After the students had been snapped out of their shock by Mrs. Quila, they were pretty much forced to do their own beast battles. However, to their happiness, they were incredibly lackluster compared to Damien's fight.

Everyone had soon finished their fights and they were let out of the arena to go do what they wanted.

Beth, Helen, Michael, and Scarlet all decided that they were gonna go see Damien in the infirmary after they had finished the lesson, so they were all walking towards the infirmary.

While doing so, they were walking they were all talking about what happened.

"Did you guys see how Damien looked? It honestly scared me when I saw how feral he looked..." Michael said this and he spoke with a helpless expression on his face mainly because he didn't want to feel fear towards one of his only friends but he couldn't help it, it was like every cell in his body told him that Damien was dangerous and to run away as soon as he could.

He felt even more guilty when Scarlet scolded him, "You were scared of him? I don't think you were scared of him, Michael, you were scared of his aura, not him. Don't make that mistake again, I don't think Damien would feel too great if he knew you were scared of him."

When Scarlet said this she said it in an oddly defensive way, unlike her usual neutral way of talking where she'd take neither side in anything when they talked about anything other than fighting.

Helen chipped in to smooth it all out, "Heyhey, calm down. You're both right, Damien was a bit scary but like Scarlet said, Michael, it was his aura. So if we're talking about his aura, it was terrifying. I might ask him how he got an aura like that actually--"

Before Helen could carry on speaking about how many questions she had for Damien, they saw Selena and Alice walk around the corner. When Selena saw them her eyes lit up in excitement but when she looked over the entire group for something he shoulders drooped in disappointment.

They walked up to the group and Alice spoke up, "Where's Damien? Is he training or something?"

Hearing her question, they all grimaced.

Seeing their grimaces, Alice and especially Selena, had a terrible feeling in their stomachs as they heard what Scarlet said, "He's...He's in the infirmary..."

Selena felt like she had been struck by lightning and instantly her face darkened as she asked in a stern voice. Anyone with even the slightest bit of intelligence could hear the worry in her voice.

"What happened? Did one of the higher years hurt him!?" at the thought of this happening, Selena's voice raised in volume and was slowly filling with anger. Seeing Selena getting the wrong end of the stick, Scarlet quickly cleared things up for her

"We were fighting against Mutant Beasts today and Damien had to fight two ranked 4 beasts and one rank 5 and he was badly injured in the fight. But he's still alive, so don't worry yourself too much, Selena."

As soon as Selena heard Scarlet her anger was flushed away but instead, it was replaced, once again, by wave after wave of worry.

"Come, let's go to the infirmary!"

Before Selena could get her words out, Alice said that and her voice was, well, oddly worried.

This made Selena a bit cautious, she was wondering why Alice would worry so much about Damien but it was soon washed away by her worry for Damien's well being and she soon agreed just like the rest of the group and they all rushed towards the infirmary.

They soon reached it and entered and went towards Damien's room but when they entered, they were all shocked and Selena even let out a short scream.

This was until Alice spoke up, "Hmm? So he was a Physiology Class Ability user, I knew my blood sense wouldn't be wrong. You guys don't need to worry, he's only going through an evolution of his physique. It makes me want to ask what physique he has, it seems slightly like mine but at the same time it seems so different and much more ancient..."

As Alice kept speaking, all the others looked at the cocoon made out of blood that covered Damien's body. It kept slightly pulsating but each pulse was incredibly strong and sounded like a massive war drum being used.

"What is that thumping?"

This was a question asked by both Helen and Selena. Alice thought for a moment before a look of surprise came over her face as she answered.

"It seems to be his heart. Just sensing his vitality tells me that after this change his body is gonna be much stronger than before. What a monstrous physique."

"Well, how long is he gonna be in that cocoon, Alice?"

Scarlet posed the question that was on everyone's minds, after hearing her question Alice's face shifted to one of pondering and after a few minutes of pondering, she shrugged her shoulders.

"I don't know," she shook her head in a helpless manner, "I went through one of these, it's how my body looks slightly more like a vampire and that took 4 hours to complete. So he could take the same time or it could take longer or it could even take less time."

Hearing what Alice said, everyone was disappointed because they all had questions but 2 people were just disappointed because they wanted to see if Damien was fine but they couldn't because they didn't know when he would be awake.

Soon after this, they all sat down in different areas of the room but they all just kept looking at the cocoon Damien was in and they'd occasionally chat but for the most part, they were all too worried.

Time passed by and they all sat there, none of them cared for their lessons because they could miss Damien waking up.

Once the school day had ended, someone opened the door and walked in, it was Mrs. Quila. She looked at all the people in the room and smiled, "You should all go back to your dorm rooms and get some rest. I'll send someone to inform you if Damien wakes up, okay?"

Everyone reluctantly nodded their heads and exited the room and went back to their own rooms to sleep.

This only left Mrs.Quila in the room with Damien and she simply sat down on the chair next to his bed and took out a book and started to read.

It seemed like she didn't sleep at all because 6 hours had gone by and she'd hardly move apart from when she turned the pages of her book. The book had a weird name and if Damien saw it, he'd honestly be shocked. It was called 'Information on Devils'.

Inside the cocoon Damien was conscious and he knew what was happening, he'd finally reached D-Rank Devil and his physique and devil cultivation were undergoing a change because of his awakened sins.

As you'd expect, everything was improving at an incredible rate.

