yay!, I'm so happy cos school is starting today. Sadiya and I went to start our registration last week and we are done with it. I put on an atampa ,sew beautifully but Amir spoiled the jinks cos he asked me to wear a hijab over it. I wanted refusing but I know how jealous Amir can be so I decided to wear a hijab.

Amir would be taking us to school today before going to work. I told him times without number that sadiya would drive us to school and he doesn't have to bother. You all know how Amir can be, he loves having the final say.

" come on let's go " I said to a busy Amir. He was typing away on his laptop ,looking so business like. He never listens ,he shouldn't have bother.

He stood up to pack his suit case then walked toward the door. He saw the look I shut at me.

" I know what you want to say,love. I want to be the one to take you to school today,please let me. " he came forward to peck my lips and I smiled up at him.

" OK, come let's go before you get late for work"

" love, I already told you that I'm the boss. " he said in a singing voice. I laughed at the way he sounds, he also smiled.

" you're really funny Amir, how do you do that with your manly voice" he cock his brow at me.

" are you trying to kill my manly ego, I know I sound sexy but you just wouldn't admit that, love"

I burst into laugh

" you? Sexy?You aren't even shy of saying that" I mock. He move forward to pull me for a embrace.

" and why would I be shy of my wife, I have no reason to be shy in front of you, love. I want you to know that" I awed at him.

We heard a clearing of throat, we turn to see an annoyed looking sadiya

" hmm, when you love birds are done having your lovey-dovey moment , then we can now leave. I kept saying the entry greeting but you two didn't even hear me. " said a serious sadiya.

" I don't want to miss my first lecture o, so please let's move"

" lier, you only are eager to see Khalifa cos he is going to also start lecturing today" I teased

Oh yes, we were also surprised when Khalifa broke the news to us that he will start lecturing at kaduna state university in the same department as sadiya. He said, he has always wanted to be a lecturer but that doesn't stop him from working in his company. He will do the two Jobs together. Anyway that good for him, at least he is now able fulfill his dream job. I'm happy for him.

" hey, you two should stop talking about Khalifa and you, sadiya. It irks me enough that my best friend and my little sister are dating, so please ladies let's get moving " Amir said then turn to peck me before walking out the door.

Sadiya made a choking sound and I rolled my eyes at her.

" what? Haven't you ever seen married couple kissed before ?"

" whatever"

I teasingly smile at her

We walk together towards Amir's car. I took the passenger seat and sadiya sat at the back seat.

AT THE UNIVERSITY

Students turn to look at the car that just arrived. All looking awed at the car, it was a G wagon. Amir didn't even blink an eye at all the eyes on him and the car. We all got down from the car and so many females and males were surprise at the arrival of Amir in the school. Sometimes I always forget how popular Amir is, he is the son of one of the richest men in kaduna. How can I forget that?.

This made me feel uneasy, I don't like how the females look at him, it's so irritating. I think Amir saw how I glared at a girl who didn't even care at how she openly drooled at him,he walk to my side and held my hands in a reassuring way.

" Don't mind her, I'm only yours ,love" he quietly muttered so that only I can hear him. I smile up at him and we all made our way to the classes area.

My first lecture is holding in lt1 and sadiya's is lt2. We both are having lectures in a hall close to each other and I'm happy for that.

We came to a stop at lt1 ,all the while ,Amir still held my hand. He brought me close to him and I'm sure that people saw how he was openly showing affection to me.

" Now my job here is done, I'd send the driver to bring you two home. " I nodded at him.

" I love you" he said and kissed my forehead

" I love you too" I answered back and he smiled at me then turn to sadiya who is making a choking sound. He cock his brow at her while I smiled at her.

" You two are the most annoying couple I have ever seen, you don't even care that I'm right here with you" she annoyingly said and Amir glared at her.

" wait let Khalifa and you get married, that is when we'd know who is the most annoying couple " that shut her up. Amir chuckled at a now mouth shut sadiya. He turn to me with a smile.

" Good bye love "

" see you soon" and then he left.

" so let's get going " I said to a irritated sadiya

"whatever" I chuckled at her bluntness

I went into my lecture hall and sadiya also walk to hers. Their was already a lecturer inside the hall, I took my seat close to a beautiful Christian girl. She gave me a friendly smile and I also returned it.

