《Little Rebel》Chapter 21

I woke up the next morning still in Ricky's lap with my legs in Cameron's lap.
Both of them were asleep.
I thought about what happened last night and remembered. Cameron totally broke the promise he made me.
I pulled my feet off of him and curled into a ball against Ricky.
My movement caused Ricky to stir and wake up.
"Oh, hey Jordyn." He said.
"Hi." I mumbled.
"You feeling any better." Ricky asked.
I shrugged. Right now I just felt sort of numb knowing more people knew that embarrassing secret about me.
"You ok?" He asked, furrowing his brow.
Again I just shrugged.
"Want some food?" Ricky asked, getting up.
Which meant I couldn't lean on him anymore.
When he got up, I was still leaning on him, so I just fell onto the couch, face first.
"Not really." I said into the couch.
He just shrugged and walked away.
"Uh, Jordyn?"
I lifted my head up to see Jc, standing there looking at me confused.
"Hi." I said.
Jc shook his head at me and went into the kitchen.
I stayed where I was, curled up in a ball for a while.
When Cameron woke up and went upstairs, I finally got up.
And I was going absolutely crazy.
"Hey Jord." Kian said, as I walked into the kitchen.
I ignored him and grabbed an AriZona and a banana.
Everyone gave me questioning looks, but I just walked out of the kitchen and up to my room.
I got into the shower, blasting Thousand Miles by Tove Lo.
I washed my hair and face and got out.
Putting on my bra and panties, I dried and straightened my hair.
Then I got dressed in my regular black ripped skinny jeans, then put on a black ARMY muscle tank with a black bandeau underneath. Then I added my army jacket over that, rolling up the sleeves and my black combat boots

I put in my contacts then did my makeup, liquid eyeliner in a cat eye, heavy mascara, and black eyeliner on my waterline.
Grabbing my skateboard, phone, and ear buds, I went back downstairs.
Almost everyone was in the living room watching tv.
"I'm going out." I muttered to them, then went out the front door.
I stood on the front porch, picking a song to listen to.
Settling on Lost In Translation by G-Eazy, I went to the sidewalk.
I put my board on the ground and jumped on it, pushing off.
After Jordyn ignored me and went upstairs with her food, I looked at everyone.
"Whats up her ass?" I asked.
Everyone shrugged and went back to what they were doing.
We heard her blast her music as she got in the shower.
"I like this song." Ricky said, dancing.
"Your a freak." I laughed as he started twerking.
We finished eating breakfast and went in the living room. I turned on American Horror Story.
After a while, Jordyn came downstairs, dressed with her skateboard under her arm and muttered that she was going out, then left.
Everyone looked at each other, confused,
"Seriously, why is she being like that?" Jc asked.
I just shrugged. "Who knows, maybe shes on her period or something."
"Ew." Connor scrunched up his nose.
"That's nasty." Nash said.
"You guys are asses."
I jumped, and turned. Totally forgetting Perrie was there.
"Sorry Perrie." I said.
She just rolled her eyes and went back to her phone.
"Do you know why shes like this?" I asked.
"Not really. But I do know that she left without taking her medication." She told me.
"Shit." I said.
"That's bad, right?" Cameron asked.
Everyone looked at Perrie.

She sighed. "Well, it depends."
"What does that mean?" Ricky asked.
"Well, it depends on her mood. But since shes in a bad mood. I'd say not as bad as if she were in a good mood. Because if shes in a good mood, shes happy and hyper. But since she is in a bad mood, she'll just take out all her frustration and energy skateboarding." Perrie told us.
"So, its good shes in a bad mood?" Nash asked.
"Not good. Just easier." She said.
We all nodded.
We waited for a while, until after it got dark for Jordyn to get home.
Connor and Jc had already gone upstairs.
It was just Perrie, Cameron, Ricky, Nash, and I waiting for her.
She finally came in the front door.
Setting her skateboard down on the ground, she went into the kitchen.
We waited for her in the living room in silence.
Once she came in the living room with a bowl of cereal, she jumped and almost dropped the bowl.
"Shit, I didn't know you where here." Jordyn said.
She came to sit by me, but then looked like she remembered something, and sat on the floor across the room.
"Whats with you?" I asked.
"Huh?" She didn't look at me.
"Yeah, whats up? You've been ignoring me and been in a bad mood all day. Well, while you were here." I said.
She just shrugged and slowly ate her food.
"Whats wrong Jord?" Perrie asked.
Jordyn shrugged again.
"Jordyn." Nash sat on the floor next to her and put his arm around her shoulders. "Whats wrong?"
"He knows." She mumbled.
"Who knows what?" Nash asked her.
"Kian." Jordyn said.
"Huh?"
Everyone looked at me.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"You know. And you weren't supposed to." She said into her knees.
"I know what Jord?" I felt like I was talking to a child. But Jordyn is a special one.
"Cameron told you. No one was supposed to find out." Jordyn said.
I finally figured out what she meant. Cameron made an o shape with his mouth.
Nash and Ricky just looked confused, and Perrie looked pissed.
"Again, what?" Ricky asked.
"Jordyn trusted Cameron with a secret and he totally betrayed her and told Kian." Perrie snapped.
She got up and went over to Jordyn. The two of them went upstairs.
"Crap." Cameron said, burying his head in his arms.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
I'm really confused and just need some guy advice. The guy I talked about last chapter, is really confusing me. My friends always tell me they see him staring at me, and they hear him call me hot to his friends and stuff, but he has never talked to me.
And a girl in my grade who I never talk to, came up to me during lunch and asked if we have a thing. And idk if we do. I mean, I like him, and my friend told me one of his friends told her he does like me.
But since he's never talked to me, I don't know. I'm just really confused and it's making me sad.
And tomorrow is the last day of school before Christmas break, so I won't see him for over two weeks.

