Fortress of Midnight
Fortified Hall-Main Hall
Tathlyne Hune watched as death approach as the enraged Lord sensed him, he had warned the Queen this would be the response from the young Lord, but she had insisted that the cloak and chains would be enough to placate the young one. She did not understand he had used all his self-control the first time he had sent him and the others away. Death was the only thing that awaited him here and Tathlyne accepted his fate as he watched the snarling Vampire approach.
Thorgron watched as Jacob transformed into a full Vampire in front of him and dash toward a Duergar and a cloaked being. He had no idea who it was but Jacob had decided to kill the cloaked being. Eiloma shouted after him then jumped on his back trying to stop him, Thorgron yelled at her and tried to get her to back off but it was too late. Jacob smashed her ribs in with a elbow then threw her into a nearby wall and continued on as if she was never there. Eiloma screamed in pain from the impact and ribs.
Jacob felt as someone tried to restrain him from behind, but he threw an elbow and felt bones break then threw one keeping him from his enemy into a wall which earned a scream of pain. Good, no one should keep him from his enemy. He felt another pair of arms reach around him, these were far larger and more powerful then the last. They did not restrain him though, they whirled him around and forced him to look at someone he knew and trusted. "Jacob, lad look at me. No one else is here. Get him the FUCK OUT OF HERE NOW!!!.' the Duergar screamed at someone behind him. Jacob saw three beings moving on the edge of his vision but the Duergar kept him centered and concentrated on him. 'Mylord, please look at me. Concentrate on me and only me. You have already hurt one of your Kin lad, take deep breaths and concentrate on my voice. Breathe in and out....slow...breath in....and out."
Jacob slowly regained himself, he saw Eiloma being tended by both June and Chalxae. Fuck, he has lost control and screwed up. What the fuck was that guy doing here. Time for an answer as he grabbed the Communication Coin and activated it as he dashed out of the Hall and away from the Fortress. "Get her on the line right now, I do not give a fuck who she is talking to. If she does not respond I am done helping her and everyone there."

Tomb of Eternal Night
Palace-Great Hall
Talia sat on her Throne of Night and listened as some lord complained about another when she noticed one of the Master of Shadows minions dash into the hall and avoid all her Guards to make it to her side. "It is Lord Longstrider, and he is demanding to speak to you now. If you do not speak he has threatened to break away lady." the operative hissed out. Talia hissed, she did not have time to deal withe the youngling but had no choice, if they lost him they lost everything. She immediately stood and grabbed the coin while walking away from the Hall and toward her private sitting room.
"Who do you think you are, demanding..." She started before Jacob interrupted her.
"Shut up. I have done everything you have asked me to do. I have founded a House, Bonded with beings, led them into battle, created new Vampires, and founded a Fortress in the ass end of nowhere. We are living on the edge out here and you send an enemy back here. I sent him there to face Judgment for his actions. I did not expect to see him ever again. I sent him there with all the other captives because I COULD NOT pass judgment on them fairly. I would have condemned them all to death without a second thought. My people deserve Justice Queen Talia, and allowing the one that led the force that killed them all to walk around free is not Justice!! What did you expect me to do when I saw him?" Jacob hissed out. He was trying to control his anger but it was a losing battle. The deaths were to new and fresh on his mind.
Talia took a breath and calmed down. She had taken a huge risk sending the Drow back to Jacob, but he was the best bet to educate him on what he needed. Both with War and Politics, but sending an enemy that had killed his people to help him was maybe asking much. "You are right Jacob. I have asked much of you and with little support. I sent him because he is someone you need that I know has the knowledge to educate you. I just ask that you listen to what the proposal is then if you decide to kill him I understand and will not judge you. I am sorry Jacob. Thank you for everything you have done, I will keep this coin on my person at all times now, if you need to talk reach out and I will always respond. Now I have to go, I also have responsibilities here." As Talia walked back toward the hall she suddenly stopped and considered what he had said. He had created more Vampires....

Fortress of Midnight
Fortified Hall-Main Hall
Jacob strode back into the Hall after he finished talking to the Queen. She sounded like she regretted her decision but it might be another manipulation. It didn't matter at the moment, he had to check on Eiloma. Shigna was working on the stone that was cracked from where he had thrown her. He pointed back toward the living quarters already knowing what he wanted to know. All three were in their chamber, Eiloma was laying on her bed sipping on a cup of blood while her ribs finished healing. "Are you ok Jacob?" Eiloma asked him. She was the one that was injured, and she is worried about him.
Jacob tried to smile and failed "I am in control again. I am sorry for hurting you and if you wish to leave I understand" Jacob heard Chalxae mutter idiot before he saw Eilome signal for him to move closer. As he approached her bed she pulled him down closer, then punched him in the mouth.
"If I wanted to leave, I would already be gone, idiot. Now tell us what happened out there and what made you lose control like that?" Eiloma asked as Jacob recovered from the split lip. It was the least he owed her after breaking her ribs.
Jacob considered his words then responded "The Drow that came in with the shipment from the Tomb was the Drow who led the attack on the Grove. Before you ask, the Queen is the one who sent him and I have no idea why he is here, but she wants him to teach me. I agreed to listen to his proposal and Talia agreed that if I wanted to execute him after she would not be mad at me. I also threatened to stop supporting the Tomb to get her on the Communication Coin. Also, it was not an idle threat."
"Good Jacob, if you will not follow through with a threat, do not say them even to Royalty. Now I understand why you are so mad at that Drow, but you gave your word. Listen then take a day to decide and talk to us before you decide anything please. Now go, he is waiting in your office with 2 guards and Thorgron. I am sure they all want to know why that incident happened." Eiloma dismissed him. Both Drows nodded in agreement with the High Elf while pushing him toward the door. Apparently they wanted some alone time with the other woman.
The Drow was sitting in one of his chairs, the guards stood by the door while Thorgron had a dagger at his throat. "I hope you are uncomfortable. You are not welcome here. Now why don't you tell me why you are here and why I should not kill you?" Jacob asked the Swordmaster as he walked into his office.
"The Queen thought you would need a tutor for the battlefield and for politics. She knew a Swordmaster that had survived as long as I have must have skills in both. I warned her that this would be a mistake, but she insisted that if I wanted to live, I would repay the debt I owe you and your people by doing this." Tathlyne Hune told the irrate lord.
Jacob tried to stay calm, breathing in and out "Nothing you can say or do will bring back the dead. So you want to teach an enemy tactics and strategy of the battlefield and of politics? What exactly can you tech me, you used bad tactics to try and defeat me. Why should I listen to you?"
