"I'm scared"
"Just leave me alone, stop."
thought as I locked the door to the cafe. It's not that I hated working there, it was just boring and like I said; repetitive. I couldn't stop thinking about that boy and girl, I glanced down at my bag, containing the documents. Should I read them? No, that's an invasion of their privacy... I shouldn't read it.
I trailed down the silent streets, towards the small apartment block on the corner of the street, next to a cramped alleyway. Whenever I walked passed it, I always felt a super cold chill spread throughout my whole body. As I walked past it, I felt as if I was being watched. A lot of drug business happened there, so I'm not really surprised, but still. It was making me very paranoid.
I heard footsteps behind me, ok stay calm, they are probably just walking the same way as me...
The footsteps sped up, as did I. Then I broke out into a full blown run, I don't care if I look stupid right now, I'm scared to turn around. I realised they were most definitely following me, as they ran as well. Then I heard them stop.
I slowed down to a walk, I held my breathe for a long time, I was so scared. I stopped walking, silence. Dead silence. I let out a sigh of relief as I spun around and couldn't see anyone. I spun back around, and continued waking, looking out of the corner of my eye, every minute or so.
I knew that someone had been following me, But why'd they stop? Did they see something or someone? What would've happened if they didn't stop? By the time I had made up all these frantic questions in my head, I had arrived at the door of my apartment.

I stuck the key into the key whole, turning it, then stepping inside the apartment. It wasn't to much, or to little, wasn't really expensive, or really cheap. It was simple and I liked it.
I set my bag down on the kitchen island, and grabbed a snack from the fridge. But I had that feeling again, that feeling like something was off. Like I was missing something.
I searched my apartment to look for anything that looked out of place or if anything was missing. Nothing. I sighed before getting my phone out of my bag.
Then it hit me, the documents were gone.

This is probably quite shit cause it's late at night and I'm genuinely struggling to keep my eyes open lmao, that's probably why this chapter is so short as well tbh, sorry about that, stay safe :)

Interestingly, to coordinate these systems, Cosmic Consciousness gave him the gift of being able to duplicate himself. He could clone a finite number of himself to manipulate these systems. Magus, Alchemist, Mesmer, Tamer, Hunter, Vampire, Werewolf, Dragonknight, Necromancer..... ----- It will be a story that focuses on combat and levelup but still has many mature contents. After a long time, I decided to blend them into one story. So the MC will have many routes to upgrade and, of course as well, many pretty female characters. I can't wait to share these with you guys!
