Being embraced by the person who saved her made Shina feel an air of familiarity. Cutting through the blue lightning sword with a pure dark red sword, the lightning vanished, returning her vision.
What she saw put her in an awe, the woman who was carrying her seemed to be in her sixteens, had white hairs and red eyes; yet her face and hairstyle was the same as the girl who died a little before.
Shina : “ E-Eniel?...” She muttered in shock with tears in her eyes.
Eniel : “ Yes?” She affectionately replied
Under the shock, Shina clutched to her as hard as she could, hoping it wasn’t an illusion and that she wouldn’t disappear.
After a hugging her for a few minutes, Shina finally calmed down and released Eniel whose face showed a wistful expression for a brief moment.
Shina : “ But how can you be here? Y… Your heart wasn’t even beating anymore. I really thought you died back then.” She asked as she remembered holding her bloody cold body.
Eniel : “I don’t know myself… I passed what felt like years in a strange place before waking up and seeing Verlox, maybe he know something.” Eniel replied as she tried to remember.
Shina : “ Verlox ?! He was here? Where is he now ?”
Eniel : “He said he had to ‘coordinate’ something and that he would come back soon.”
Shina : “ ‘Coordinate’?... I have a bad feeling.” She said doubtfully.
“GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA” A large roar emerged from the horizon.
From the horizon, a large monster was flying. A monster of fifty meters long whose sight terrified not only the soldiers who were already fleeing away, but also everyone inside Elorgia. It was a dragon.
Dragons, considered as the most dangerous monster in the world and by all era. Normally they would just remain in their slumber for a few hundreds of years before going out to eat and once again sleep.
The only reason which would make one leave his cave would be to mate. But there were a few others times, and at those times, kingdom were destroyed.
But here, a dragon was flying toward the city. How could they not be terrified?
Seeing this, even Refalos started to retreat to the city, unwilling to let his men recklessly die against a monster they maybe wouldn’t be able to kill even with their whole army.
“GROOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAA” Another large roar came now from the opposite direction, it was another dragon.
And once again another came out, a large number of howl came from every direction and a high number of dragons were flying toward the city. Their number grew with each minute, quickly rising to over a hundred.
Greens, reds, browns, blues… But what shocked them the most was the appearance of black and golden dragons, said to be the rulers of the dragon race.
All the dragons surrounded the army, not leaving a single one escape and mercilessly killed any that attempted to escape, yet surprisingly, they didn’t do anything to those who stayed still.

Among the dragons, one was much larger than any others. It was a unique dragon with grey scales and who was flying much higher than the others, as he glanced in Shina’s direction, he flew toward them as he started to become smaller and smaller until finally turning into a human.
Veralox : “ Finally… I am glad that you are safe.” He said as he approached Shina, feeling like a weight was taken out of his shoulders.
Shina : “ Hell you sure took your time to find me…” She joked.
Veralox : “ Oh you don’t know how crazy I became… Every night I was afraid that milords would appear before me and kill me.” He replied tiredly.
Shina : “ I-I see… that must have been scary.” She sympathized.
Veralox : “ Before you once again disappear, take this.” He said as he handed her a bracelet.
The bracelet wasn’t made of gold or any other precious metals, it made of a strange thread which seemed frail yet was very resistant as it was reinforced by Veralox magic. The thread was connected to a strange grey rock.
Veralox : “ It’s a fragment of my horn, as long as you have this I should be able to locate you wherever you are. I should really have given you this before.”
Wearing the bracelet on her right wrist, Shina looked at the many dragons around the demoralized army.
Shina : “ You sure brought an army with you.”
Veralox : “ Heh, I only took the elder dragons with me. There are still a few thousand of young adult waiting nearby. Anyway, what do you want to do with the army? I’ll let you decide.” He said, ready to order the dragons to burn the whole army to ashes.
Although there were a lot of death, the troops were still high in numbers as half of them died under Shina’s repeated Ancient Language, leaving still around 200 000 alive.
Shina : “IF YOU DON’T WANT TO DIE, DROP YOUR WEAPON ON THE GROUND AND HAND OVER THE PRINCE !!” Infusing her mana in the air coming out of her mouth, Shina made her voice propagate in the whole battlefield.
