"Mmm". I felt the sun shining on my face and I opened my eyes. "WOO!". All of my friends jumped on me all at once. "Y'all some heavy ass bitches! Get off me!". I yelled. "WE MISSED YOU!". They all cried out but Hyun. "Glad you feel better". Hyun said. "Stop being heartless". Hani hissed. "How was that heartless?". Hyun asked. "The way you said it". Ran says. "This is how I speak". Hyun yawned.
"How the hell did you even get home!?!". Moon yelled. "I... Don't know". I told her sitting up and got pushed down by Jeni. "Rest some more". Jeni says. "I'm good really". I said. "Jeni gave me a dark stare. "Laying down now". I tucked myself in. "Good boy". Jeni pats my head. "In all seriousness... What's wrong with you?". Daeho asked.
I covered my eyes with my arm and sighed. "I'm a God wolf". I said and it quiet in the room. "Bitch, we know that already". Hani said. "What?". I turned to her. "Who told y'all?". I asked. "Your bloodline told us". Ran said. "That makes no...". "Your mother's hair is purple". Moon said. "Ok? So?". I said. "White, sky blue, purple and rose gold are God wolves natural hair colors". Jeni said.
"It is!?!". I jumped up. "My god... Do you daydream all the time in school?". Daeho smacks my head. "Bu-but grandma...". "Hair color is rose gold".
"Mom!". Ran smiled. "Ran". Haru says. "Can I get a better reaction then that?". Ran pouted and Haru laughs. Haru kissed Ran's head. "Better?". Haru said. "Yup!". Ran grins. "I love your skin Auntie Haru". Moon said. "Hmm". Haru hums and looks at me. "Your grandmother dyed her hair years ago". Haru said. "Really?". I tilted my head. "Blond looks nice on her". I said.

"Can't see him with white hair". Hyun says and everyone agrees with him. "I can dye i...". "I made sure you couldn't". Haru smirks. "I hate you". I rolled my eyes. "I brought him here, so you all didn't have to worry".
"We were still worried!". My friends shouted. "What's wrong with him?". Hani asked. "He's rejecting his God wolf side... Like a moron". Haru hits me in my head. "I don't want it". I said. "The pain is only going to get worst". Haru told me. "Accept it you dick! You might die!". Moon yells. "Charming". Haru giggles. "Eh?". Moon looks at Haru.
"Joowon is eternal".

The Runners of Westal
Anya Vorian wasn't picky. She'd take any apprenticeship that came her way. She, Lori and Andrew had prepared all winter for the interviews, but when only one offer came with her name on it, she suddenly wasn't so sure that she could do it. It was hard work, for one thing. In short, runners were odd folk. Maybe it was time to get fast. - A first-person tale inspired by long distance running.
