《Karma (super smash bros)》02| A Party to Remember

Ike drove his navy Jeep up along the driveway that wrapped to the right side of the house, next to the double garage. He parked in his signature spot that was always reserved for him at Roy's parties.
The trio headed inside. As soon as the door opened, the very audible music from outside became almost unbearable from the inside.
The short entryway opened up to a living room on the left and a stairway on the right. Further down the hall was a large kitchen and dining room that was also open to the living room.
Students filled this entire area, drinking and snacking mainly in the kitchen and dancing in the living room.
Peach squealed, running up to a group in the living room with all of their friends. Ike and Zelda followed, with their fingers laced together.
"Hey guys." Zelda said, with a smile at all of her friends. They all replied in forms of hello, a few girls even giving her a hug.
Ike dropped her hand, and moved his arm to around her shoulders. She snuggled into his side, glad that he was so tall and perfect.
"So, what have we missed? I didn't think we were that late, but it's already packed!" Peach said looking around.
"Not much." Daisy answered. Not only was she on the cheer team with Peach and Zelda, but she was also Peach's cousin.
"Well Mia Anderson is already drunk. She's all over Fox." Lynn told them, pointing to a girl drunkenly dancing on Fox.
Zelda grimaced. Mia was yet another member of the cheer squad, and unfortunately fit the cheerleader stereotype of being a complete slut.
Peach just laughed and pulled out her phone to take a quick picture as Mia tried to messily make out with Fox.
"Hey guys! Havin fun?!" Roy asked enthusiastically as he walked up to the group.
"HELL YEAH!" Peach screamed raising one of her arms.
"That's what I like to hear!" Roy yelled back with a wink. "Can I get you guys something to drink?"
"Sure thing." Peach replied. Some of the other girls in the group agreed as well. In fact, only Zelda and Lynn didn't want any alcohol.
"I'll get you some water, okay babe?" Ike suggested in her ear. Zelda nodded, giving him a quick peck. "Thank you."
He sauntered off, high-fiving some jocks on the way to the kitchen.
Peach let out a yelp as Snake came up behind her, slapping her behind. She whipped around.
"Just what do you think you're doing." Peach scolded, taking a step back.
"Nice to see you too, sexyyyy." Snake slurred.
"My god. You're drunk." Peach said, rolling her eyes.
Snake and Peach were together for about six months. Up until a week ago, when they suddenly broke up. Snake had been trying to win Peach back ever since.
"Come dance with meeee." He pleaded, grabbing at her hands and trying to pull her to the dance floor. She quickly slapped his hands away.
"As if." With a huff, she turned her back to him and stalked off towards the kitchen, heels clicking.
Snake looked down at his feet. "Well, a guy can dream." He muttered. Zelda couldn't help, but feel slightly bad for the heart broken boy as he shuffled off elsewhere.
"Poor guy." Daisy commented, feeling the same sympathy Zelda did.

