I ran my fingers through his beard, knowing he loved whenever I did that. We laid on the bed reminiscing about the past. I couldn't believe it had been two years since we got together. Time seems to move so quickly here lately. His fingers lightly brushed the curve of my hip.
Seth, wasn't a fan of Vampires that was for sure but I did manage to win his heart. It wasn't easy but boy was I persistent. I knew what I wanted and I went after it. I gave his lips a smooch* "Babe you remember the first time I came into your bar?"
He nodded his head slowly* "Yes my little gypsy. I remember all too well. Your stench could be smelled miles away."
My lips pursed together into a pout. "I didn't smell that bad, did I?"
He chuckled loudly…."Whatever you say my beautiful gypsy, Vampire."
Two Years Ago
It was the night of the full moon and I was in a terrible mood. My father had summoned me for another mission. This time I was on the hunt for two werewolves that were killing pack members for the fun of it. It was a mated pair which made them extremely powerful. Mates will do anything and everything to protect each other. I knew going in that it would be a hell of a fight.
I really wasn't in the mood for this shit to be honest. Killing was just another thing that had to be done. Nothing pisses me off more than high and mighty bullies that go around killing their weak Werewolf brothers and sisters. It doesn't take balls to kill someone that just came into puberty. Rolling my as I let out a deep angry sigh.
Looking at my watch, I knew I had an hour to get this over and done with. I flashed to Werewolf's den knowing this was the place where they slept. I walked into their den with my powers to not disturb them. This should be easy enough. Two silver bullets to the head and done. Well life isn't that easy nor that fun.
What I didn't anticipate after killing the mates was the pack waiting for me as soon I walked out their den. One jumped and pounced on me, knocking me to the ground. I slid my hand to my boot and pulled out my favorite knife that was made from silver. I rammed into the wolf's throat all the way to his skull. His blood poured out him coating my body. I pushed him off of me and took out the rest of the pack with a couple of battle scars along the way.
I knew I looked terrible but I did not give two fucks about what I looked like. I needed a drink and I needed it now. I found my way to the nearest bar I could find and all eyes were on me when I walked through the door. I plopped down the barstool and turned slowly giving everyone a two finger salute* "None of you assholes, never had a bad day before?"

Pulling out a wad of cash and slammed it down on the bar. A little blonde approached me. She looked like a stripper. Her boobs were oozing out her tank top and her midriff was on full display. I rolled my eyes at her peppy attitude. She asked me what I would like to drink. I wanted to tell her that her pulsating vein in her neck was begging for me to drain her dry. "I want all the bloodwine you have. Money isn't an issue. Now go run along, pretty and fetch me a drink."
She made a disgusted face and found her way back after twenty minutes passed. She sat the glass down and looked me over* "You smell like shit and you look even worse."
I grabbed her by the wrist and pulled her close* "You might want to watch that pretty little mouth of yours before I ram my knife into your throat."
She jerked her hand away and ran to the back of the bar. I laughed and chugged the wine down. I sat the glass back down on the bar. I heard the blonde squeak out* "That's her boss. She said she was going to ram her blade in my throat."
I looked up and flicked her off. I was starting to feel the effects of the blood wine. I didn't have time for this shit. Before I could get out my seat a hand grabbed and pushed down onto the bar stool. My eyes flashed red. I looked up into the eyes of the most beautiful man I had ever seen. I could feel the drool rolling down my chin. He was tall and easily towered over me like I was nothing. His long brown hair and beard made my fingers itch to touch them. His piercing green orbs were staring a hole through me.
I couldn't even get a word out before he spoke* "She is right. You do smell like shit. Couldn't you take a shower before coming into my bar?"
*I flashed my fangs and rolled my eyes again* "Poor little blonde got scared and ran to her Daddy for help. I am a paying customer and I want another glass of blood wine. Now get to it."
He growled low so only I could hear it. "You might need this instead." He slammed a bottle of Listerine down on the bar. "That might help with your bad breath. Now drink your last glass and get out of my bar."
