When I woke up, what I saw was myself on a bed, in the arm of a beautiful woman who called me her daughter. Looking around the room I noticed how large it was, on the walls are painted golden symbols. I have never seen something so beautiful before rivaling even the woman whose arms I am in. While on the ceiling, the symbols shined with the radiance of the prettiest flowers.
The windows of the room were majestic; I only saw things like that in the books mom has showed me when she was alive. I was moved by the way the light reflected on those symbols, I extended my hand trying to reach the closest one but the woman suddenly woke up.
Mother : "Hello sweet-heart, feeling nice?" she asked with a smiling face.
Shina : "Haiiiiii" I tried to answer but I couldn't formulate a single word.
I feel like I know who this woman is but can’t remember, if I met someone as beautiful as her before with my me 'eidetic memory' (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eidetic_memory), I would surely remember her.
I suddenly felt hungry, I was charmed by the decorations of the room and completely forgot about my hunger.
I instantly start crying, it's really embarrassing, I mean I never cried from all that has happened with my foster family and here I am crying just because I feel a little hungry... I remember mom telling me it was something called "baby's instinct".
The woman's reaction was pretty funny, at first it was panic, she tried to make me laugh with some grimace but it was useless even if they were pretty funny. The woman then tried to cradle me in her arms but after a few moments as she saw it wasn’t working, she was in a overheat, I could almost see smoke coming out of her ears.

She stopped, it looks like she figured I was hungry, she slowly smiled at me and then...
She threw me upward? Come on calm down, well it's pretty funny okay but I never saw a mother do this to her children.
After I began to stop rising, I expected to start to fall, but I wasn't moving I was flying.
As she moved her hand, my body was moving in the sky, it felt awesome, but how is it possible?
Is that magic? Mom could do magic too, she made coin appear out of nowhere but she never made me fly like that, I tried to ask her once but told me even for her it was impossible.
After I got used to flying, my instincts gained the upper hand again and I started crying once more. Her eyes started to become teary and took me back in her arms. She didn't know what do to anymore, then out of nowhere the door slammed open and the man I saw earlier entered the room.
Father : "Is there a problem?" He asked calmly
Mother : "I don’t know, she is crying since she woke up..." Answered the woman almost crying, her eyes were almost as red as her iris.
Father : "Did you perhaps forgot to feed her?"
Mother : "....." She suddenly made a blank face after realizing she forgot one of the main reasons there is for a baby to cry.
She brought my face to her breast, I couldn't stop myself from sucking the milk, at first it was embarrassing, but after a few moment I felt at peace, like nothing else mattered in the world. After I finished my meal... or if I may call it like that. My mother carefully dropped me on the bed and looked at me with a wry smile.
Mother : "Arsal, don’t you think it's still too early to tell her, we should maybe wait a few years before telling her that."
Arsal : "Mystel, she have the right to know who she is and why this happened, we won’t be able to live like a family if we are always hiding secrets from each other..."