"He's so whipped for Peach." Palutena commented, shaking her head.
"Why did they even break up?" Lynn asked, looking toward Zelda.
Zelda just shrugged her shoulders. "They were just fighting a lot. I think Peach was just kinda tired of it."
"I would be. Who has the time of day to fight with someone 24/7." Daisy commented.
Just then Roy came back, with as much drinks as he could hold and Peach trailing behind him.
The drinks were distributed among the gathered girls, except for Zelda and Lynn who didn't ask for one.
Zelda noticed Peach standing extra close to Roy and giggling at all his jokes. It was obvious that she had a thing for him, but everytime Zelda asked, Peach denied it.
Marth joined the group a few minutes later, sidling up to Lynn. Zelda couldn't help, but think they'd make a cute couple. They were both smart and nice. Plus their odd hair colors.
Speaking of odd hair colors, she was starting to wonder where her blue-haired boy had gotten off to.
"Have you guys seen Ike?" She asked, interrupting a conversation about how stupid the dress code was at school.
"I haven't seen him." Peach replied.
"Funny, he was supposed to be getting me water about 10 minutes ago." Zelda said taking a look around the room.
Peach just shrugged.
"He probably went to the bathroom and got caught up with some friends or something." Roy answered quickly. There seemed to be something like nervousness in his voice. Zelda felt as though he knew something more than he was sharing. She didn't like the thought of that one bit.
Roy tried to be casual, but Zelda noticed as he pulled his phone out and quickly typed something. It seemed like an urgent text. Strange.
Just 30 seconds after Roy sent his suspicious text, Ike emerged from the kitchen with two plastic cups in hand. "Here you are." He said, handing one to Zelda.
Had his hair always been that messy?
"Thanks, what took you so long?" She asked as his arm was wrapped around her shoulders again.
"Uhh, bathroom break and then I got caught up with Mario about something. Sorry, babe." He explained quickly.
"It's alright, I was just wondering." She answered, though she was still suspicious.
"Who wants to play some beer pong?" Roy asked, changing the subject immediately.
"I do!" Ike shouted.
"Me too." Marth added excitedly.
The three boys headed over to the ping pong table. "Let's go watch." Palutena suggested. The other girls agreed, making their way over to the table.
It was Ike and Roy against Marth and Snake, much to Peach's distaste.
As the game began, a somewhat large group of people gathered around the table.
Roy went first, doing a perfect bounce, and landing the ball in one of the other team's glasses. Snake, chugged it down quickly and turned the cup over.
He took a turn, but missed completely. Then it was Ike's turn. He also managed to make it, forcing Marth to drink.
"GO IKE!" A female voice yelled from somewhere in the crowd. Zelda looked around questioningly, it wasn't from any of their friends.
She shook it off, everyone was taking teams. No biggie.
The game went on, Ike and Roy ended up winning, but only by one glass.
"WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS, MY FRIENDSSSS." Roy began to sing loudly, wrapping an arm around Ike.

"BUM, BUM, BUMM." Ike loudly made the sound effects, also putting an arm around his best friend.
"NO TIME FOR LOSERS!" Roy continued.
"BECAUSE WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!" Ike finished, swaying with his friend as they burst into raucous laughter.
They separated as Roy attempted to flirt with a disapproving Palutena, and Ike made his way to his girlfriend.
"Did you see that? We won." He slurred with an almost girly giggle.
"Yes, I did. You still drank a lot though." Zelda replied, obviously not as amused as Ike seemed to be.
"Just a little bit. I'm completely slobber still. I mean sober." Ike said, a small belch escaping his lips.
Zelda just shook her head. "C'mon." She said, pulling one of his arms over her shoulders. She guided him all the way up the stairs and into the nearest bedroom.
She let him fall onto the bed. "I'll go get you some coffee, or something." He grabbed her hand before she could walk away.
"Wait." He said sitting up. Zelda turned back. Suddenly he seemed very serious. He pulled her toward him and began to kiss her passionately.
Within seconds he pulled her onto his lap and the once gentle kiss became heated and aggressive.
He pushed her down onto the bed and began to kiss down her jaw and neck. A hand wandered up her thigh.
"Ike." She said warningly. He paid no heed to her and continued. "Ike, stop." She said again.
"What's wrong baby?" He muttered between kisses. "You're so..hot."
She pushed him forcefully. "Ike, stop. You're drunk."
He sat up, giving her a weird look. "You don't want me?"
"No, it's not that at all. It's just...you're drunk and we're at some party for hell sakes." She explained quickly.
"We've been dating for 10 months and we've done nothing. I mean seriously Zel, we're seniors in high school now." He told her, a hint of anger lacing into his tone.
Zelda just shook her head. "Yes, I know. And I do think it'll happen one day, just not here. Especially not when you're drunk like this."
He just crossed his arms, shaking his head. She stood, giving him a soft peck on the cheek. "I'm gonna go back downstairs."
She left awkwardly. Maybe she was just being stupid about it. They had been together for 10 months, they were both almost 18, and she did love him. Maybe they could tomorrow. She could book a night at a hotel and it would be romantic. Special. Plus, Ike wouldn't be drunk.
She figured he wouldn't be mad for long. He'd probably pout a little longer, then come rejoin the party.
"Where'd you and Ike get off to?" Lynn asked, wiggling her eyebrows suggestively. Zelda let out a small laugh. "Ah. Nothing like that happened. He's just pouting upstairs in the room."
"Why's he pouting?" Samus Aran asked. Zelda hadn't even noticed the blonde girl standing in their group. She didn't usually hang around them, though she was part of the volleyball team with Zelda.
Which wasn't surprising, as Samus played almost every sport available to a girl except cheer. Though, Zelda had heard Samus was very skilled in gymnastics.
All the sports would account for her very fit body, though it didn't really account for her gigantic breasts. The amount of exercise Samus got must burn a lot of fat.
Still though, she was the definition of hot. Long legs, small waist, round butt, and ginormous breasts. Along with long blonde hair, large blue eyes, and full lips. Zelda felt a twinge of annoyance that the attractive girl had even mentioned her boyfriend.
Zelda felt like a piece of coal compared to Samus who was like a shining jewel in a king's crown.
"I wouldn't have sex with him because he's drunk and I just don't do the whole sex at a party scene." Zelda answered, irritably. It wasn't any of Samus' business anyways.
"Oh." Samus answered simply. "Well, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go refill my drink."
Zelda watched as the blonde disappeared into the kitchen.
Conversation continued as normal between the group of girls. To Zelda's small satisfaction, Samus didn't return.
Peach was going on about how Snake was "so annoying" and how "he needed to move on already" though it was pretty clear to everyone that Peach somewhat enjoyed the attention. That being how she was.
Zelda realized it had been about 15 minutes, and no sign of Ike. She excused herself from her friends, and wandered over to where Roy, Marth, and some of Ike's other friends were gathered.
"Have any of you guys seen Ike?" She asked, toward all the group.
"Not since beer pong." Marth answered. "You mean, not since we whooped your ass in beer pong." Roy told Marth with a smirk.
Marth just rolled his eyes. "You'll never let that go, will you?"
"Nope."
Zelda left the group of laughing boys behind her and headed into the kitchen. No sign of Ike.
"Hey Luigi." She greeted the boy dressed in a green t-shirt and dark wash jeans.
"Hey Zelda." He replied, with a warm smile. "Would you like a drink?"
"No thanks. Have you seen Ike in here?" She asked quickly.
The boy shook his head. "Are you two...still together?"
"Of course." Zelda answered. An uncomfortable look obscured Luigi's face making her stomach drop. "Why?"
"It's just that..." His eyes shifted uncomfortably. "You should look for him upstairs.." With that he quickly left the room. That was weird.
Zelda felt her stomach twist with worry. Why had he asked if she and Ike were still together?
She practically jogged through the hall and up the stairs. The room she had left him in now had a closed door.
She took a deep breath, scared what lay beyond the door.
Almost silently, she twisted the knob and pushed the door open.
Kissing noises and moans filled her ears, she was just about to close the door and run when she heard something that physically made her heart hurt.
"Oh Ike.." A girl moaned. Zelda looked toward the bed.
She couldn't contain the small shriek that escaped her lips.
She was just about to turn and run, but it was too late. The two people turned to face her, further confirming her fears.
There was Ike, shirtless and straddling none other than a nude Samus Aran.
Peach was right, this was definitely a party to remember.

