Already dressed in my straight sky blue dress, I walked to take my Veil from the bed and walked back to the mirror to re apply my make up. Amir told me yesterday, when he came back from his meeting with Khalifa ,he said he want to take me out for lunch today and who am I to disagree. Of course, I told him yes cos it has been long I went out and I'm so feeling to go out today.

I also told him that, I'd love to visit Aisha's parents and he agree to drive me there after our lunch. I tried calling Aisha today again but it wasn't going through , each day that passes I must just see to it that I called Aisha's phone but to no avail ,it always go to voicemail.

" Ameera " I heard Amir calling out my name,i quickly put on my wedge shoe and went to open the door for him.

OMG, he was already dressed in a blue T-shirt and black trousers that make him really look good in a nice way. I gave him a once over and when I look up to meet his eye, he was smirking at me.

" Done checking me out"

I blushed in shame that he caught me staring

" I wasn't checking you out "

" really now " he fold his arm over his chest as he said this, he chuckled.

" I'm serious "

" My little wifey, you need not be shy. I'm your husband and you are free to always check me out anytime, anywhere. "

I look down shyly

He raise my head up to meet his eyes and I was shocked by the intensity I met in those beautiful eyes. Was it all for me.

" I-i I think we should get going " I blurt out cos I feel so uneasy when he gives me all those look. I'm still trying to get use to it, to him and everything that involves Amir.

He blinked and quietly cleared his throat " yeah, you're right. We should get going"

He turn to leave but turn back to face me again, now with a sincere smile.

" you look beautiful in your dress little wifey"

Really? But why do you always call me little wify... I wanted asking but I only shyly smile back at him.

" and we also match" he added with a smile , I didn't understood what he meant but when I noticed that he wore a blue T-shirt and I a sky blue gown, my cheeks warm up.

" let's go amir" I drawled out cos I couldn't help it. He just love making me blush.

He chuckled and turn to leave while I trailed behind him as we walk out of the house to his car.

The car came to a stop at the front of a restaurant. Sumptuous food restaurant was written at the top of the building.

We both got down from the car and walked side by side into the restaurant. The door was opened by Amir and I went in first and he came in after I did. He already booked a table for us before coming and we were directed to our table by the waitress. I love how the restaurant look so beautiful and how the setting is. To me, the restaurant has this feel of love in the air cos most people who are in here are almost all couples or friends. You might be wondering how I know all this?

I notice this from the way they smile at each other and by the silent song which is playing ...

C'mon Ameera, concentrate on what brought you here and stop looking at other people

I mentally scolded myself and turn to look at Amur who was already looking at me.

I gave him a questioning look and he smile at me.

" from the way you kept looking at the place, I know you love this place"

I have nothing to say to that so I nod at him with a smile.

" Good, cos I don't know what to do if you don't like it" he teased

" I love the restaurant, and I'm glad you choose the best one at that to bring me" I thanked him and he only brush it off with a smile.

" it nothing wifey, anything for you"

My cheeks warmed up

Well,he stopped the teasing when the waiter came to take out order. We both order for the samething . For the mean while I kept reminiscing on the song playing, it such a lovely song that always brought a smile to my face.

It was thinking out loud by Ed Sheeran . I've always love the song.

Few minutes later ,the waiter brought our food and we both dig in. Let me tell you something, the food was to die for. It was so so delicious.

When we were done, Amir paid the bill and we left soon after. He drove us to the park, the same park I once went to with my brother and Aisha, the same one which I first saw sadiya and Khalifa. Yeah, that same one.

They were the two people I was admiring that day, I thought they were couples then cos of how funny they were.

I later remembered where I first saw sadiya and Khalifa when I was gisting with sadiya. She made mention of the day she went to the park by force with Khalifa. She said she had always wanted to also go there cos it was a new park, so she begged Amir to drive her there since her other brothers were schooling abroad but unfortunately for her, Amir had a business meeting then. So Amir requested Khalifa for her and the lucky man agreed to take her there not knowing that they both were seriously into each other.

I really want Khalifa and sadiya to end up marrying each other. They sure would make a nice couple.