Hearing the girl’s voice, the soldiers first hesitated. But seeing the dragons ready to crush them at any moment, they didn’t dare disobey and threw their weapons on the ground as they looked around them for the prince.
However, even after a few minutes passed, the prince was nowhere to be found.
With a little smirk, Veralox’s voice echoed on the battlefield.
Veralox : “ RASTREK, BURN A THOUSAND OF THEM !”
One of the golden dragons suddenly breathed out a golden flame, burning a high number of soldiers on a line.
The soldiers didn’t die instantly, the flame slowly melted their armor, burned their skin and melt their bones. But even after the breath, the golden flame didn’t disappear but continue to burn without losing its intensity.
Veralox : “ THE NEXT TIME IT’LL BE ONE THOUSAND, THEN ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND !” He angrily shouted as he saw they weren’t taking Shina’s warning seriously.
At his words, all the dragons around gathered their flames, waiting for his signal to burn them to crisp.
Panic went through the troops as they were all trying to localise the prince, but it didn’t take it long for him to be found.

“HE IS HERE !... HURRY AND DELIVER HIM !!”
Guarded by his royal guards, Kerser tried to resist to the soldiers, but how could a few guards win against an army?
Kerser : “ DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING ?! YOU TRAITORS !”
Kerser tried his best to resist to the soldiers, but it was in vain. If it was a normal war then this situation wouldn’t occur, but this time they were against dragons. The pressure they felt was far greater than any others.
Being transported through the whole army, Kerser was thrown at Shina’s feet by his own soldiers. But what he saw when he raised his head at her shocked him.
Kerser : “ Y-you… why do you have t-those ?!” He said as he looked at her horns and lizard tail.
The Shina Kerser knew was a demi-human catgirl with an abnormal talent in swordsmanship and magic. But before him was a half-dragon who commanded an army capable of destroying any country in this world.
Normally, every time he ended in a bad spot Kerser would use his father’s influence, but what influence did he have on the dragons? Many thoughts crossed his mind, but not a single one would help him in this situation.
Shina : “ Kukuku, it’s been a while, right ?” She said as she laughed at him, enjoying his pale and desperate expression.
Kerser : “ W-What do you intend to do with me ?” He asked, frightened about what would happen.
Shina : “ Absolutely nothing, I am going to let you return home with your soldiers.” She said with a fake smile.
Hearing this, Kerser’s face relaxed as Veralox smiled, certain it wouldn’t end here.
Shina : “ You are going to return home, and tell to your father to abdicate. How could I let a family like yours rule a country? I’ll be coming in a few days so I’ll be waiting for good news.”
Finishing her menace with a childish smile, Shina walked in direction to the fire camp, where both Estiel, Fiona and Inkvir should be waiting for her.
Kerser : “ Wait! Are you serious ?! My father will never accept !” He complained, but what he received was a meaningful glance from both Eniel, Shina and Veralox.
Veralox : “ If he doesn’t accept, then it’ll be the end of your country.” He said in a cold tone before following Shina.
*********** ************** *********** **************** **************
As Pan and Nuya were sleeping at Rainte’s side, Fiona and Estiel who were observing the battlefield from afar rejoiced at the dragons approach.
Knowing that Shina personally knew Veralox, the Dragon God, who else could mobilize not only the normal dragons, but also the black and golden one who normally obey to no one, not even the two others Primal Gods.
As they saw Shina approach accompanied by Veralox and Eniel, both of them were surprised
by Eniel’s transformation.
Only a few hours ago she was only a little taller than them. But now, she could be considered as a proper woman.
After hearing everything about Eniel’s death and Shina’s rampage, they quickly understood the strange things that happened and why Inkvir told them to retreat, but one thing was strange…
Estiel : “ Speaking of him, where is Inkvir? He ran after you if I remember well.”
Shina : “ Is that so ?... But I didn’t see him, did you Eniel ?” She turned to her.
Recalling what happened what seemed to be years ago for her, she only remembered fighting soldiers and then being pierced by the holy sword. After that, she simply woke up and saw Veralox, but she didn’t recall seeing him and answered her question with a nod of her head.