I flashed behind the blonde and nipped her shoulder and roared into a fit of laughter when she soiled herself. The sexy bar owner wasn't pleased and grabbed and took me into the back room. He slammed me down onto the sofa. He snarled in my face* "I hate fucking Vampires. You all are the same. Thinking the world revolves around you. What you did in my bar isn't fucking okay. I will not tolerate that kind of behavior. Now stay here and sleep that shit off."

I must have dozed off because when I woke up. The sexy bar owner was asleep in a chair. Did he really watch over me? No one has ever done that before. I slowly walked over to him and gently shook him, trying to wake him up. His eyes fluttered open and a grin tugged at his lips. I was a little overwhelmed by his generosity. "I am sorry to wake you.. Mr. Ummm. I don't think I caught your name earlier."
He stood up, towering over me* "That's because I never told you."
I glared into his beautiful eyes. "Looks like someone woke up in a grumpy mood."
He ran his hand through his hair. You are the reason I woke up grumpy* "My name is Seth. Now you can leave. I need to get things ready for the day."
I followed him out the door into the bar. I sat down on the barstool and he gave me a perplexed look. Like I was annoying him* "Look Vamp, I don't have time for anymore of your bullshit. Go home and take a shower. You smell even worse than you did last night."
I shook my head. "Fine, I will take my leave but I will be back to annoy you some more."
Before he could speak another word, I flashed back to my home. I looked in the mirror and almost fainted. I did look like shit. My hair was matted to my head and I was covered in dry blood. I went into the bathroom to turn on the shower and peeled off my clothes and got in the shower to scrub myself clean. I believe I used every shampoo I had to get the pungent smell of wolf off of me.
The following Friday, I decided to wear a very low cut dress that hugged my curves nicely. I wore my hair in a high ponytail. I was ready to make that man change his views of Vampires. Pushing the door to the Bar open I walked with purpose in my step and goal in my sights. I was going to show that arrogant Bar owner exactly what he was missing. Taking a seat at the bar, I waited for him to take notice. The little annoying blonde came bouncing over to me. She asked me what I would like to drink. I told her a glass of whiskey would do.
Seth would look up every once in a while in my direction. At one point he gave me a little wink and I almost melted into the barstool. I clinched my fists under the Bar so he wouldn't notice screaming at my self in my head "WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?" Never in my thousand years of existence had a man made me feel like this. Seriously I was smitten and I hardly knew him. A husky voice brought me out of my thoughts into reality.
I looked up and it was Seth who brought me my drink. I thought he looked yummy last week. Tonight he was dressed in old beat up work pants that hung off him with a leather vest. His long hair was pulled back into a ponytail. He honestly looked like some Longshoreman getting off a double shift at the docks but by my ancestors he still looked fucking addictive. I tried to speak but I stumbled on my words not to mention the goofy looking wave* "Hiii."
He chuckled and ran a finger across my chin* "You have a little drool there. Thought I would help you out. So tell me what a beautiful little Vampire like you is doing all alone in my bar on a Friday night?"
I opened my mouth but the words didn't want to come out. Finally I got myself together smiling up at him. "I believe I promised a certain gentleman that I would be back to annoy him."
He took a step back, his eyes roamed over my entire body. He shook his head, smiling with a hint of sarcasm in his voice. "Don't tell me you are the same annoying little Vampire from the other night."
I nervously giggled. "It is me in the flesh. I clean up nicely, don't I?"
His eyes smiled at me, realizing it really was me* "No way you are the same annoying woman from the other night."
I nodded my head. It is most definitely me* "Can you believe all this."
*I ran my hands over my curves*
was hiding under all that blood?"
He didn't say anything. He just stood there shaking his head and smiling his beautiful warm smile. "Seth, I want to make up for last week. I would love to take you out to dinner and prove that I am not what you think I am. I realize you despise Vampires but I am not like the rest." I proposed that we meet up every week from then on.
