Yoongi was sitting in his living room glaring at the door waiting for Haru. "First strike my ass". Yoongi spat. "My... Aren't you tensed". Yoongi turned around.
"How did...". "It's a beautiful day today, why not go for a walk, it's not good to be angry all the time". Haru said. "Yoongi gave Haru a cold look and Haru chuckled. "Yoongi please, you're going to get wrinkles". Haru said. "And it means first strike". Haru smiled.
"You're not...". "I don't appreciate you having your dogs following me Yoongi, so let's avoid doing that next time... I don't want to spread blood, but I will if I must". Haru said. "What are you?". Yoongi asked. "None of your concern". Haru replied. "Where's the wolf?". Yoongi hissed. "Not with you". Haru said.
"You bitch!". Yoongi charged at Haru. "Down". Haru whispered and Yoongi was down on his knees. "The fuck". Yoongi looked at Haru. "Now, I didn't want to be disrespectful like Jackson was in your home, but look what you made me do". Haru said. "Let me go". Yoongi growled. "I'm not touching you, how you you want me to let you go?".
Yoongi glared at Haru and Haru giggled. "And here I thought there would be stronger Alphas this time around". Haru sighs. "Hello Namjoon". Haru said. "How...". "You're not hiding your scent that well". Haru explained. "It's lovely to meet you... And don't worry, he's safe". Haru looked at him. "Yo-you". Namjoon blinks.
"My name isn't you, its Haru". Haru said. "Give him back!". Namjoon yelled. "I don't have him". Haru said. "Liar!". Namjoon tried to grab Haru. "Nam...". "Up". Haru whispered and Namjoon was floating in the air. "Woah!". Namjoon shouted. "Well... Now I just look like a monster". Haru groaned. "Haru! Put him down!". Yoongi shouted.

"I don't have to do such a thing". Haru looked down at Yoongi. "None of this wouldn't have happened if I didn't feel threatened". Haru said. "Now... Should this be strike two? And you really don't want three". Haru said. "N-no". Yoongi said. "Very well". Haru waved a hand and Namjoon was put gently back on the ground.
"You can move now Yoongi". Haru says and looks at Namjoon. "He will return when he wa...". Haru stopped talking and looked towards the window. "Hmm... Looks he just got another chapter". Haru says, confusing the two Alphas. "What are you...". "Forgive me, but something way more important just came up that needs my attention". Haru walked to the door.
"Wait!". Yoongi yelled and Haru looked at him. "Wh-what about the wolf?". Yoongi says in a pledging voice. "Ask him". Haru pointed at Namjoon and left. Yoongi looked at Namjoon with his heart beating in his chest. "Wh-what? I don't what he's...". "His name". Yoongi said. "What?". Namjoon said.
"What's the boy's name?".

Mortis Operandi 1- New Hire
Thank you for reading, I have to start with that. The feedback and encouragement from RoyalRoad users helped me finish my book. I left the unedited version up as I worked on editing and making it a little more polished. However the time has come for me to put it on Amazon and hopefully let other people read the story. If you have Kindle unlimited you should be able to read the story there. If you just want to order an ebook version you can do that as well. I should have a paperback version coming up. https://www.royalroad.com/amazon/B07T46B4NM Again thank you for reading and helping me on this journey. It hasn't ended however, my second book which I'm hoping to do well enough that reading the first isn't completely necessary, is still being worked on here, https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/24562/mortis-operandi-2--terms-and-conditions . Any feedback, comments, even critism is welcome as I work on giving you the best version of my story. I'll leave the first two chapters up here, unless Amazon says otherwise. There should be enough differences to avoid issues though. THANK YOU! Thank you! thank you! __________________________________ Adventurers enter dungeons every day. Battling evil monsters, defying dangerous terrain, triumphing over devious traps... ... but none of them ever ask why? That arrow trap, who reloads it? The pitfall trap, who cleans out the bodies and sharpens the spikes? What if the grates get clogged, where will the blood and gore drain? When you are trying to study ancient lore or plan on conquering a kingdom, you don't want to worry about all that. You just want peace. Mortis Operandi is a different kind of company. One that celebrates diversity. One that celebrates value in individuals. With flexible pay and plenty of advancement opportunities, it is a company that knows its workers are it's most valuable asset. As they design, build, and install traps, rooms, obstacles, and repair they are a one stop shop. When a possible recall sets events into motion, the company must pivot in a new paradigm of full circle Dungeon service. The Goblin Eft No-toes has a solution that entwines ex-adventurer Elric into the business of death. *Note the above statements are forward looking statements. In no way do they promote or suggest that Mortis Operandi will project greater sales or revenue. Understand that investing in a company does involve some risks, and possibly much rewards.

The Destiny Detour
In a kingdom putting together the pieces after a series of devastating magical wars, trouble is brewing. At least that's what the Seer's vague warning to Princess Lillya claims. That warning sends young Sorceress Rosaliy and enigmatic ruffian Drake from one end of the world to the other searching for answers (and lost magical children). The Destiny Detour is third in the Black Pearl Series, but the events of this story occur 10 years after the first two, and it focuses on different characters in the world. It should be able to stand alone. If you are interested, the beginning of the series is available on Amazon and most e-book places: https://www.royalroad.com/amazon/B01AYLLKK8

A Litrpg apocalypse
Join Aya as her world will be changed forever by the advance of a so-called System and where she will need to keep herself and the ones she cares about safe when the world goes to a different kind of hell than it was already heading to! The story will feature a stubborn and sometimes just plain weird female MC and those she cares about. Edit 02-03-22First mini arc is completed, am working on the second part. Note: this is my first time writing a Litrpg and the second time I tried to write a story which contains more than a few pages. So please bear with me and feel free to offer suggestions, positive criticism, and the like in the comments. A note’s note: the Litrpg part will be, especially in the beginning, slow going. While I like to think this story is going to be a Litrpg, it will not focus heavily on the mechanics. And finally, a note-like note of a note: English is not my native language and only me, myself and Word grammar check have looked at the text. If you see a horrible affront to the English language, please let me know. Enjoy!
