Three years later

Xu Fan took a deep breath as he continued fighting the beasts in front of him, ignoring the hellscape of dead and mangled bodies around him.

The sound of a horn could be heard from the distance, hearing this, Xu fan began slowly retreating to the city alongside what remained of the defense force.

"Hopefully we can make them retreat," thought Xu Fan as he looked at the number of cultivator's around him.

He then sighed, before the battle there over ten thousand cultivators gathered as to defend the frontline, right now that number had dropped to three thousand.

Three days later

Seeing a dozen people gathered on the city wall, Xu Fan went to see what was happening, after taking a look beyond the city wall, Xu Fan began running at his fastest speed in the opposite direction.

Even as he got further and further away from the city with his Foundation Establishment cultivation base, Xu Fan did not stop in the slightest.

From the city wall, It seemed as if both the Earth and the Sky were filled with an enourmous number of beasts, even as Xu Fan looked in either direction he could not see the end of the beasts.

Three months later

At this time, a council meeting was taking place.

Nine old-looking people were sitting around a table.

"These beasts are too much of a threat," said Duan Xiaowen as he looked at the report.

"I propose asking for ancestor's opinion," said Shen Weimin after a few minutes.

Hearing this, all the other people at the table fell into deep thought and also let out their opinions.

"I agree, It's best to not let things go out of control," said Duan Xiaowen.

After discussing several other topics, the meeting ended and the participants traveled back to their sects at fast speed.

Looking at the prosperous land and the countless people living below him below him Shen Weimin sighed and began flying at an even faster speed, he would not let the mortals die.

After a few more hours of travel, Shen Weimin arrived at the mountain that was the headquarters of the Flying Sword Sect.

As he arrived at the sect, a middle-aged man welcomed his arrival.

"Elder Shen, what was the result of the meeting?" asked the middle-aged man.

"The council has decided on awakening the ancestors," said Shen Weimin in a hurry, as he wanted things to progress as fast as possible.

Hearing this, the middle-aged man nodded and let Shen Wimin pass, letting him enter the sect.

Shen Weimin then hastily flew over to one of the peaks of the sect, upon arriving on the peak, he walked to a small wooden house.

"Disciple Shen asks the ancestors for help," said Shen Weiming as he bowed.

The moment he said that, four spiritual senses exited from the wooden house and scoured the entire sect.

"Enter," said an ancient voice.

One month later

Cultivators from the entirety of the world gathered as the Nine Sects declared this spiritual beast wave a major threat.

Over fifty thousand Soul Enlightenment cultivators gathered in a force of strength that has not been seen in ten thousand years.

While some of them had ulterior motives, most of the cultivators, were fighting so as to not be defeated by the beasts.

The army then began traveling toward the territory of the former Spirit Empire.

Outside of the world

Several beings were gathered together at a table.

A shadowy figure appeared and knelt down in front of the beings.

"The Sword sharpening plan is progressing accordingly I presume," asked a voice, It seemed as if the originator of the voice was rapidly switching genders.

"Yes, it has even gone beyond our expectations, things are progressing very well," said the kneeling figure.

"I see," mumbled the figure.

It then looked towards the other beings at the table.

"I suppose you will accept putting more resources into this plan," said the androgynous voice.

After a few moments, the other beings nodded.

The androgynous being then looked towards the kneeling figure.

"Be as cautious as possible, do not take risks, this plan must absolutely not be discovered by it."

"I understand," said the kneeling figure before disappearing.

"Will the Heavenly Dao not restrict it even if it doesn't know this is our plan," asked another being.

Hearing this, the androgynous being let out a laugh.

"That is also part of the plan," said the being.

Hearing this, the other figure frowned, because of their cautiousness, only the one creating it has full knowledge of an entire plan.

"Don't worry, I'm really confident in myself," said the figure with a smile.

After a few more moments, all the other beings departed leaving only the androgynous figure here.

"A few more million years," mumbled the androgynous figure.

Hongjun frowned, looking at the androgynous figure in front of him, he could not see it's fate line, it was if it didn't exist.

A few moments later, Hongjun stopped using her spiritual sense to look through the lower dimension.

Jusr as the androgynous figure wanted to leave, It let out a smile.

"Hongjun, you still love snooping around," it then seemed to look through both space and time.

Xu Yue was standing in the sky, looking at the destruction below.

"This is probably enough to get the cultivator's of this world to throw everything against me," mumbled Xu Yue with a smile on her face.

It seemed as if the prospect of facing the wrath of an entire world exited Xu Yue to no end.

"Hopefully they have some accumulation at least," mumbled Xu Yue.
