《The Adventurer's Academy》Spirit Orchestra, Part Two

{Rin}
"Today, we're going to be focusing, once again, on which monsters you can hunt for food," Cara told the class as she paced from one side of the classroom to another. "Which parts of their bodies you can eat, and where you can find them. I will remind you that, naturally, most monsters aren't edible, of course, but a few beast-type monsters are similar enough to regular animals that they can be hunted for this purpose. The only issue with them is that, because they are monsters, they will give you more trouble than normal animals. If you can get the job done and take them down, however, you might have enough food for the next couple of days if you play your cards right."
In what was a far cry from the first few weeks of class, all of the students had their eyes firmly on either their teacher or their notebooks as they scribbled whatever she had to say, and no one was saying a word unless it was part of a question for Cara. All but one. Eve, who sat to Rin's left, wasn't paying much attention. Additionally, she noticed that her eyes would wander over to Rin herself every now and then before looking away. During one such moment, Eve let out a long sigh, pouting a little.
[Is something wrong?] Rin wondered for a moment, slightly worried before she focused back on what her teacher was saying.
"The most commonly hunted monsters are yarikos," Cara stated. "You can pretty much treat them like overgrown chickens if you want. You've probably had some yariko legs at some point, or ribs, so, I'm sure you don't need me to go into much detail about those things. But," Cara added, "another commonly hunted monster is one that you don't find in too many restaurants around here. Chargers. If you remove the spines, carefully, right, you'll end up with enough meat to feed a three-man squad for at least two days."
As Cara went on, Rin decided she would pull Eve aside to ask about her strange attitude. One thing Rin hoped was that it wouldn't have anything to do with Xhez. Being a fairy, the group had assessed that she would probably be open to hearing about the girl's nature, but maybe they had been too optimistic.
By the time the class was done, Rin was tugging on Eve's right arm. The fairy glanced over at her and Rin asked:
"Can I talk to you for a sec?"
"... Mhm," Eve replied quietly. They moved away from the others, and outside in the halls, Rin asked:
"Um... Is everything alright?"
"..." Eve looked away, though not before Rin could notice a slight hint of annoyance on her face. When she saw that, Rin swallowed and then asked:
"Is it about Xhez?"
She asked as quietly as she could, so as to avoid having some teacher walking by randomly hear her. As soon as those words came out from her lips, though, Eve nodded. Then, she turned toward Rin, looking into her eyes.
"... Why didn't you tell me sooner?" Eve asked.
Rin blinked.
For some reason, that hadn't been a question she had expected. However, now that Eve had posed the question her eyes didn't stray from Rin's again. It was Rin's turn to turn away.
"W-What do you mean?" Rin asked.
Eve flew in front of her, preventing Rin from avoiding those colorful, slightly mad eyes.
"Did you tell Elisa about her on that trip too?" Eve asked.

The blonde being brought up really caught Rin off-guard. This question was more manageable than the first one, though, so Rin quickly shook her head and replied:
"No, she's known for a while."
"Okay," Eve replied, raising her volume just a bit, "so, why didn't you tell me sooner?"
She asked that question again and, when she did, the issue finally made itself known to Rin.
"W-Wait," Rin said, bringing her hands up defensively. "Eve, Elisa's my roommate. I wasn't going to be able to keep Xhez out of her sight for that long, so, yeah, of course, she was going to be one of the first people I told about this."
"And you couldn't have let me know before that? I mean, what if Elisa freaked out? I could have helped."
"It's not really that easy to just go up to anyone and be like 'hey, I have a literal water sprite living in a little bag in my room'. But, look," Rin said, taking a step forward, "you heard us on the train. We were planning on telling you anyway, it was just a matter of finding the right moment."
When Eve heard that, whatever the fairy was feeling seemed to diminish just a little. Noticing that, Rin continued.
"You're the first friend I made in this place," Rin told her. "If what you're worried about is that I don't trust you, or whatever, I can pretty safely tell you that's not the case, alright? It's just... It was hard to find the right time. Especially with all of our classes, the prep for every mission, all of this stuff, you know?"
Eve looked up at Rin, then. Their eyes met and the fairy quickly looked away before saying:
"... Alright," she told Rin with a nod. "I just... Yeah, sorry," Eve added, shaking her head and giving an awkward chuckle. "I... I don't know."
Seeing that the fairy calmed down, Rin breathed a sigh of relief.
"If anything else happens, you'll be the first to hear about it," Rin told her with a smile. "Trust me."

{Xhez}
"So," Rin asked, as Xhez finished reading. "What's the letter about?"
The sprite sighed to herself as Elisa crossed her legs on the opposite bed. Both the girls' eyes were on her as she said:
"She wishes to see me again," Xhez explained as she put the letter away, her hands leaving some wet prints on top of it. "Before her concert."
"Well, shit. Nice," Elisa told Xhez with a smile that the sprite did not return. When she noticed that she asked, "is that not a good thing?"
"It is," Xhez quickly responded. "But, the last time we saw each other... What if that happens again? I still do not know what it was that canceled my illusion. And, if it happens again, well, last time I was able to respond in time, but, if I am not able to do so this time, how would she react to seeing me for who I actually am?"
Her concerns were bitter things to think about, but necessary. As much as Xhez desired to throw herself into June's warm embrace once more, she felt she had to gain some sort of understanding with regard to this issue first before she could do that.
"Okay, so, run us through it again. What exactly happened?" Elisa asked.
Xhez nodded and closed her eyes, as she remembered the event clearly.

