A friend to me, is someone who supports or backs you ,a friend like a sister is what everyone always asks for.A friend is that person who is always there and helps you in every step of your life both in hardship and in happiness. A friend is someone who always pushes you to do the right thing, who sacrifice and correct you.
Although, no one is perfect but the sincerity you see in a friend's eye matters.
My name is Ameera and I'm 18 years old, I school at tafawa balewa secondary school in kabala costain kaduna. I live with my poor parents and my three brothers, two senior and one junior. I'm the only female child.
I only have just one bestfriend, Aisha, she is the daughter of alhaji Dabo. He is the chairman of kabala coastain,he is rich and owns alot of businesses.
Aisha's mother, hajiya halima is a very kind hearted woman, she loves me like her own daughter. Aisha has two elder sisters and two junior brothers .
Oops enough about Aisha. I closed my diary book and kept it aside, I love writing about myself and people around me. One thing I cherish most is writing, I find pleasure in it.
I came out of my room and wasn't surprised to see mum arranging the firewood , about to prepare our launch . Baba has gone to the farm with my two older brothers.
"good afternoon mama " I greeted her and went to help her out with the firewood.
" How are you my daughter ,are you done writing your story?" mum asked with a small smile. She loves teasing me about my passion for writing.
"yes mum, what are we cooking" I asked
"tuwo and Miyan kuka is what we are having" mama answered.. We both prepare the food before baba and my two yaya(senior brothers)comes back from the farm.

Less I forget I haven't seen my younger brother aliyu.
"where did aliyu go to?" I asked her
" I sent him to give maman Faisal a message" she replied smiling. She kept giving me the smile that says 'I sent him to your future husband's house '.
"mama you have started ko" I said with fake anger.
She have always wanted Faisal and I to end up marrying each other. Quite alright, Faisal is interested in me since we were young and I never reciprocated his feelings .
He understood that I only love him as a friend and nothing more.He is four years older than me, fair in complexion, tall and handsome. Faisal is a medicine student of Kaduna state university.
Faisal is a kind of person that have this aura around him, he is a lady's man that sometime alot of parents want him to marry their children but he rejected all proposals.
Later in the day baba and my brothers came back from the farm. We all ate our launch and the tuwo and Kuka was so delicious. I left for islamiyya when I was done with my meal. Already, I'd graduated from islamiyya(islamic school) but I just love going there to teach some of the junior student since I have nothing doing at home.
Saturdays and Sundays are the days I do go to islamiya to teach and tomorrow we will be resuming school(secondary school) .
We went for our second term break so In shaa Allah by tomorrow , we'll start our third term. I'm an ss3 student which means I will be writing my Waec and Neco this term.
*****
I was on my way home from islamiya not until I heard someone calling my name and that someone was Faisal.
" Assalamu alaikum ameera(peace be upon you) " Faisal greeted with a smile on his handsome face..

"waalaikumus salam(peace be upon you too) " I answered with a genuine smile. Although he can't see the smile since a Niqab was wrapped around my face.
" How was the Islamic school today? Hope you weren't stressed out? "
" it was Fine thank you" I replied. He walked me home. My house is just a few minutes walk from the islamiyya.
We stopped walking when we reach the door to my house .
I bid him goodbye and was about to enter the compound but Faisal has other plans coz he stopped me by calling my name. I turnef to answer.
" yes?" I ask with a confused face. I don't know why he called me back.
" Ameera, I know what I'm about to confess is something I've said before but I'll keep asking you till you accept. " he said with an intense look in his eye
" Ameera I'm in love with you... This feeling I have for you is very deep.I feel like my heart wants to explode with your love. Dan Allah ameera accept my proposal, I don't think I can love any other woman but you Ameera . I'll not force you to love me but I want you to consider my feelings, please think about it. " he declared and left without waiting for my respond.
I was so speechless, I never knew the love Faisal has for me is so deep. The truth is I'm not ready for any relationship as of now. I just want to focus on my studies.I don't even know what to do.
I entered into my compound with different thoughts running in my head.
" Good evening mama " I greeted .She gave me a big smile
" How was the Islamic school and why is your face dull my darling daughter? " she asked concerned.
" I'm fine mama, I'm just tired that's all" I told her with the best smile I could muster..
" Go and rest inside my sweet daughter " she said with a concerned face. Mama likes calling me with different endearments and I so much love it because I'm the only female child she has..

46 Year Old Syndrome
The daily Litrpg journal of a fairly average 46 year old man in a world where hundreds of thousands of people suddenly have a super power.Follow him as he learns skills, runs away a lot, suffers crippling headaches, avoids reading his titles, and tries to avoid breaking his body that didn't get enough calcium and vegetables.[Disclaimer 1: Despite the following, I will fix any typos pointed out. This is a writing exercise so chapters are mostly first drafts, otherwise I'd end up rewriting each chapter for a month or more with no real changes. My goals are a steady output by not using perfectionism as a procrastination method. I've already got laziness and additions to reading/games, I don't need a 3rd reason to procrastinate.][Disclaimer 2: The main character is a more normalized version of me, with 170% less laziness installed, and a few buffs like greater courage. Other things like having a job are partially similar. No other characters are based on real people because most people I know are either too normal to be useful or too fucked in the head to be believable.]

While my writing style may be a bit rusty, I hope to be able to provide nothing more than a good book to sit down and read for awhile. P.S. I might not be able to be consistent with updates to the story, but I'll do my best! I hope you enjoy! ---------------------------- Cover art done by ShayeSoForgetful.
