《Alexander Creed: Re-Life》Chapter 246: Grandly Stand Out
Advertisement
Usually, when two boss-level figures are speaking quite vaguely about some "operation" and "theoretical model", they are mostly perceived to be discussing some huge exploits that are exclusive and of great importance to themselves.
Old Creed and young Creed are the Creed boss and little boss respectively... and they are somewhat speaking vaguely about something...
Thus, two boss-level figures... speaking somewhat vaguely to each other. Didn't they fit the stigma quite well?
It makes sense to assume that they'll be plotting something big... and it would most likely be involving the family business that they have.
This grandfather-grandson duo is mostly about their business, after all.
With that though... questions arise...
Was their plot going to be big? Is it going to involve the gray areas of business and even be considered to be a dark side of the business?
Is it going to shake up the industries they are a part of? Or is it just the usual weirdness that the both of them usually do from time to time? It is mostly Old Sullivan's eccentricities that fit in this category though.
These kinds of questions come to mind... but they are quite far off...
------
Everything that the Creed duo has been plotting for would eventually become clear after a series of events though.
To start things off... a new day for new comic books did arrive for comic book fans and the retailers that sell them.
This was a day where people are up to experience surprise from a fresh story... or experience relief from knowing what happens next after what they had just read the last week!
Of course, it was also a day for them to experience regret again... as they had to wait again for the next scheduled update of the very comic books they have just been up to date about.
This was the norm of emotions that comic book readers and aficionados go through... and Creed Comics play no small part in all of it!
Dragonball and Teenage Mutant Ninja's first arcs are coming to a close and they are all for it.
The adventure of ThunderCats throughout Third Earth has become more expansive... that such a fantastical world might truly exist somewhere or at some time.

RoboCop's battle through the ethics of extreme robotics and the mess of law enforcement has become a deep and innovative look into such a compelling character.
The Cybertronian Chronicles and their soiree on Earth have become an interesting affair as well... with most of the story nearing its end for the Charlie story and expanding to many impressive and grander battles about whose Cybertronian ideology is better.
There's JoJo's Bizarre Adventure with Phantom Blood becoming way much more than a compelling drama... it became a bit more bizarre and mesmerizing than how it was mistakenly perceived to just be a 'Phantom of the Opera' reimagining. Seriously... the one who proposed that 'Phantom of the Opera' theory seems to have just wasted their time!
Watchmen has a spot of its own... with literary critics using the story and its characters as the comprehensive and dark mirror to the hero archetype. Despite its limited number of issues... there was no doubt that it would be raking accolades in the hearts of comic book awarders and comic book aficionados alike!
Then, there's the fresh Ace Attorney at the end... with a very innovative take on the comic book storytelling with regards to the justice system.
Before, it was mostly Daredevil and She-Hulk and all about binding superheroes and villains to the established justice system. For Phoenix Wright... it's the little people that matter and every released issue has given its readers a pretty eye-opening view of how the system works.
Of course, there is still Predator and 'A Mysterious Feeling Called Love' to be included in this list... but they've mostly been sequestered to the backburner due to their releases already passing much relevancy.
Anyhows, it was quite impressive how compressive and well-structured these long-running titles and stories are... and how they relate to one company and one creator.
Creed Comics and Alexander Creed really take the cake for all that they've brought to the comic book industry.
It's a shame that they've been thwarted and had been stagnant in fresh titles due to all the trouble that people accused Creed out of nowhere.
Anyways... these were mostly the selection of titles that comic book buyers look out for during this new comic book day...
At least... those were their expectations...

