~ Summer Preston's POV ~
Thanksgiving was always a big holiday at my house. It has to do with the whole big family thing.
This year, my mom invited Anthony over for dinner since we're 'together.'
Which I'm pretty sure she regretted right now. Since we almost just ruined the turkey.
"I can not believe you two" Mom shook her head and stomped back into the kitchen.
"I told her that it wasn't a good idea to ask us to take the turkey out of the oven" I shrugged.
Dad laughed while shaking his head.
"So Tony" Dad looks over at us. "Coach Morello is letting you play in the last game of the season?"
"Yes sir" Anthony nodded.
"What about that Tanner kid?" He asked.
"He's playing too" Anthony said and Dad laughed.
"You're an open book son"
"What?" He asked.
"You look like you're about to hit someone when you talk about that kid" Dad laughed. "Your father was the same way in high school"
"I know" Anthony frowned.
"Are you okay?" I asked quietly.
"Yeah, I'm fine" He nodded.
We continued watching the movie, The March Of The Wooden Soldiers but my mind drifted off to time we went to The Land Of Make Believe. That was one of my favorite trips. We were about 5 at the time. It was just Eric, Matt and I at the time. None of the other kids were born. So Mom & Dad invited Marilyn and Anthony on the trip. We left home at 6 am and made it there by 10 am.
I remember the times because Anthony had just gotten a Blues Clues watch for his birthday and he spent the entire time teaching me about time.
We spent hours riding on rides and just running around being kids. We took a picture on the train ride there. Anthony's parents have the picture framed at their house because it's honestly adorable. Eric was kissing Marilyn on the cheek and Anthony had hugged me. We were cheek to cheek.

That was the day I started having a crush on him I think. I remember trying to kiss his cheek like Eric kissed Marilyn's but he pulled my hair. So I pushed him off the train.
I looked over at Anthony. He was watching the movie, laughing about something that happened. His laugh made my lips quirk up. His black hair was swiped to the side and his green eyes were soft.
His eyes glanced over at me and he smiled at me. So I smiled back.
"You're staring" Matt whispered from next to me.
"I know" I tore my eyes from him to look at Matt.
"You love him" Matt said quietly.
"I don't know" I said honestly.
I don't know how I feel about Anthony honestly.
~~~
"Anthony that's disgusting" I laughed while setting the table.
"My hands are clean" He rolled his eyes.
"It doesn't matter" I poke his side.
"Woah. Are you challenging me?" He turned around.
"What?" I snorted. Such a weirdo.
"Are you challenging me?" He gestured to me and then himself.
"To what?" I crossed my arms.
"To what? Do you hear her? To what" He laughed dramatically.
"What are you kids doing?" Mom laughed as she walked into the dining room.
"She challenged me momma" Anthony said dramatically.
"You challenged him?" Mom raised her eyebrow at me.
"I have no idea what he's talking about" I laugh.
"You know what" Anthony wiggled his fingers.
"Oh my god. No" I shrieked before booking it out of the dining room and down the hallway.
"Tickle fight" He yelled while running after me.
After 15 minutes of Anthony and I rolling around the living room wrestling and tickle fighting. My mom came to stop us.
"Alright love birds. It's time for dinner"
"C'mon Sunshine" Anthony grinned at me while helping me up.
~~~
"You all know the rules. Anything goes. First to 10 points wins" Dad explained.
"Let's start picking teams" Eric clapped his hands.
There was 7 of us to pick from. Marilyn had showed up after dinner like always for the annual Preston Family football game.
"Anthony c'mon I need my quarterback over here" Eric said.
"C'mon Summer" Dad gestured me over.
"Pitting the couple against each other. That's a dirty move Adam" Mom said from the side of the yard where she was showing May new cheerleading techniques.
"You mean a smart move" Dad winked at mom.
After 10 minutes of discussing who's on which team we were ready to go.
Team Dad:
- Summer
- Kevin
- Matt
- Marilyn
Team Eric:
- Anthony
- Sage
- Devin
- Marc
Anthony was yelling out the signals and Marc snapped the ball back and the game was in full go.
At some point I intercepted the ball and was running towards the touchdown zone with Anthony & Eric on my tail.
"C'mon Tony, use the fact that you're her boyfriend to your advantage" Eric yelled.
"Shut up" I laughed.
"I wouldn't need to if you weren't so slow" Anthony yelled at Eric.
"I've never chased such a tiny running back- aaah" Eric was cut off by Dad tackling him.
"C'mon Sunshine! Just give me the ball" Anthony laughed as he got closer.
"Never" I squealed before lunging towards the chair that marked the touchdown zone.
I guess Anthony had the same idea because he landed on my back and started wrestling me for the ball.
"I already got the touchdown" I yelled in between laughing.
"Really?" Anthony looked up and saw that we were past the chair. "Oh"
"We won!" Dad yelled. "The streak continues!"
"Watch next year!" Eric yelled from the ground.
Anthony sat up and hissed in pain.
"Are you okay?" I asked and furrowed my eyebrows. "Where did those come from?" I lifted his shirt slightly to get view of a bruise on his ribs.
"Just got tackled bad at practice the other day" Anthony shrugged it off.
"Eric didn't say anything" I looked up at him.
"Aw are you worried about me Sunshine?"
"Shut up Anthony" I laughed.
"C'mon let's go get cleaned up" Anthony offered me his hand and I gladly took it. Today was a good day.