Veralox : “ Inkvir? Is it a Vec ?” He asked as he recalled the man who used his life force to save Eniel’s life.
Estiel : “ That’s him ! Where is he ?”
Veralox : “He died, he actually used all his energy to save Eniel’s life and was finished by Lumenia… It’s the name of the Goddess of Light.”
Hearing this, none of the girls said a single thing. They had only passed a few months with him, yet they still thought of him as a member of their family.
Learning about Lumenia’s deed, brought to her mind Keniro’s appearance. The boy not only said that he was summoned, but he was armed with a holy sword and was called ‘hero’. It was easy for her to make a link between Lumenia and him.
‘In short, he should have been teleported to her temple…’
In school, she had learned that Lumenia’s temple was located above Theristid’s capital, in the angel’s country on a flying island called the ‘Holy Land’.
She had said that she would pay a visit to Theristid’s king, but knowing that her cousin was there, it wouldn’t hurt to drop by for a moment.
Hearing this, Veralox also agreed to her decision as it wouldn’t be sure to let Lumenia alone, knowing that she had tried to kill Shina after their little ‘conversation’.
With their next plan in mind, the group walked toward their next destination before Theristid… The city whose ruler tried to sell his country to save himself, Elorgia.
*********** ************** *********** **************** **************
In the Holy Land’s temple:
Damnit, it seems that Veralox is really angry this time, is he really starting a war against me just for a single half ?... Was she his daughter?...
Trying to kill her was a bad idea, I regret acting out of anger… I didn’t even manage to kill her since my attacks lost its strength due to the distance between here and Elorgia.
I even had to save that brat since he still didn’t accomplish his objective, he really took me a lot of mana to summon to this world, it would be a shame to have let him die back then.
But… I don’t think he matters anymore since I have no other choice. My life is far more important than this petty game we’ve been doing for now who know how many years.
Since Veralox isn’t someone I can take on alone, I don’t have any other choice than asking ‘his’ help… the Dark God.
Even if it’s the Dragon God, in two against one he can’t beat us.

The Grey Realm, an Erebus Story.
Written by: Staugroan and The Inklets. Edited by: Claudia Adams. In the beginning there was a god, who watched over and made one world his own. Soon after the god grew restless, but happened to stumble on a small world filled with life. This world was named Erebus by its peoples; humanity. The god was so fascinated with this new world that he started to copy it back home, creating oceans, forests, deserts, and so forth. Then the god created life and eventually his favored creations who would be immortals and be the better of mankind in every way-the elves. So often the god had traveled to Erebus that the two worlds became linked by magic and their inhabitants could cross at will. Relations between the races flourished, and a great empire was born in the Grey Realm, home of the elves. But the god once again grew restless, and set loose great beasts that stood at the top of any food chain, the apex. At first the elves met the challenge and fought them head on. But mankind was not so lucky, they died in droves to push back even a single apex. Something had to be done. Elves and man worked together to begin sealing off the worlds to protect mankind, to limit the ways in and out to better fight the apex off and keep their fellows safe. The ritual had adverse effects the likes of which neither the elves nor man could predict; the sealing of the worlds started slow, but the magic had never been done before, and in their ignorance it spread to completely cut the two worlds off from one another. It ejected the apex, and other magical being back into the Grey Realm, saving Erebus. At first the elves were content, they would find a way back once the apex were dead and gone. But the seal had done more than keep Erebus locked away. The powersource of the seal was magic itself, from both worlds, and it consumed it all greedily. The elves, weakened without their magic, crumbled into ruin, and the apex were free to hunt the other races of the Grey Realm. Two-thousand years later a strange phenomena is occurring and magic is slowly returning to the Grey Realm, and tears open that allow passage to Erebus. Thu'lain and a few elves must make the journey to fallen kingdom of the elves Anosora, in the hopes of reclaiming what was once theirs. They must face their nemesis the apex, and survive not only the species that have turned against them, but a terrible being left behind by the god to kill even the apex. Uch'l'thein, the faceless terror.
