《Teaching Heroes of Might and Magic》Chapter 2: Chests can make your heart beat more faster than love ever could

I thought for a good long while before I finally gave in and decided to try it.
So I bought it and then in front of me, suddenly appeared a chest that shook with the intensity of a very severe parkinsons case.
My hand didn't feel a thing since it appeared a few metres in front of me
After several seconds of non-stop shaking, the chest finally fell flat on the ground and the lock on it opened.
I quietly stared at the chest, while Zoras had a leisurely look on his face as he waited for me to open the chest.
Sighing internally, I slowly walked up to the chest.
My heart was pounding like it never had before, as if it was going to rip out from my chest.
Zoras: Who was behind me suddenly yelled out “Hurry up, don't keep me waiting all day” and with that, I quickened my pace up just a little bit.
I walked up towards it and then stopped right in front of the chest, and I stood like that for several moments, before I steeled my heart and placed my hands on the chests lid.
I prayed, not to God, since he was by my side playing the role of an annoying asshole. No, I prayed to luck and fate, maybe they'd listen to this pitiful little man.
And like that, I threw the chest open and what was placed right in the middle of the chest, was a single blade of grass.
Standing alone, as if it was the greatest treasure in the world.
Picking it up, I turned around, only to see Zoras laughing out loud silently, tears pouring from his eyes.
I tightly gripped the blade of grass, maybe it was just so good that he was laughing from anger. I had to stay positive.
Bringing the blade of grass towards Zoras, his laughter doubled but by the time I reached him, he went silent and then shook his head with a grin plastered on his face.
Zoras: “For making me laugh so hard, you deserve this” and with that I suddenly felt as if I had gained infinite knowledge, but that was only for a brief moment. Aside from that, it appeared as if nothing changed. “I gave you the ability 'Scour', so use your Mana or Aura, and feel out that” he said while pointing towards the blade of grass.

I did so and what I saw, broke my already shattered heart even more.
[Midland Grass Blade]
A single tear rolled down my cheek at the loss of my 100 PP.
But at least I had gained the ability 'Scour', so I guess it was a fair trade.
Looking back down at the paper in my other hand, I decided that I would take another chance, so I bought another 'Random'.
Zoras appeared shocked, but both me and him concentrated on the chest and then after the chest stopped having a seizure, I opened its lid and what braced me was another blade of grass.
I turned back and saw Zoras having a seizure as well so I sighed internally and turned back to my loot.
I scoured it and then another tear rolled down my other cheek.
[Lowland Grass Blade]
In my anger, I did what I should not have done, and bought it a third time leaving me with only 50 PP.
If this chest gave me grass as well, I'm not sure what I'd do.
I thought of the sword in my ring and then Zoras, along with sinister thoughts.
But then I shook my hand and waited for the chest to calm down.
Zoras was still laughing behind me, but his laughter was silent.
Finally the chest stopped and so did Zoras, who was looking at in an excited manner.
I neared the chest, and then I opened it, my eyes staring at the inside of the chest.
And what I saw, made me breathe a sigh of relief.
It was a pill.
A simple looking, blue pill.
Maybe it was a treasure, but it at least won't be useless right?
Zoras had a humble expression on his face as he saw the pill.
That meant it can't be bad, right?!
I scoured the pill and when I saw it, I laughed happily.
[Immortal Creation Pill
100% Purity]
I laughed happily as I hugged the pill carefully.
Zoras: Chuckling behind me began to talk “Not a bad catch, that pill should be worth at least 1000 Points, so you were lucky” as he said those words I did a victory pose in my happiness, as I had just made a huge profit “But it is useless for someone like you, since that pill will either create or repair and restore someones cultivation till the 1st Rank of Spirit Practitioner” his words didn't make me sad at all as this pill should still be worth a lot. I could sell it to genius who had his cultivation crippled, so it is an incredible item. I quickly wrapped it up with one of my old clothes and put it back into the ring.

Seeing this Zoras laughed but didn't say anything more.
With my remaining 50 PP I was about to buy food but Zoras began to talk.
Zoras: “As an Immortal Practitioner and a Magus, you have a much higher hunger tolerance, so you can go up to 15 days without food while barely feeling it, so I'd recommend not getting food” he finally gave me some decent advice since we had first met.
Looking back down at the list, I then went through the cultivation resources I could afford, and bought a total of 10 pills, which totalled out at 50 PP.
I bought 5 Spirit Rank 1-5 Pills and then 5 Mageling Rank 1-5 Pills.
(These Pills are only useful for those between Rank 1-5 of above said classes)
I put them away into my ring as well and then I checked my total remaining PP.
'Primal Points: 0'
And like that, I had spent 1000 PP, leaving me satisfied with my purchases. Aside from the robe of course, I mean, it cost too much.
But nonetheless, a god chose the robe so I'd have to use the bloody robe.
It at least made me look fantastic.
With my possessions and my goal in check, I finally decided to head out.
But then I remembered that I didn't know where I was, nor where the closest inhabited place was.
I sighed and face palmed as I realised I lost.
I turned to stare at Zoras who was grinning as if looking at an idiot.
Zev: “I don't know where I am, could you point me to the closest inhabited place?” I asked nicely but all that did was make Zoras laugh.
Zoras: “Why didn't you buy a map?” he asked me back.
Zev: Scratching my head awkwardly I looked at him “Well, I forgot” I mumbled quietly which simply made Zoras laugh even more.
Zoras: “Well, it is time for me to go I guess, but I guess I'll give you one last free piece of advice” and with that he pointed towards his left and smiled.
Zev: “Where are you going?” I asked him curiously, hoping he'd answer before he left.
Zoras: “To bother the little gods that popped up in my absence” and with that he disappeared without any special effects. He was just simply gone. Like he was a figment of my imagination.
Maybe he was.
What If I went insane and I'm simply inside a coma.
No, no. That is terrifying. Don't think of terrifying thoughts.
With that, I slapped my cheeks and then nodded in confirmation that it was time to start my quest.
Off towards the direction Zoras pointed.
Off on a journey at the behest of the God of Bullshit.

Hey Guys, Old Man here.
This chapter is a short one since the next two chapters are respectively both above 3000 words with the other one nearing 5000.
So bear with this shorty for today and I'll put up the next two tomorrow and the day afterwards once I'm finished editing.
Thanks and peace.