Oh... how wrong were they... when they found out a new title on the shelves!
That new title also had the well-known 'Creed Comics' and 'Created by Alexander Creed' to it!
The signature stylish cover title was also apparent... as a cool-jacketed teen looked to his wristwatch in shock while a DeLorean was right beside him and exuded an inexplicably futuristic ambiance...
A stylized title that said 'Back to the Future' can be read, so things were finally piecing together!
Of course, things became somewhat confusing for the up-ended comic book buyers as well.
Creed Comics has a new addition to its roster! This was exciting news... but does this also mean that they had finally gotten rid of the annoying legal hecklers?
Back to the Future! Why was this title so familiar? Wasn't this the movie that moviegoers were buzzing about?
How does it connect to Creed Comics and Alexander Creed? Were they given the license to make its comic book or was it the other way round with the movie having to license from an unpublished Creed title?
Does this published issue also spoil the plot for the film? If so... was there going to be another controversy about it?
Questions popped up in the minds of these unsuspecting peeps that were just expecting to snag a new comic book...
Granted, they did grab hold of the Back to the Future comic book as they could! After all, it was a new comic book and these things tend to be more interesting... especially so when Creed Comics is involved!
They also flipped their pages as they can... and what they read and how they react to it is the very thing that the boss-level Creeds want to find out...
-----
As for what the two Creed are vaguely convening about... it truly wasn't anything revolutionary.
It just pertains to rousing audiences and bolstering Back to the Future's theatrical run!
A standard move by any other film production company... and has probably been done by the Majors and veteran film studios a thousand times now.
Publicity, staged propaganda, and gimmicks. These things are what audience-rousing is all about... and in turn, their released films would get some needed momentum.
A truly standard move regularly used and perhaps already overdone by a standard film company.
Was Creed Pictures going to be content with being considered amongst these standard film companies though?
Well... that was what the Creed duo were going to find out!
With Back to the Future comic books being introduced to the comic book industry... what impact would it have on the comic book readers and how would it affect the still-theatrically running film?
Would the comic book be a boon or a bane to the film? Either way, there should be some noticeable impact on BttF's second box office week that the Creeds could get some semblance of data from!
In essence, the BttF comic book and the 2 film were about to be conjoined in some way and there were bound to be some insights to gain from it.
------
Of course, testing things out aren't the only things that the Creed bosses are getting from these little "operation" and "theoretical model" of their's.
Ultimately... it also had the intention to tie in Creed Pictures to the Creed brand as well.
Creed Comics and Creed Toys was a cooperative success and interlocking the currently standalone Creed film company to it should be the next logical thing to go for!
A very methodic way of going about the franchise and brand plan that Alexander was pining for ever since he wanted to help his grandfather out and ever since he started this re-life career of plundering!
Despite the uncontrolled attempt through Creed Costume being a pretty considerable low... Old Sullivan and Alexander always valued their synergistic business model.
With comic books and toys... and adding films to the mix... everything should come full circle!
Creed Pictures may not be able to escape the label of being a standard film company with the same standard tricks and standard processes... however, it is just a part of Creed Entertainment and Creed Entertainment was a different beast on its own!
With a comprehensive and synergistic model, every aligned Creed business beneath it has a chance to stand out against all else!
This was the grand plot, operation, and model of the Creeds... and it was grand indeed!

Cinder Roots (Undergoing a Rewrite)
This novel is currently undergoing a major rewrite, as I noticed several plot points that needed to be revamped. I'll leave the chapters I've posted here to anyone curious to see how everything started, but I'll be posting the rewritten story as a new novel in the future. The characters will be the same, but the journey will be more understandable and hopefully, a lot more fun to read. -------- First, everything was fire, it killed, it consumed, and it gave him life. He was just a tree, born in the biggest forest that remained in the world, full of dryads, naiads, elves and treants, but he was alone. He couldn’t see. He couldn’t talk. Curiosity plagued him. He dreamed of wandering the land, but could only wonder what stood outside the reach of his roots. The tree was tired of waiting. He decided to not just dream, but to act. How could he survive against a invading empire, a grand conspiracy that threatened to shake the foundations of the world, and the raw danger that lies within these woods? With pure determination. Warning - There are quite a few POV changes in the first chapters, but that'll change after the introduction is done, as I'll be focusing on the MC perspective only.
