'Freedom?'
'Whatever I've done, I did it for love.'
on the plush seat of the guest chair inside of the expensive office, I kept my gaze on the marble flooring, to scared to look up as I felt his burning gaze glare into the top of my head.
After a few minutes of uncomfortable silence, he spoke, his smooth voice echoing across the room. "I'm guessing you're confused... well lucky for you, I'm about to explain what the fuck is going on." He flashed me a sinister grin after finishing his sentence, his pearly white teeth glistening in the light. His scar uncomfortably creasing as his grin grew.
"Assuming Han went through all the questions and all of that irrelevant shit?" I finally worked up the courage to force my gaze up at his, his attractive face still facing me, his intimidating gaze burning into my soul. He raised an eyebrow as his smirk began to drop into a serious stern expression. Causing me to slowly nod and sink further into my chair.
His cruel smirk returned to his face as I nervously replied. "Good... have you ever seen or contacted these four people?" He questioned as he handed me four pictures of both woman and men, some looked like students, some looked like adults. As he handed them to me, our fingers brushed past each other, causing sparks to fly up my body. His smirk widened as he noticed my inexperienced reaction to the quick intimacy.
I carefully studied the four faces, attempting to recognise them, I didn't recognise any. I looked back up at him and shook my head in denial. He sighed and brought himself closer to the table. "Words, sweetheart. I don't have the time or the patience for any of this fucking mute bullshit." I looked away from him before replying with a quiet "no."

He leaned back in his chair, enclosing his hands together. "Good girl" chills ran down my spine as his grin widened. The two of us sat in uncomfortable silence for a few minutes, all that could be heard was my laboured breathing as I gulped in fear.
Then, he opened his mouth to speak. "Okay, we're done here." He spoke with an eerie tone in his voice, making me shiver in pure fear, he still had that same, sickeningly sweet smile. Can I go? Are they letting me go home?...
Numerous questions surrounded my head as Felix walked back into the room, causing the man who had just been speaking to me, who I assumed to be their boss, to glance up at the both of us. The man behind the desk leant closer to me, a sickeningly sweet grin snaked its way onto his face. "We'll meet again, [name]"
I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion, and slightly tilted my head to the side. My confused state distorted even more as the man behind the desk looked back up at Felix, and nodded to him, signalling him. I let out a strained gasp as I felt a freezing cold hand, quickly grip the back of my head, and slammed my head down onto the hard desk below, face first.
A huge, hot pool of pain surrounded my head, but then everything went still, and quiet. I couldn't feel the centre part of my face, I didn't feel any pain. I didn't feel anything at all. But for a second I felt my head being lifted and turned to the side, by the same cold, pale, ringed hand from before. As my world turned to complete blackness, the last thing I saw was the evil glint of two terrifying men's dark eyes leaning over me, and a large pool of my own blood, leaking onto the expensive desk below, my hair becoming mangled as dark, red blood seeped into it.

to calm down." Jisung held Minho by his shoulders as he attempted to calm Him from his distorted and violent state. Salty tears streamed down Lee know's perfect face as he tried to free himself from Han's rough grip.
"Minho, you need to tell me what's wrong." Han was completely shocked at Lee knows fear of [Name] being gone. Minho desperately tried to drag Jisung's tight grip off of him. His hysterical cries filled the huge room as two sets of heavy footsteps echoed down the nearby hallway.
The two Australians swung the door open into the spacious office, revealing Han and Minho, "what the hell is going on?" Bangchan shouted at the two of them, the room fell into a deadly silence. All that could be heard was the loud and hysterical cries of Lee know.
Felix walked in front of Bangchan, and towards the other two. He roughly ripped Han's grip off of Lee Know's shoulders, and replaced them with his own ringed hands. "Minho, calm down, it's okay." Minho's violent cries slowly calmed down, as he took deep intakes of air. "What are you upset about?" Felix slowly removed his hands from his shoulders, and took a few steps away.
Lee know took a deep breath, and hesitated before delivering an answer. "I-I need [name]. I need to be near her, I know, believe me I know that I sound insane, and I've only spoken to her once I know. But I just feel like I have to be near her..." his words trailed off towards the end as he looked down towards the marble flooring of the office.
Bangchan closed his eyes and sighed in frustration at Minho's lovesick state. "Minho, you seem to have misunderstood by what I meant by 'letting her go'" Lee know glanced up at Chan in confusion, his dried tears become evident in his face.
A cruel smirk rested on Chan's face as he took painfully slow steps towards the other three. "You think I'd let that little cunt go? Like I said before, she belongs to us, she needs us, she won't survive in this world without us. Now, I'm not sure about everyone else, but I think it's time to move onto phase three."
Minho's mood completely changed once he heard those words, the three of them looked at each other, before looking back up at their boss, mirroring his smirk. Poor [name], bless her soul. Wish her good luck, she'll definitely need it for dealing with Stray Kids.

OOHHHHHH what's phase three? Why do you think they've 'let her go?'
I need your guys help with something, so I'm thinking of writing a new book as well as this one. So in the book, [name]'s mother works for the king, and gets accused of stealing, and gets sentenced to death. [name] then tries to convince the king to not kill her mother, but the king is very cruel, and is feared all throughout the world. But he for some unknown reason agrees to spare [name]'s mother, in return she has to work 50 years as a maid at the palace, not being paid. But, the king soon gets infiltrated with [name]. Basically it's a yandere story, but idk if it's any good and idk what idol would suit it best. What are your thoughts? Stay safe :)

Jamie was having a bad day, until he was crushed to death by a beer delivery truck and things became a whole lot worse. Thrown back into the 'Real World', but now with access to his own stats and those of others Jamie must undertake a series of quests in order to level up and advance, and figure out just what in the name of all that is unholy is going on. Which is the real world? Is he in a game? A simulation? And who actually is his online friend Barry. Inspired greatly by the MUDs of the 90s, many of the aspects will be familiar to those who experienced the joys of text adventures, MUSHs, MURPEs, MUDs, modern MMORPGs or just some good old fashioned cybering with a 17/f/Cali who was anything but. This humorous, harem LitRPG story is the first story by experienced author Jamie Haremie under this pen name. Jamie has previously written horror and romance (sometimes together!) as well as tons and tons of riveting TPS reports. (Late 90s cultural reference? CHECK). Any and all comments and suggestions welcome!

A discontinued story. I don't advise people to read this story, but it is the basis for my new one: Aevitas — I am not an NPC [R] New remodelled version may not yet be out, but if it isn't it should be 'soon'.
