《Little Rebel》Chapter 23

Ricky and I got to Taco Bell.
We went inside and ordered our food. While we were waiting a few fans came up to us and asked for pictures with Ricky.
"Do you ever get tired of it?" I asked him as we were eating.
"Of what?" He looked at me.
"You know. The fans, I guess. Just the fact that you can't go anywhere without someone interrupting you?" I took a sip of my baja blast.
"Uh, sometimes. But at the same time. They're the ones who make us 'famous' or whatever you want to call it." He said.
"Yeah, I guess. But it would still be annoying to me to have people coming up to me all the time." I said.
"Yeah, but that's because you hate everything." He laughed.
"That's true." I agreed.
"So Perrie is going home next week." Ricky said.
I nodded.
"But your not." He emphasized.
I nodded again.
"Kay good." Ricky nodded.
"Yup." I said.
"Should we get back?" He asked.
"No, lets do something else." I said, not wanting to go back yet.
"Like what?" Ricky sipped his baja blast.
"Lets go to the mall or something." I suggested.
"Kay, yeah. We can go to the Grove." Ricky agreed.
We finished our food and got back in the car.
Ricky started driving to the mall.
"I'm sorry." I randomly said.
"What for?" He asked.
"I don't know why you want me to stay. I'm such a nuisance and I'm making you drive all over the place just because I don't want to see my brother." I sighed.
"Jordyn. You aren't a nuisance. And you're not making me drive all over. I want to. Because I want to spend time with you. I like spending time with you, that's why I want you to stay." Ricky said.

We stopped at a red light and Ricky turned to me.
"You're like the little sister I never had. Yeah, sometimes you can be moody and annoying and stuff, but that's exactly how little sisters are." He said.
I smiled at him.
"Thanks Ricky, I really needed to hear that. And your like the big brother I never had too." I told him.
"But you do have a big brother, Kian." Ricky said as he started to drive again.
"I know. I mean your nice to me." I joked.
"C'mon, Kian's nice." Ricky said.
"Yeah, I know." I said.
"Let's go...SHOPPING." Ricky yelled as we parked.
I laughed and we got out of the car.
The two of us walked around the mall for a couple hours.
We bought a few things every once in a while, but mostly window shopped.
"Are you ready to go back now?" Ricky asked me.
"Yeah, I guess." I sighed.
"Kay." Ricky nodded.
Once we got back to the car, Ricky turned to me.
"Jordyn, it's not good to hide from your problems." He said.
Before I could say anything, he got in the drivers seat and left me standing outside of the car.
I stayed there for a minute, thinking about what he said.
"C'mon Jord." Ricky called.
I shook myself a bit and got in the passengers seat.
We drove back home while blasting music and screaming along to it and getting alot of weird looks.
After we went inside, I went to my room.
Perrie was sitting on my bed, Skyping someone on her laptop.
"Hey." I said.
Perrie jumped, screaming, and slammed the laptop shut.
I looked at her weird.
"Oh, hi Jord." She said, trying to act casual.

"Who were you Skyping?" I asked.
"Huh? I wasn't Skyping anyone.
"Liar." I said, crossing my arms.
She sighed and opened the laptop back up.
I sat down on the bed next to her as she pressed the call button on Skype.
"What was that about?" A hot guy asked her through the computer.
My mouth fell open.
"Oh, hi." He waved.
"Uh, Ashton, this is my best friend Jordyn. Jord, this is Ashton." Perrie said awkwardly.
"Hi." I said quietly.
"Hey." Ashton said.
"I'm gonna go." Perrie said.
"Ok, bye babe." Ashton smiled.
"Bye." She smiled back.
She ended the call, closing the laptop softly this time.
I stared at her.
"What?" Perrie asked.
I didn't say anything, just sat there staring at her.
"Ok, that's my boyfriend." She said.
I gaped at her.
"You didn't tell me?" I asked, kind of hurt.
"No, no, no." She said quickly. "I was going to. I've been meaning to. I promise I was going to tell you."
I raised my eyebrows at her.
"I swear! I was going to. I'm just not sure when." She muttered the last part.
"Kay, awesome. Cool. Thanks." I said.
Then I turned around and left the room.
"Jordyn. I think your over reacting." Perrie called after me.
I'm sure I was. But at the same time I was hurt.
I went downstairs and out the back door.
I sat down and let my legs hang into the pool.
"You ok?"
I turned and saw Kian standing above me.
He sat down next to me as I looked down at my feet in the water.
"Whats wrong?" He asked.
I shrugged.
"Jord. I know somethings wrong. So tell me." Kian said.
"Perrie has a secret boyfriend that she didn't tell me about." I said.
"That's it?" He asked.
"What do you mean, that's it?" I said, getting defensive.
"Well, ok. I know she's your best friend and everything, but she doesn't have to tell you everything." He told me.
I opened my mouth, then closed it again, not knowing what to say.
"You know I'm right." Kian teased, nudging me with his shoulder.
"Shut up." I said, pushing him back.
"But seriously." He said, suddenly serious. "You and Perrie don't need to tell each other every little thing."
"Yeah, I nkow. But I did tell her my biggest secret." I said lowly.
"I know." Kian sighed, putting his arm around me.
I put my head on his shoulder.

Legends of The Wesh: Lochley
The Universe is held together by something. It is an undisputable truth but nobody knows what that something is. People claim that it is connected by The Path of Legends, where Gods traversed trying to find the meaning of their own existence. Others claim that the universe is a Tree, connecting worlds with its extending branches and giving life-bearing fruits to its inhabitants. Several even claimed that the Universe is just a colony of ants, that this universe and the worlds in it are just as insignificant as insects. In one of the Worlds in it, the arrival of someone signaled great changes. Gods will die, Trees will Rot, Insects will burn. Those at the top had fallen and they will upend the worlds trying to claim what was theirs. Those at the bottom have had enough of scraps and they yearned to devour the fruits of the worlds. Those that were innocent and caught in between had no choice but to persist, lest they get erased by the surging tides. Nobody knows where will they end, but everybody knew where they started. They will not be judged, they will not be rebuked, they will not be curbed, they will not be vanquished. The universe is their canvas and it’s time — time to paint their truths upon it. Azrael was born as a prince in the warring world of Ost. Inheriting the title but not its privileges and oppressed by his siblings in every step of his life, he had no choice but to be subservient to their whims until circumstances spiraled him to the abyss, to a new world, and to more agreeable companions. But is he truly free from the past or will it continue to hound him to his new life? Elira had one wish… to be known more than as an offspring of the Great Phasol Family. Talented, hardworking, and stubborn, she struggled to break free from the influence of her family. Everything had been going well in her life but is she strong enough to resist the upheaval and truths of the world? William grew up in an orphanage with nothing to his name. Regaled by various tales of fantasy and greatness by his caretakers, he reached adulthood with the goal of having a legend of his own. Will he make his mark on the world or be forgotten like an ant; crushed by the boot of an unsuspecting traveler. The world of Lochley has been at peace for centuries and its undercurrents are growing restless from waiting… waiting for that spark of opportunity to ignite and swallow the world whole. Some will cause it, some will resist it, and some be drowned by it. Which one will you be?