He agreed to the date and for the next six months we met every Friday. We would talk about everything and laugh like we haven't laughed in years. Seth was winning me over with each passing Friday. He truly was something amazing and I knew he was the one I wanted. There was no one else for me.
One Friday night I fell asleep on the ride home. I was woken up by my body gently swaying back and forth. Seth had me cradled in his arms carrying me into his bar. His warm smile made it easy for me to drift back to sleep as he carried me upstairs to his apartment. He gently placed me in the bed trying not to wake me. My eyes opened and I was greeted with his beautiful smile that melted my non existence heart. I decided to be brave and kiss him. That's all it took for him to finally give into me. We made love over and over again. From that moment on I was his and he was mine.

Is It Too Late To Move My Lair?
A legendary dragon... It has been told in the stories for hundreds of years. Some say it keeps a mountain of treasure in its cave, some say it is a vicious beast, some say it protects the village nearby, some claim it can grant their wishes, and some just think it's nothing more than a fairytale. He is not. The dragon is very real, although he isn't bothered by what people think of him in the slightest. He also doesn't have a grand treasure, nor does he grant wishes, like a magical genie. He is not interested in eating humans either. And as for protecting them… well. This is the story of the time before the legends, how they came to life and a dragon in the quest of his snooze. In a nutshell, this is a simple, light-hearted story with a dragon in it. What I have in mind is a relatively short one compared to most of the works on this site, but we'll see where it goes. This is my first attempt at writing something like this, so please be patient and kind in pointing out mistakes. As for the posting schedule... let's say it will be sporadic. Hope you enjoy reading, as much as I do while writing it… THE STORY IS NOT DROPPED, JUST SLOW ON THE UPDATES. Cover art by Nane, aka me. (Cross-posted on Scribble Hub.)

The Rocky Shore
This is a LitRPG series. Every story you read here takes place in the same virtual world, with the same rules and limitations. Characters will travel, explore vast and dangerous realms, overcome obstacles, meet one another, enter into conflicts with one another, forge alliances, make horrible mistakes, and occasionally just die. A technological singularity has been achieved, and humanity has been trapped in a virtual world by a super-intelligent, self-improving artificial intelligence. This program is not malicious at all. In fact, it desires nothing except the happiness and fulfillment of every human it has copied into itself. If its decisions seem strange to you, that's only because its reasoning is far beyond ours. It recognizes that humans cannot be happy without enemies to overcome and goals to achieve, as well as the possibility of failure and death. The world it has created may be heaven or hell, depending on the free choices of the people it contains. The non-player characters who live in this realm have no idea that they are part of a vast computer system. They seem real enough, but there is no way to tell if they are truly self-aware. Even the system that created them isn't certain. This is world in which all the things that humans are used to dealing with in the abstract: skills, talents, knowledge, reputation, social status, morality, even love, exist as readable statistics that players can see and interact with objectively. This has many curious and complex effects on how people perceive themselves and the world around them. A few quick notes on the system: -Death is permanent -The system interface can only be accessed at certain locations. -Magic of diverse kinds is available and useful, but is not a good substitute for skills, physicallity, or mental prowess. Non-magical characters are common and competitive. -There is no inventory system. Characters must physically carry everything they wish to have on their person. -Healing is slow and difficult. Magical Healing is all but unheard of. Protagonists: Raymond Garrison- A man in his late twenties who used to work as a forklift operator in Idaho. His path leads him to work as a mercenary, protecting a small community of humans and goblins from the Seelie Fae who wish to exterminate them. Patricia Chandler- A elderly British woman who arrives in this new world with her grandson Kyle and her granddaughter Elizabeth. Never having dealt with rpg game mechanics before, she is in for a rough time, but she is determined to keep her grandkids alive in a world full of danger and evil. Jamil Mesbah- An Egyptian woman who once worked as a technical writer. Her path leads into a vast and hostile forest, where she must master both her magical abilities and her survival skills in order to succeed. Enjoy your travels, friends.
