Author’s corner: HELLO HELLO! Delayed but delivered!
ANYWAY, today came a bit late because I was watching videos on Youtube. This was supposed to come yesterday, but since I had a lot of classes, and was too absorbed into watching a Warcraft III play through, being unable to write while this was happening. YEP, I’m guilty, I admit it.
ALSO, the 1st chapter of the break’s work is up, It’s called (Re)Install, and here is the link!
Click here for the new story
ALSO(2), chapter 59.5 should come a bit later today or early tomorrow, but the 2nd chapter of my other work should be up by tomorrow no matter what.
ALSO(3):
THIS IS NON-CANNON AND WAS DONE MOSTLY FOR THE LULZ. BOTH FOR ME AND IMAGINEXBREAKER!
Have a good read!

“Am I seeing things? I might be…” I heard Hanbei mutter to my side as she covered her eyes with her hand.
Well, normally I would have added a joke around here or something, but that was a bit over my thought processing skills at the moment. I mean, I had to do everything I could to not start screaming like a madman slash little girl at the scene before me.
I mean, that Lucas guy was tearing apart the level 80 mobs like they were made of paper or something! Of course, I find it a bit strange that there are such high level mobs near a capital, but I’m not complaining. I mean, what the hell are those attacks?
For starters, he kept summoning some strange stone walls all around. At first I didn’t understand what they were, but soon the rabbit started using them as platforms to jump around and attack the enemies.
Then, when one of these golem-looking things jumped at him, suddenly fire burst out from his hands and he punched the guy into oblivion then slashed him with his sword, killing the golem just like that! The he suddenly grabbed another one by the head and stabbed him in the stony guts.
And there was also that other skill he would use whenever too many of the thingies would surround him, where he would stomp the ground and everything would shake, making the guys trip around like a bunch of fool before… I don’t know, making them float out of nowhere or something!
Cygnasdammit Lucas! There is a limit to how cheaty you can be! Can’t you at least keep it to a believable level?
I CALL HAX!
Finally, he seemed satisfied as he smiled a bit foolishly while clearing some sweat from his bow and turning back to us. Well, he probably became a little bit surprised when he saw all of us with our jaws almost touching the ground beneath our feet.
He smiled a bit awkwardly, probably noticing that he may have overdone a bit.
“You have ten seconds to explain what was that…” I said grabbing his shoulders as soon as he got closer to us again. He looked shocked at me for a moment before I went on. “I mean, what the hell are those skills? There is so many things wrong with them that I don’t even know where to start!” I said maybe a bit too excited, as he clearly looked away from me a bit at loss.
He looked at the others a bit confused, but they were probably still recovering from the shock, because no one moved at all.
“I… I’ll tell you after the boss, ok?” He said, probably trying to gather some time to come up with an answer.

Does he really thinks that I didn’t notice his plan? Does he think that the fact that he was about to fight against a level 90 boss monsters alone would be enough to distract me from all that happened right now?
“Okay then.” I said shrugging. Dammit, I’m so easily convinced!
We followed him through the forest until we reached a clearing, where he immediately put himself between the boss and us. Not that I am complaining. I mean, the boss was just a small golem around, what? Ten? Fifteen meters high?
Nothing too bad, the boss having around eight times more level than me and all aside. Nothing I would have much trouble dealing with, but some extra protection isn’t all too bad.
And by not having much trouble, I mean that I would die in one hit and then spend the rest of the time waiting for me to revive. So yeah, no trouble at all.
Anyway, the huge boss started by raising its hand in the air and bringing it down in one huge swing, but our cheaty little friend simply moved away with a side-step, before jumping over his arm and running atop of it towards his face.
I wanted to comment about that being an over-used scene in so many different anime and games, but… It gets full badass points. I would have done the same if it wasn’t for the fact that I would fall face-first on my first step.
And he almost managed to do it, until a bunch of mean-looking spikes popped up on his arm, almost impaling Lucas.
Yet, the guy simply seemed surprised for a moment before splitting into multiple bats. Yep. He split into bats. Even after introducing himself as a human, he goes and uses a clearly vampire skill?