Hacking Reality (A teenage Mad Scientist's story.)
Maya Williams was smart. For the first time however, she realized she might be a little too smart. At least if the fact that a gang had kidnapped her was any indication. But that didn’t matter, because she’d show them. She’d show them all!!! Just as soon as the voices in her head could agree on how to get out of this mess. --- Please Note: This is a version of a forum quest I run following a teenage Mad Scientest with heroic tendencies in the same city/setting as my other stories the Huntsman's Quest and Get Ink'd. Meaning that while a majority of the plot is made up by me, the major choices as well as what each chapter is about are usually made by the actual readers in forum votes. Additionally, given how this is essentially a story version of a Tabletop game there is also a background RPG system that while the characters aren't necessarily aware of, the readers can see these stats to know how each chosen 'Action' effects their character's development.

Debut: the day every young gentleperson of age gathers to receive their Spirit Blessing and shift for the first time into their second form. Except for those who don't. Beatrice's worst fear is to be one of the unlucky few trapped perpetually in a human body, cut off from the magic of the spirits and unfit for any respectable pack or pride. But when the time comes to face her fear, the outcome is one she never could have imagined. Be warned, this story is some highly experimental fluff—an unapologetically girly, unrelentingly bisexual, Regency/Victorian-ish fantasy mish-mash. It does have a dark side, though, so don’t come in expecting all sunshine and roses. Worthy of note, given the reputation of shifter stories: there will be no explicit sex in this tale. There will, however, be lots of polyamorous romance, necromancy, portal magic, capricious spirits, elemental mages, an unconventional take on shifters and a highly ordered society built around their existence.