" I'm sarah" she introduced herself

" ameera"

" Nice meeting you, ameera"

" same here"

After that,we both turn to listen to the lecturer

Lectures ends around 3:00pm. I waited for sadiya outside my lecture hall,their was a slab outside so I sat on it.

I brought out my phone to continue playing candy crush, I love the game so much. In my process of playing the game my phone rang, an unknown number was written on the screen. I swipe to answer.

" hello? "

I heard a squeal that sound like Aisha's voice.

" hello, Aisha is that you?" I asked unsure.

" yes silly girl ,it's me"

I squealed happily but when I saw the look people shut at me I lowered my voice.

" What happened to you girl, I miss you so so so much wallah" I happily said

" me too, wallah I also miss you too. Can you believe that I was on house arrest throughout all this time"

" oh yes, I knew about that. I went to visit mommy and daddy, they told me about it"

" wallah I was so angry at them for doing that to me. I miss ya kabiru "

" I know you two have already talk by now"

" yes o, trust me on that. He is the first person I called, I miss his handsome face wallah"

" see this girl fa, so you're not even shy " I teased

" why would I be shy, I really miss him" I chuckled at her.

She cleared her throat

" so how is marriage life" she sound unsure of asking

" good,good. Look can we not talked this over the phone"

" yes sure let's meet up, are you busy right now? " she asked

" I'm in school, you know school just resumed today"

" owk, I've even forgotten. What of after lectures?"

" well, I'm done with lectures. The thing is I'm waiting for sadiya, Amir's sister. We are going home together " I explain

" owk o, I just pray you haven't replaced me yet with anybody " she jokingly asked and I chuckled

" lol, how will I replace you. I haven't found anyone like you yet, God saved you you're back if not I'd have look for someone to replace you with" I joke

" yeye girl, don't even try it. If not, I will beat my replacement black and blue ,after that I'd reclaimed my position as your bestest friend "

" you are really funny Aisha. On a serious note I really miss you"

" Then let's meet up " she said

" okay, hope it won't be a bother if I bring sadiya with me" I asked.

" what are you even saying, don't you know that the more the merrier. A new friend of your is also a new friend of mine"

" OK then, send me the address of the place we'd meet and time"

" Alright, will do that now. Can't wait to see you"

" see you soon"

I hanged up with a happy smile, oh Allah I'm happy my best friend is back

" why are you smiling like you won a lottery"

Sadiya walk closer to me and sat beside me on the slab.

" Guess what! "

" what? "

" you remember my friend Aisha I always talk about? "

" oh,you mean the runaway bride? " she asked while I gave her a not so good look with the way she referred Aisha as.

" oops my bad, you mean your best friend" she corrected.

" yes, she is back. Can you believe it" I happily said and sadiya look not so happy about it.

" hey, what happened?Why do you look so unhappy about the news? " I asked, concerned.

She smiled up at me but anyone can see that, that smile was forced.

" no-no it nothing" she stuttered on her words then shrugged.

I held her right shoulder " please tell me what the problem is, sadiya. I'm worried "

She sighed " The thing is I'm jealous OK. I'm jealous that we won't be as close as we were before ,now that your best friend is back"

I grinned " you are something else, you two mean alot to me and I also cherish my friendship with you, sadiya. You have nothing to be worried about."

She look unsure but smiled at me " I'm stupid for even thinking like that. I'm so sorry Ameera. " she moved forward to hug me,.

" you know what?" I asked as she pull away from the hug

" what?"

" I think I should be the one worried here"

" how do you mean? " she asked.

" Because I definitely know that when you two meet, you'd forget poor old me. You and Aisha are both similar, and I'm sure that your friendship wouldn't be a struggle, you'll both pull it off. " I uttered with a pout

Sadiya laugh at me " now I'm eager to meet this popular aisha I have been hearing about from you"

" soon" my phone buzzed and I swipe the screen to see who texted. It's Aisha, she just sent me the address of the place we'd be meeting.

" we have a place to go, come on let's go " I said to a confused looking sadiya

" where are we going? "she asked

" To meet Aisha, duh"

" what of Amir, have you text him you are going to meet aisha?"

" Nope I haven't and don't even think of texting him"

last time we went out, she was the one who text Amir the address of the restaurant

" I promise I won't, come on let's go" I thankfully smiled at her.

We both walk to the parking lots,to meet our driver.

We got into the back seat and I directed him to were he is going to take us.