I smell one very interesting mystery here! Let’s add that to my mental “what to extort from Lucas later” list. It’s very important. I gave a quick look at the others, but they had some deadpan eyes for quite some time now. Except for Yuu, who was watching intently the fight, but she is a fighting maniac, so that’s expected, I guess?
Anyway, our mismatch of classes of a friend kept going at the giant, joining back into a human body and landing a flying slash before flying to the ground, where more spikes popped up. But somehow he simply was thrown away from his landing spot. Really! He simply was thrown, as if something pushed him away.
And he flew back to the boss using whatever it was that was pushing him at the same time he created more of those strange walls of stone so that the assassin bunny could also land some more attacks. But the boss seemed pissed, as it suddenly covered his whole body into spikes just like the ones before.
To counter that… Mister Lucas simply summoned a huge dragon-like hand from out of nowhere and punched the giant in the gut, sending it flying, followed by creating an ice cage around the guy, with hundreds of ice spears turned inwards. Kind of like what Yuu did on her first day.
Finally, he finished by slashing the guy upwards during a jump, splitting him in half and finalizing with a huge cheat-punch*cough*dragon-hand punch to the face.
The “what to torture out of Lucas later” list just keeps getting longer and longer. As I started to rub my hands with a happy smile in my face, I notice that he started staring into the air, probably watching some kind of window that popped up.

But then he started to point towards the window and shout something at it angrily. I looked towards Aura, or rather, Cygnas, as she now had her silver fur while looking towards the guy, as he crumpled another window into a window-ball and threw it upwards to the sky. I raised my eyebrow towards the goddess, asking if it was her own doing, but she didn’t seem to notice me, being too focused on him.
I shrugged it off and approached the annoyed Lucas, who started stomping the ground, making me almost stumble when I arrived.
“I wouldn’t mind if you toned down the earthquakes…” I said as I almost fell down face-first into the ground. “Something happened?”
“Ah… Sorry.” He said with a sigh. “Just having some problems with an annoying God wannabe.”
“Huh? Cyg?” I asked automatically while looking at the fox besides me.
“Why did you immediately looked at me?” She asked me while pouting. I could only smile awkwardly for a moment.
“She… She spoke?”
The best part was the face that Lucas did when Cyg spoke for the first time in front of him, as he only stared at her in surprise with his mouth hanging wide open. A small payback for keeping surprising us all that time.
Cyg looked back at the group and then back to Lucas, signaling for me to get some distance between them, since Yagver and the others still didn’t know much about her. So I took advantage of his surprise to grab him through the neck and drag him away. He didn’t even try to react as he was still wrapping his mind around it.
“Okay. What the hell are you?” Cygnas asked him in a surprisingly serious tone. She usually only spoke like that whenever it somehow was related to the game. “I checked the NPC and Players data-base five times already and there was no signal of a new connection from outside. You shouldn’t be here, so who the hell are you?” She asked angrily.
Geez, she gets scary when it comes to the game!
“Who?” Lucas asked confused while looking at me for some help.
“Lucas, meet Cyg. Acting goddess of Insania, as well as the only goddess of naivety.” I said with a wide smile, which earned me a mean look from the fox. “Due to a severe lack of pets, she is sharing her body with Aura for now. The silver fur is for when she is the one in control.” I explained to him.
“Goddess… Of naivety?” He looked confused at Cyg for a moment. “Wait, if you are the goddess… Then you are an AI?” he asked surprised.
“Yeah, sure. Answers!” Cyg said getting impatient, making him take a step back in surprise.
“O…Okay… Let’s get back with the others and I will explain.” He said and Cyg nodded.
When we gathered together, he joined with us to tell us his story.
“I am from another world.” He said seriously.
JACKPOT! SEE! I TOLD YOU I KNEW HE WAS INTERESTING! BOO YEAH!
I mean, it does sounds far-fetched and all, but if even Cyg have no idea how he got here, that makes as much sense to me as anything else for me.
And to prove himself, he didn’t simply stop there.
“World gate Open! Earth!”