Late Night at Lund's
Book 1 - Late Night at Lund's is available for sale on Amazon. Book 2: The Lockwood Quest continues the story! A dental hygienist walks into a bar..... Dental hygienist Isa Chamberlin thought the biggest challenge in her life was getting over a messy breakup, but when she pops into a new neighborhood bar, she finds herself in a different world, one filled with wizards, spells, and monsters. Join Isa as she explores unfamiliar surroundings, uncovers new skills, and learns to level. Magic and monsters, allies and enemies, romance and danger, all of it just on the other side of a simple door. "Wear these bracers with pride.” the half-orc slid first one bracer and then the other over Isa’s forearms. “Fight with your heart,” he said as he pulled the laces tight. “And come back with a story to tell. That is what an adventurer does.” ....... **** Thank you for reading, and if you like the story, please rate and review. Isa and I would both like to level up! This story uses the 5th Edition Open Gaming License for game mechanics. I roll dice for combat outcomes and all skill checks.... which is sometimes surprising! One side note - I don't have a "sexual content" tag on - this is more romance than romp. But that might change!

The Chronicles of Artharian Dagworth
Back in 2020 there were many theories on how the world would end. From the many religions apocalypses, nuclear wars that would leave the planet inhabitable, global warming doing the same, biological weapons getting out of control, viruses mutating into unstoppable diseases to the dead raising to prey on humanity, either due to a virus or just because hell filled up. Also, aliens, from the war mongering kind to the ones so advanced they didn’t see us as more than worms. And of course there was the fail proof theory that the world would end when the sun died. In a bunch of billion years give or take. Althougth some new scientist were discussing if the end would be on the take side, since when the sun started dying things would go haywire on the entire solar system and we would collide with mercury or maybe mars way before the expanding sun engulfed earth. But I digress… Now, those were the mainstream theories that the everyday Joe, who didn’t know the big secret, worried about. So, if you were to ask me which theory was correct I can tell you that I haven’t seen any little green man, at least not from another planet, and so far the sun is still shining, although it’s been only 9 years since everything went to hell, not the few billions (give or take) the scientist predicted, so that one isn’t ruled out yet. These two aside, I'd say all of them. Hey everyone, this is my first attempt at writing. I have been planning to do it for a really long time, and while this is not the one epic fantasy idea I ever wanted to write, I think it's a good one. The plan is to write an end of the world urban-fantasy series. Think a world like Dresden Files, Alex Verus, Iron druid, where magic is real but exist hidden from society meets the apocalypse. It will be written in first person in the Dresden Files style, no plans for other POV for now. As you probally alredy guessed from my style, english is not my first langague, so while google corrector helps, expect grammar errors, and I'd be gratefull for anyone to point them. I plan to write 2 to 3 chapters a week, 2000-4000 words each. Might change as I get more experience and depends on my free time. Cover image from the colections of getwallpapers.com

HUD: Wargame (Sci-Fi GameLit)
★★★★★UNFRIGGENBELIEVABLE!!!!!! "HUD: Wargame is a sci-fi GameLit worth reading." -TienSwitch ★★★★★Rock-solid FPS GameLit. "Nic - the main character - is an ambitious, hyper-competitive perfectionist, and the story fortunately handles him correctly in that it does not push these traits too far." -Akaso ★★★★★This is a good one! "This is one of those stories where you read the first few paragraphs and can just tell that the author has the chops to tell a story. It's engaging and the rules are well thought out and clearly explained. The action is punchy and exciting. Anyway, read it." -HonourRae In the future, everything is a game. Even war. 18-year-old Nic Sigfried wants the high score. Virtually piloting a real-life robot, he'll face off against his peers with the help of his AI guidance system, RTIFIS. The prize? New worlds across the galaxy that are ripe for human conquest and terraforming. It sounds glamorous on paper, but this job might be more dangerous than he thought... HUD: Wargame is the first of a five-part sci-fi series featuring GameLit elements. HUD: Wargame contains some (simulated) violence and very sparing PG-13 profanity. Updates Monday-Thursday-Saturday.