Mystel : "You are right... It's just... I am afraid from how she will see us after that..."
Arsal : "It's gonna be alright..."
Some secret, I wonder what they are talking about?... Is it about her magic, or maybe... about what happened before...
Mystel : "Listen well Shina please, your father and I are what you would call in your world...Well the most comparable thing would be God."
Shina : "Hauu?..."
Shina knew who God is, her previous mom was catholic and took her to the church every Sunday. She taught her that God is someone who watched and judged every living beings for their act and deeds and would let them go to paradise if they were worthy of hell for the criminal.
Arsal : "What your mother said is half right, we are the one who made the world in which you lived, and at the same time destroyed it... You remember seeing a fireball before seeing us, it was my deed."
I see, I died so I am meeting them, but why are they calling me their daughter? There must be something else.
Mystel : "The first time I held you, do you remember what I first said? That I was waiting for you for such a long time... For approximately 700 000 years"
Some doubts went across Shina baby face, 700 000 years was a really long time, she wasn't even born at that time and humanity didn't even exist.
Mystel seeing the doubts being reflected on her face continued
Mystel : "You can’t remember anything from those years because you didn't possess a conscience yet, you were still a baby in my womb until four years ago, in order to get a child your father and me had to constantly transfer a lot of power in order to make sure you didn't die.
The two of us are the origin of all things and as a baby you couldn't resist yet all our power. But four years ago, we knew you would be born soon, but as your conscious awoke, your power went on a rampage and we had to send your spirit live in another body until you could think properly.
We made a body for your soul and sent you to our newest world, the one you were living in."
Arsal : "But your power was interfering with ours and couldn't try to manage the world anymore, it was a newly made world and needed many changes but if we tried to interfere there it would have been damaging to your soul. So we were forced to watch you grow up and waited for an opportunity to bring you back."
Mystel : "We saw what happened with your foster family, we already knew how humans would act and that they would bring their world down, but we didn't expect them to go as far as to hurt you.
I know you may think we abandoned you, but we had to let you go in order to let you live..."
My mother was crying and hugged as she taught me the truth about me, my dad was keeping his calm face, but I could see some sweat building up on his face, he too was nervous, maybe even more than mom...
I always felt different from other people , but I didn't expect that. I was a little angry because they abandoned me, but seeing her crying... I know they did what they thought was the best for me and didn't wish for me to encounter what I had.
I extended my hand to her eyes and wiped them with my little hands and patted her silky long black hair, even if they had to abandon me, they still tried everything they could in order to get me bring me back, and they are my only family, the only ones I have now...
My father let out a sigh of relief and my mother looked at me blankly before a big smile appeared on her face, anyone who looked at her could see she was overjoyed that I accepted them.

Fragments from the Wildlands
“Your first death is always the hardest.” Miguela was the third-born child of a well-off merchant family and knew from around the time she could speak that her life’s path was already decided. She was to become an Orator, as was Xandran tradition. However, Miguela had an affinity with the magikal arts and somehow found herself studying at the Academy. She did just enough to keep up with her studies but never found the motivation to apply herself and “reach her potential,” as her instructors often said. It was not that Miguela was uninterested in the arts. Rather, she knew her time at the Academy ultimately did not matter. Whenever Miguela returned home, she would become an Orator, and that would be that. Or so she believed until, one day, an opportunity appeared that would change her life. Miguela was offered the chance to join a research team tasked with a mission of the utmost importance to the future of the Five Kingdoms. She could not turn down the prospect of regaining control of her life and finally finding a purpose for herself. Of course, Miguela might soon discover that offers that appear too good to be true are usually fraught with lies. Welcome to Five Kingdoms of Cordizal! Question: What is the Five Kingdoms of Cordizal? I often get asked this type of question about my stories by friends, bloggers, and potential readers. The Five Kingdoms of Cordizal is a high-fantasy epic universe that is the setting for most of my stories. The foundation of the universe is its multicultural, multiracial setting with several sentient races attempting to carve their legacy and survive. The world is fully fleshed out and vibrant with a rich and mysterious history not based on Tolkien mythology. This brings me to magic. To me, magic is an essential part of the fantasy genre, so, of course, there is magic in the Five Kingdoms universe. However, one critical part of the Five Kingdoms universe is that magic is an abundant commodity that is a part of everyday life and not some plot device used to drive the story. In short, the Five Kingdoms universe is the setting of epic fantasy stories with deep characters and world-building. I try to tell as many different types of stories as possible in the universe, and hopefully, you can find something for you in it.

Broken (Peeta Mellark Fanfiction)
Peeta Mellark has survived the Hunger Games, he escaped the Quarter Quell, then he was rescued from the torturous hands of the Capitol. His memory has been tampered with, so everything he sees could be either real or fake. Instead of a smooth recovery, he is thrown right into war. What would become of him in the end? Broken. (Taking place a little over halfway through the Mockingjay book and after the movie Mockingjay Part 1) This is a somewhat sequel to the other story I wrote called Hijacked, but I think you could read this without reading the other one.
