《Creating a world can't be that difficult, right?》Chapter 163

The two fighters looked at each other while trying to measure the other's strength. It was clear that both would use most of their power in the next exchanges, so neither wanted to commit a mistake that would cost their lives.
Grabbing the weapon with his right hand, Kerah saw his blade coated with a dense layer of corruption. At the same time, on his left palm appeared a small black flame before he closed his hand, extinguishing it.
At the same time, while Eisen's eyes had begun to shine with crimson light, his katana was doing the same.
Not only that, but Kerah could sense a feeling of danger coming from his enemy's weapon.
It was clear that he would end up pretty badly if Eisen managed to land a hit on him. Because of this, Kerah decided to take the initiative and attack his enemy.
After dashing forward, he slashed three times toward the armored man, who gently parried each of the attacks. Seeing his offensive fail, Kerah opened his left hand, making a black flare appear from it and fly toward Eisen.
Finding himself in danger, Eisen bit his own lips until blood flowed out of the wound. In less than a second, enough blood to bleed out a grown man came out of his body to create a shield that protected him from Kerah's flames. After the fire was extinguished, the blood flowed back into Eisen's body as if nothing had happened.
Seeing that, Kerah couldn't help but drop his maw.
'What the hell is this guy? And why is it so difficult to kill?' Kerah thought. 'I'm going to need to neutralize his regenerative and defensive capacities somehow if I want to win this fight.'
But before he could do anything, Eisen began to attack him with all his might. Swing after swing, he forced Kerah to evade each of his attacks, not letting him take the initiative again.

The battle continued like that for the next few minutes before Eisen finally managed to make a small cut on Kerah's arm. Even though it wasn't too deep, blood with purple tones flowed out of it at high speed.
With each second, Kerah's face became paler because of the blood loss, while at the same time, Eisen's looked even better than before they started fighting.
But there was something that looked weird to Eisen, and it was Kerah's smile. For some reason, his enemy had a smile on his face since he managed to cut his arm.
"What makes you so happy? Could it be that you have finally accepted death?" Eisen asked with a smile.
After hearing that, Kerah couldn't help but burst into laughter.
"Haven't you realized it yet? I have polluted my blood. You are fucking killing yourself by absorbing it." Kerah said before snapping his fingers.
As if reacting to that sign, Kerah's blood turned completely purple, even the one Eisen had already absorbed into his body, making his veins change color.
When this happened, Eisen began to scream in pain.
"You thought you could steal from me, but that will end up being your final mistake!" he shouted as he began to hit him with his weapon.
Swing after swing, Kerah began to wound his enemy with each of his movements while taking advantage of his condition.
Eisen did his best to recover and heal from his injuries, but each time he tried, the corruption inside his blood activated, dealing even more damage to his body.
Suddenly, he found himself completely outmatched by his rival.
One more time, Kerah opened his left hand, and a black flare erupted from it. The flames burned into Eisen's flesh as he couldn't summon his blood shield again.

When he was not much more than a burned corpse, Kerah used his blade to chop off his enemy's head, finishing the battle immediately.
He looked around the blue tunnel, and after identifying a pool of his enemy's blood on the floor, he knelt close to it and soaked his hand in it. With his hand covered in red, he drew a symbol on the ground before cutting his own hand to let his blood mix with the one on the floor.
"This offering is for you, oh mighty lord," he murmured as purple light began to emanate from the symbol.

Essentia Animus
Second Book of the Soul - Celesi Veil Trilogy When the living essence of three girls are put at risk, giving room for a second essence within themselves, even their hyper developed fantasy world might not be enough to contain their new found ambitions. Another story of another world, these three girls must adapt to their new essence, all while each is left to question if they are truly still even alive. While this story is a sequel of the previous story in the trillogy, it is also fully capable of standing alone in its own light, taking place in a distant corner of a Celese returning readers will be otherwise incapable of recognizing. However, the events of the story are a spoiler for the previous book, in case that matters to anyone. This story takes place over two centuries after the events of Vitae Memorandum, when Celese had developed into an advanced world, improved to a point that it is much like modern-day Earth while still using the gift instead of technology. The Aethyx languages are still present in this book, and even English still exists in the world after the events of the previous book, but are much less of a focus after the same closing events of the previous book. What is instead important is how the ending events of the previous book had resulted in the start of the Instrumentation Era, and exactly how the gift translates in a modern-day sense. While this book is still effectively a fantasy world of its own kind of magic, it isn’t the classical medieval scene that would be typical for such a story. The laws of science still do not exist in Celese, but that didn’t stop it from developing into something that looks similar enough. Earth itself still remains present on the other side of the veil, and its previous exposure continues to shape and advance Celese into the world it has become. This story contains scenes exibiting mania and similar dark themes, as it goes to great length to explore concepts of life and death. While the degree of such themes should not be considered to be as serious compared to matters such as actual horror, the psychological depth is still siginifcant enough to be potentially concerning for people sensitive to matters of this nature, such as any individuals with concerns questioning matters of suicide, mental harm, or a variety of emotional injuries. While none of these subjects actually occur in the story, readers who are currently troubled by such matters may find themselves considering old wounds if they are especially capable of empathy while reading, which could lead to furthered emotional or mental stress. Readers with a high capacity for empathy may find themselves troubled by concerns regarding any potential lack of mental/emotional control as well as considerations regarding the meaning of death. Readers who appreciate subtle dark themes in a story may instead find this to be an interesting twist of the same idea.