Luck And Chronomancy
Time Magic is the best magic as everyone knows, although there are lots of unique Talents in the world. Most people only remember Haste because it is hard to get to higher Phases of Chronomancy. That is still enough to make the Talent iconic. A lucky enough Aleatory Talent can position you for greatness or leave you languishing in obscurity. The only true equality in the world is when that glowing message pops up at 8 years old. Even if it doesn't activate until you are an adult at 16 you still know. Sure you can find a new dungeon spawn and get another chance at a rare Talent, even this one, but you have to already be ready to delve into the *Far Wilds*, which is far easier with wealth or family power. This is the story of where my good fortune took me and the difference it made, even among a party of 7 others including an Arcanist. It is a journey of magic and monsters but also math, which some think is actually worse. Luckily I was born with Intelligence and Focus as my personal traits, and my parents were scholars. Of course Chronomancy can also be a frontline combat talent. Versitility well beyond other Elder Talents like Gravity, Abstraction, or Arcana. Might could have worked for me, too. I also met a runaway princess. All the best adventures have a princess. She hated being a noble and we didn't get married but it still counts. Besides she really filled out our front line. All that Leadership training came in handy. I still don't know where she's from. Who cares? How well Haste goes with giant hammers is what's important. I never learned much about anyone in the party, except the one I grew up with. I'm not a people person. I just wanted to optimize dungeon clearing time. *******Story Details******* No romance, politics, or traumatizing content, slice of life, or even dialogue. 1st person narration, like a guide/adventure log. 2000-7000 words a day, maybe 40-60% rpgish combat log with some reasoning on combat decisions, with the rest character Talent discussion and progression stuff. 8 person party with a decent variety in roles. Party members usually have 2 primary functions. Told from the support/control Chronomancer's perspective. Each party member will have 6 Basic/Background Traits, then 3 actual Talents with abilities. Capstone from their Educational Institution, Arbritrary as a gift from the temples, and Aleatory which is decided at birth, revealed at 8, and activated after adulthood at 16. Aleatory Traits ignore requirements and are random why is why they are so important. They'll gain new Talents from finding Dungeons to consume in the *Wilds*. Mature dungeons in cities can provide *Challenges* to raise the Phase of a Talent, up to 3 times from 1 to 4. Each character will get to roughly 8 non-Trait Talents. Attributes come exclusive from Talents, are required by Talents, and provide various effects as well. I designed about 220 Talents with abilities, 4 in each of 4 phases. "Traits" are just Attribute stuff. I'm not sure how many will be detailed in the story, more than 100 for sure. I used Talents because I want to be free of the legacy of tabletop. Half those rules are just because of the limitations inherent in a pre-computer ttrpg. This story mostly uses combat Talents, although like 1/3 of the 220 are for crafting and other society and economy stuff. If you really wanted to be a Thief you might take Intuition, Awarness, and Might for Basic Traits and Deftness, Manipulation, and Trickery for Family/Education. Then you'd pick Acrobatics, and Climbing for Educational Capstone and Arbitrary traits. You Aleatory Trait might be Shadow(Light/Dark) Magic, Umbramancy. A Bard might swap Dexterity for Charisma, Music for Acrobatics, and have gotten Illusion(Shadow/Sound(Air/Force)) for their Aleatory Trait.

An original fiction of the Isekai sort, people being sent to another world. I go back in time and send my whole classroom into the other world, as heroes, it might be overly biased and not make a lot of sense in a few parts, I wrote it in a hurry long ago, so enjoy, 1 chapter per day.
