It looked like he was deep in thought. Just then, he and P.T Barnun (our circus ringmaster) came up to my siblings and I. "There you are! I want to introduce you to my newest hire, Phillip Carlyle." "Mr Carlyle, the man who caught me in the performance!" Wow, now I know his name! Great, now W.D's looking at me all strange!
"Come on guys, we need to practice!" said W.D while dragging me and Anne away, also shooting Phillip one last, dirty look. "Well, bye, Phillip!" I said before he disappeared around the corner and from my view.
After 'practice', which was really a pep-talk and a few simple swings on the rope, I was just about to head to my dressing room to get ready for our next show when Anne came up an said, straight to my face, "You're crushing on Carlyle." and just WALKED away! Damn, why does Anne have to be so SASSY?!

The Galactic Internet is a system takeover LitRPG with two MC's. It's gritty and dark at times, so I'd like to start with a brief warning. The story was made for adults, and as such contains some cursing, potentially traumatizing violence, gore, indentured servitudes. There is no sexually explicit material in the first book. However, there is nudity and sexual interactions aren't out of the scope of possibilities for later in the story. The first book is almost exclusively trying to figure out how the game works and trying to stay alive. It is a very open system that I've implemented. When he came out of his room, no one recognized that he was the Demon King as he always used a puppet. His subordinates didn't know that he was the Demon King they followed. Concealing his true identity to his followers, he soon realized the current life they've had after he left. A new chapter unfolds as he experiences the new world around him. -- Warning -- English is my second language, so if you found something not right, please kindly point them out. This story will be quite long that even some mysteries won't be solve right away, and why the hell it happened in the first place. The fact that characters in this story have different POV about the mysteries happening in the story doesnt always mean their hunches are right.