" hello there, are you done going to dream land" Amir brought me out of my thoughts and I turn to him.

" we've been her for the past fifteen minutes and I was waiting for you to get down of the car but I can see that you went to your own world" he chuckled as he said this , I blushed and got out of the car.

" sorry for that "

" nope it's not a problem, in fact I wanna know where you travelled off to" he tease and I lightly hit him on his arm

" stop it, amir" I shyly drawled out

Amir laugh wholeheartedly at me. I love this side of Amir.

We walk into the park together. I was admiring the park as we walk but then, I felt a hand slipped into mine. Due to the tingle I felt, I quickly turn to look at Amir and he was already doing same. We both look at each other,promising each other something which can't be said with the mouth but the eyes.

Am I already having deep feelings for amir? I felt love when I look into his eye. Is that how I also look at him?

But the moment was cut short by the call of amir's name. We both came back to our senses and turn to the parson calling his name.

" AMIR" the lady shouted again and we turn to look at the direction where the voice was coming. A very beautiful woman was jogging to us or should I say to Amir precisely.

She came forward to hug him and the most annoying thing is that she kissed him on the lip. Everything stills for a second,i couldn't process what was happening. I just looked at them with wide eyes without blinking.

Is this real?

I kept looking at them like a statue, then Amir pushed her away from him when he also came out of shock.

" what is all this samira" he angrily shouted at her. Wait, isn't she the same person I heard Amir talking to, few weeks ago?

" Darling, I miss you "

I couldn't take it anymore , I ran out of there in full speed. I heard Amir calling my name but I don't care, he should go to hell.

My heart is breaking, I can't take this. I came to a stop at the gate of the park and quickly stopped a cab to Aisha's house.

I wouldn't let this stop me from going to Aisha's house. It time like this I need my friend. My heart is seriously breaking, why do I feel like this could it be that I'm in love with amir?

I love amir

It hurt seeing him with that lady, it hurt so much. I kept crying in the cab without a care, I don't care if the cab man hear my cries, I don't care. Is this how it feel to be heart broken?

God why me, I was so happy that our day started beautifully but why does it have to end so so badly. Is this your way of punishing me for what Aisha and I did? Please Allah, forgive me.

" ma'am we are here" the cab man announced .

I quickly wiped my tears and pay the cab man his money. I got out and walk to their Aisha's gate. Breath in, breath out, . After calming myself ,I knocked at the gate and the gate man open the door.

" aunty Ameera, kwana biyu" he greeted with a smile and I replied to his greetings. I asked if Aisha's parent were home and he answered with, yes.

I walked into the house praying that no one find out about my red face. I rang the doorbell and the door was opened my mummy, (Aisha's mother )

She looks surprised and pull me for a tight hug.

" My baby I miss you so much dear" she cooed and I also return the hug back cos I really need one right now.

We pull away and mummy ushered me inside the house, daddy( Aisha's father) was watching the news but when he turn and saw me, he mute the telly and gave me a big smile.

" Aisha, how are you doing and how is your husband, I hope that young man is treating you right" I nodded at him with a smile.

" we're all fine "

I went forward to sit on the chair and mummy asked the house help to bring refreshments for me but I declined. They asked of Amir and I told them that he has an important meeting and I couldn't wait for him so I came alone. They were very happy to see me.

Then, I asked them about the main reason that brought me and the mood change. Especially daddy's.

" That good for nothing girl, I will deal with her when she comes back. " Dad angrily said and mom was silently trying to calm him down. I feel so guilty right now.

I asked them if she is still in Abuja and I was told that she is still with her aunty in Abuja. But they told the aunt to seize her phone so she won't be able to contact or chat with anyone as a punishment for her. Let just say, she is on house arrest.

No wonder I haven't received a call from her.

I'm happy that she is at least fine. I asked when she is coming back and daddy said when school resumes , which is one month from now.

I'm happy that I'd soon see my bestfriend. After the visit ,I bid them goodbye and daddy told his driver to take me home.

Home?

Where I can now face my problem