"While we were in her room," she began to say, "we were about to do- no, have sex, right? And, at one point, she went between my legs and began licking me in this spot," she pointed directly at it, making it abundantly clear what she was talking about, "and, I felt great, but, eventually, it just... My illusion simply gave out as something... happened inside of me."
Elisa blinked.
"Oh..." She said, dragging the vowel out. "You were about to cum."
"I... To her hotel? No, we had already arrived," Xhez clarified.
For some reason, that got a laugh out of Elisa. The blonde shook her head, the corners of her eyes crinkling as she looked back at the sprite. She then stated:
"I mean, you were about to have an orgasm."
"... Or...gasm?" Xhez asked, tilting her head. "I do not think I have heard that word before."
A grin appeared on Elisa's face as she glanced at Rin, who simply shrugged.
"You know, sometimes it's easy to forget this 'little sister' thing is a lie."
"Um... Why?"
Xhez looked back and forth between them, her confusion mounting before Elisa clapped her hands together.
"Anyway, look," Elisa began to explain, "when you have sex, sometimes you, uh, have so much fun that your body... It's hard to describe," Elisa said, letting out a low chuckle.
"It's... the sort of thing you have to experience to really capture, but, basically," Rin said, making Xhez turn toward her, "what you were about to do was have an orgasm."
"It felt great," Xhez noted.
"It does, but, if that was what took your illusion away, then, it might be the case that your orgasms have something to do with your Essence," she stated. "Your Spirit."
"... And," Xhez said quietly, looking down at her own body, "this happens anytime a person has sex?"
"I wish," Elisa replied quickly. "It doesn't always happen, specifically if the person you're doing it with is bad at it, but, with you... Well," she straightened up and crossed her arms, "I'd guess you're just really pent up. So, it happened really fast for you."
"But," Xhez shook her head, "are you saying that I can't have sex with a person without having this happen?"
That question made both of the other women in the room think for a moment. If that was indeed the case, then Xhez would be severely disappointed, as she hoped that if she got to see June again, they would be able to pick up where they'd left off immediately.
Eventually, Rin muttered:
"Well... I guess the easiest way to check would be..."
"Yeah," Elisa said with a nod before Rin could finish. "I was thinking the same thing."
"What do you mean?" Xhez asked.
"You... You could just masturbate and see what happens."
"Mastur...bate?" Xhez arched a brow.
"Or, wait-" Rin then thought of something else and said, "you could... You could see through my memories again. You said that you can feel whatever I feel, right?"
"Yes, but, when it comes to this... It is very different to feel it myself rather than seeing it in your memories."
"Oh. Then... Yeah," Rin sighed. "We might need to have you do that."
---
And so, a few minutes later, Xhez was alone in the room, as Elisa and Rin decided that it would be best to give her some privacy. Xhez disagreed, as she didn't really care whether they looked at her while she did this. If anything, she would prefer that, so they could let her know if she was doing it correctly. However, they felt differently, so, after Xhez cast her Illusion spell, they walked out of the room and closed the door behind them, leaving Xhez on her own, naked, sitting atop Rin's bed.
"Alright," Xhez said to herself, looking down at her human-like hands. "Rin said I had to..."
The raven-haired girl's instructions were fresh in her mind, and Xhez did as she instructed. First, she spread her legs a bit before then lifting her finger up to her lips and moistening it more than it already was. Xhez's heart beat a little faster during these long seconds. The room felt hotter than normal, and, as Xhez's fingers reached down to graze the area Rin had told her to touch, Xhez's skin felt like it was on fire. This was the same spot that June had touched with her tongue before. Simply remembering that sent chills up Xhez's back. Her hands couldn't compare.
She had to make do with this, unfortunately. Though, she would prefer it if Rin or Elisa got down and did what June had done. Maybe she could ask next time. If there was going to be a "next time."
"Ahh..." Involuntarily, a low hiss came out from Xhez's mouth as she began to touch herself. The sprite took slow, dragging breaths as she moved her fingers in tight circles. Her toes curled on their own. A strange pleasure started to gather between her legs.
[And... This leads to...?]
Xhez swallowed and her other hand went up to her hair. She remembered then that the feeling she got when she touched herself between her legs felt a lot like what would happen whenever she touched the tendrils on her head. So, she did that in unison with what was happening below.
And, as soon as she made that connection, just a few minutes into this, it happened. Maybe Elisa was right when she said she was "pent up."
Regardless, Xhez's body began to flash. She recognized the sensation from when she was being licked by June, but unlike back then, she didn't stop what was happening. Without being at risk of anyone seeing her as a sprite, Xhez allowed the sensation to arrive in its fullest power.
Sure enough, as the intensity of the sensation increased with every stroke of Xhez's fingers, Xhez's illusion gave out. Her body continued to flash, now back in her sprite form as Xhez continued.
"Mm... Ahh!" Xhez almost let out a scream, holding herself back only because she didn't want to worry the two girls outside. But, then, it happened.
A wave of raw happiness flooded Xhez's body. Water spilled from between her legs, and her body flashed one more time. This time, though, it sent a wave of white rings throughout the room as Xhez flopped onto her back.
Taking deep breaths, Xhez felt minor spasms centered around that spot.
[I... I should tell them that I am done,] Xhez quickly thought.
Pulling herself off of Rin's bed, she dragged her body over to the door, though, all she wanted to do right now was curl up and go to sleep.
"H-Hey," Xhez called out, tapping on the door twice with her knuckles. "I am finished."