As he said that, a white rectangle appeared from thin air, emanating some kind of light that. It was around the size of a door or something of the type.
It was… Simply ridiculous. Even more by the fact that even Cyg, now disguising herself with the blue fur, was also completely shocked, just like us. This meant that he was very probably the real thing.
He smiled smugly for a moment before telling us the story a bit more precisely.
Long story cut short, in a pretty literal way, since it was a LONG story… He was originally playing a VR game that wasn’t exactly a VR game, and ended up getting a key that allows him to travel around the worlds. And by world, I mean dimensions and all.
SEE! I SAID THAT HE WAS A GOOD FIND! JACKPOT!
I smiled a bit mischievously while looking at the key in his hand.
“Hey… Lucas my buddy! Wouldn’t you… You know? Mind lending me that key?” I said while approaching him and putting my arm around his shoulder. He clearly became creeped by this, as he shivered slightly while putting some distance between us.
“Nope.” He said seriously.
“But… It’s so awesome! Just for a few days? Prettyplease?” I asked trying to do my puppy-eyes attack.
“Look, I know how you feel but this is so much bigger than just that! I have to bear the responsibility of being a [Hero] in all three worlds so I can’t give it to you!” (Puppy eyes have missed) He said seriously.
Geez, that sounds very troublesome. Maybe it’s better to not take it then…
But, looking at his serious face after all that showing off makes me really want to mess up with him.
But what could I do to affect someone as OP as him? I mean, I’m pretty sure he will be immune to anything I could try to use on him… Except maybe…
“Okay, fine.” I said putting on my best dejected face and backing off. “Then, before you go, at least try this.” I said giving him a leather ball. He looked at it confused for a moment.
“What is this?” He asked confused.
“Just try activating them.” I said holding back a mischievous smile.
And I closed my eyes as he looked confused at the ball for some time.
Feeling as the flash-bomb went out. Just to make the play a bit more interesting, I took a step forward while strongly slamming my feet into the ground so that I would make a lot of noise, almost as if I was advancing to steal his key. This startled him and he immediately fell back into his portal, and it immediately closed after him.
I smiled proudly of myself for a moment before hearing a worried squeak. I turned to see Vil, his horned bunny with a strange name that I don’t remember anymore, squeaking worried by the fact that she was left behind.
Me and Cyg widened our eyes in surprise, thinking what we could do now that the little one was left behind, but our worries were unfounded.
After a few seconds, another gate popped up and Lucas stuck out his head.
“Hey! The loots from the boss, take them to Goulder for me, will ya?” He said annoyed.
I laughed while discretly pushing the rabbit in his direction with my boot, before he could close the portal and said.
“I’ll think about it!” I said while shrugging. “And be careful of crafty golems going after your key during your sleep!” I said as if telling a ghost story, which made him smile wryly at this before closing the portal.
I laughed a bit after he finally left. Looking back at the others, they all had incredulous faces as they looked at me.
“What?” I said with a fake confusion. “It almost looks like you guys saw something incredible!” I laughed a bit at their confused faces. “Come on! We have a dungeon to beat!” I said while I completely forgot about the boss and started walking back the way I came.

Unbound Deathlord: Challenge
Due to Amazon's Kindle Unlimited rules, I had to pull most of the book content from RoyalRoad. Only sample chapters remain. To read a fiction that will never be removed from Royal Road, I recommend my other fiction: Immortal Conqueror. The first two books of the series are out on Amazon: Book 1: Unbound Deathlord: ChallengeBook 2: Unbound Deathlord: Obliteration Book 1: Challenge When virtual reality becomes real enough that people feel as if they’re being transported to another world, Valia Online arrives.A man running from his past joins the game to forget it all. A Savage's Journey
Jason Walker, a psych major, has been transported to another world. Quite frankly he isn't prepared. No experience in fighting, no idea how to control mana, and no proper clothes. Only his wits, which are in short supply, and his luck may see him through the day. This is my first novel ever. First ever time writing so I'll definitely be listening to any constructive criticism you guys have to offer. I'll even pay attention to straight up criticism if I can see some merit in it. I hope you all enjoy.