Especially his heart and his digestive system. His digestive system could now digest food much, much quicker than before and now gave Damien the full nutrients of anything he eats while also allowing him to digest just about anything and get nutrients from it. His heart had practically evolved and had given Damien an absurd amount of vitality which would give him an even more monstrous healing factor.

There were also some hidden abilities that he hadn't figured out yet but overall his body was getting closer and closer to being the perfect vessel for Devil Cultivation but more importantly, for fighting and killing.

An hour later the Blood Cocoon started to liquify and was absorbed back into Damien's body and did a final enhancement on his body. As soon as this was finished his eyes snapped open and he shot up from his bed and he got a sudden bad feeling. He looked at himself in the mirror and what he saw shocked him.

"Noooo! I got taller again! And I just sorted out my uniforms!"

Yes, he had grown once more and he was now around 173cm tall and his muscles had bulked up enough to fill out his frame. Luckily he hadn't changed anywhere else in terms of appearance which was a plus for him.

Suddenly someone spoke behind him, "Well if it's that much of a problem, I can get you a new uniform, Mr. Nether~"

Damien nearly jumped out of his skin when he heard the familiar voice and he slowly turned around and greeted the person who just spoke.

"Hello, Mrs. Quila...About that cocoon I was in--"

"Don't worry about that, we know that you have a physiology class ability as well. We just didn't expect that you'd undergo the Blood Cocoon so soon."

Hearing her answer after she cut him off, Damien felt like a massive weight had been lifted off his shoulders but soon it was thrown straight back on.

"So, what Sin did you awaken Damien?"

"Wai--What are you on about?"

"You don't have to play dumb with me Damien, I know you have a Devil Physiology and I also know they awaken a sin after their first major blood cocoon. So which one did you awaken? Or are you a dual sin holder?"

"Uhh...Mrs. Quila, I--Wait, dual sin holder? Those are things?"

"Yes, they're incredibly rare, to the point where you probably wouldn't find one in the already small population of Devil Physique users"

'So they have Devils in this world as well? Well, I guess they do, I should have had this suspicion as soon as I knew Physiology Class abilities were a thing. Oh well, might as well tell her what my sins are, she wouldn't gain anything from hurting me just because I have two sins...right?'

"My sins are Wrath and Gluttony, Miss."

"Oooo what a lovely combination. Wrath and Gluttony are both quite good sins for battle."

Damien looked at Mrs. Quila as she seemed to get progressively more excited as time went on and he spoke more about his sins but before they spoke any further, Mrs. Quila suddenly laughed.

"Damien, why don't you put some clothes on? While you are a very handsome young man, I don't like younger boys, how about you wait until you're a bit older?~"

After he heard this, Damien was a bit stunned and realized that when he looked in the mirror he saw a naked version of himself but at the time it was overrun by his despair at his height. But now that he had been told about it by his teacher and a member of the opposite sex nonetheless, he a bit flustered but he kept it under control as he grabbed some underwear that was on a table next to him and put it on.

After he'd stopped being an exhibitionist and his teacher had stopped laughing at him fumbling around for his clothes, he finally sat down and Mrs. Quila spoke to him.

"I have a proposition for you, Damien."

"What is it, Miss?"

"Do you want to become my personal student, like a master-disciple relationship? If you didn't know, I'm the principle of this academy and I also teach the Class one of the first years to see if there's anyone with enough potential to be my personal student"

"I don't know Miss, it's not like I really need the help in my training and please don't take this as me looking down on you but what could you offer me?"

Mrs. Quila was caught off guard by Damien's question but she soon smiled and replied to him.

"That's a good question and I'll tell you what I can offer you. I, as the principal, can offer you any kind of training resource that you want, whether it be the gravity room or something even more advanced, I can get you it or let you train in it. I also have a Devil Physique as well, so I could help you excavate your abilities even more. It sounds good does it not?"

'She does have a point about the training resources and this Devil Physique seems to be a separate thing from Devil Cultivation so I could use the help in finding out the limits of it. Plus having the principle as my Personal Teacher/Master would give me a great amount of influence and would stop useless pests from annoying me and my friends...The pros outweigh the cons, so I might as well accept, I've already told her about my sins so why not make sure she won't hurt me?'

All a battle maniac who loves getting stronger like Damien needed to hear was 'training resources' and he was pretty much in. Anything else was pretty much fluff add on top of what seemed to be a brilliant deal for him.

"Okay Mrs. Quila, I accept your offer. Please teach me well."

Damien said this with a dashing smile on his face and bowed slightly after saying it.

"Ohohoh wonderful! You're truly going to be a wonderful disciple. Now, have some rest here and tomorrow we'll make a training plan for you and help you get used to the new changes in your body. Goodbye, my dear student~"

As she left and started walking down the corridor, Damien could've sworn that she kept laughing maniacally about how she'd finally gotten a disciple, it made him shiver at what was to come.

Quickly he shook his head and collected his thoughts, he felt the power coursing through his body and he felt the Devil Qi constantly nourishing and strengthening his body. He estimated his strength at around 20 tonnes after reaching 15 devil nodes.

'Hm? Seems that the Blood Cocoon up my strength from the 18.5 tonnes it should've been after getting 15 devil nodes. Well, it's welcomed, any increase in power is a power that can be used against my enemies~'

As soon as he finished that he sat down on the floor and started doing the BMS exercise to get used to his new body's strength and to learn to control it better.

After he got to 70% completion he went to the infirmary bed and lay down and went to sleep, little did he know of the troubles that were coming his way.
