[/Nexus_reporting: Hirudocrystallus is now available for harvesting]
[/Nexus_reporting: Viricrystallus silo is full]
Pioneer watches its drone army crawling back and forth between the main colony and the currently-rebuilding satellite colony, the drones have been working 3 hours straight since the attack stopped. Organic materials have been collected and stored in air tight and vacuumed silos for preservation for future use, destroyed facilities and drones have been recycled and repaired for the most part, and the surviving adventurers in the outpost section on the other side of the tunnel have been given a simple shelter to stay in, the shelter will provide them water and food, both of which are the by-product of the new organic material preservation and processing facility that Nexus and Pioneer developed lately. Water are extracted from the flesh and blood of the dead bugs and food are processed bug meat that considered to be edible for the outsiders.
The newly constructed shelter also allows the drones to keep an eye on them easier through the use of simple cameras and other sensory modules installed in and around the shelter, the adventures obviously did not like the feeling of being watched all the time much, but at least the 4 legged creatures offered them a safe place to stay in and provided them basic needs to survive and recover from their wounds.
Pioneer considered constructing a new drone specifically for dealing with the outsiders peacefully, perhaps they weren't used to seeing unfamiliar creatures that looked too different from the things they were used to. Maybe Pioneer will try developing and producing a series of bipedal drones that don't look too alien to the outsiders once the reconstruction and expansion plans for the colonies are done carried out.

Pioneer picks up a CPU assembly unit from a destroyed Battle Drone near the edge of the satellite colony and takes a close look at it while the General Purpose Drones are diligently carrying out their recycling and material reclaiming duty behind Pioneer.

Pioneer analyzes Nexus's reports as it quickly turns around and returns to the main colony, there the Pioneer and Nexus begin 'discussing' their plans for the colonies, the outpost and the refugees.
Pioneer instructed Nexus to recycle the CPU assembly unit it just found earlier as a part of new Nvidia Quadro 1000 project to make use of already experienced, but unfortunate Battle Drones, after all, having a new commander starting at lv 7 is better than a completely new one at lv 1. For the new negotiator drone and its new body, Pioneer will do them by itself.
Nexus requested Pioneer's permission to quickly build up a couple of expedition forces to send out exploring and constructing outposts as well as new satellite colonies in both tunnels. Nexus believes by increasing their total operation zone and constructing proper infrastructure to commute between different outposts and colonies, the main colony can be better protected as the frontline will be much farther away if the base is constructed like this.
Pioneer is reluctant about this as it assumes a heavily focused and developed base would be a better option, however, after hearing Nexus's second plan for the spread out bases, the core agreed it would be a good thing to do.
Nexus wanted to streamline the base and make them in specialized districts such as Crystallus growing district, Crystallus refining and storing district, Power Production district, Ordnance production district, Nanite factory and drone service depot district, etc. Nexus aimed for reducing the general drone traffic in the colony to avoid traffic jam once the bases are properly developed and expanded into large drone cities. For outposts, they will serve as checkpoints to maintain the supply route or hardpoints to defend the colony's hotspots. And by doing this, Nexus could construct a separate facility to store refugees from outside to study them too.
Pioneer gives its aide's plan a go as it gives Nexus No.64's CPU assembly unit before leaving the area, Nexus will take care of the bases in place of Pioneer for now as the core gets on the highway and goes to the shelter where Erika and others are held in to see what the new situation Nexus reported was.

"I'm telling you, we need medicine!. ME-DI-CINE!"
"They can't understand you, Carius. They don't speak the common language."
"Tch, Erika, you once talked to these things before. Don't you know how t-"
The conversation between the adventurers in the shelter stops as Pioneer steps into the building, the air has become tense again because of Pioneer's sudden appearance, but this time it does not feel as frightening nor as serious like the previous encounter as the adventures think it won't do any harm to them just yet. After all, the thing provided them food, water, shelter and protection instead of throwing them out or killing them mercilessly, they all still afraid of the thing and assumed that the thing will ask something in return sooner or later based on their life experience, though.
"...Pioneer?"
Erika stands up quickly while looking at the core's temporary body after calling out its name, Pioneer quickly takes note of this and confirms that the black knight indeed knew Pioneer 0 to some extent.
"Yes."
The machine replies as it covers its body with a layer of transparent structural nanite to make sure that no dangerous radiation will leak out and harm the adventures in the shelter. Then Pioneer slowly and carefully approaches the group as it scans everyone carefully.
"What did you and that thing just say, Erika?"
"Pioneer is the name of this thing...And I don't know...Maybe it confirmed its identity...This thing is a lot different than what I remembered."
"...Do you think you can ask it some medicine?"
"I don't know...Let's me t-"
"Erika, yes?"
Pioneer cuts in between the conversation between Erika and Carius as it stops in front of the adventures, unlike the colonies the shelter is well lit with the green light from Viricrystallus light sticks on the ceiling, which is a crystallus shard encased in a thick transparent shell to isolate the crystal shard and intensify the light by converting the magical energy into the correct electromagnetic wave that is visible light of green color. The light is quite eerie and odd, but it is better than no light at all.
"...Yes"
Erika nods quickly while replying in her native language as she remembers the nodding gesture has something to do with agreement and encouragement. And she was right as Pioneer understood what she just said.
"Ah...Wound...Healing item, medicine?."
Pioneer watches the black knight pointing at some of her still sick allies on the floor, it seemed like although their body had been healed, their overall health didn't improve very much as their body couldn't cope with the sudden changes and slightly poisoned by the bugs' body fluid.
[/Scanning_lifeform]
Pioneer observes the sick adventurers' symptoms as it tries guessing what's wrong with them, from its eyes Pioneer can clearly see the mana flow in their body is a massive tangled mess, maybe the mage who casted the healing spell did not cast it right at all, and in the Pioneer's CPU, it actually does not know what's wrong with the adventures at all aside from the tangled mana flows.
As Pioneer tilts its head slightly, the core decides to do some experiments on the sick adventurer, if the core is lucky and get it right, it might save the adventurer and get their trust, if it fails...Pioneer decides to not run that simulation as it focuses on fixing the sick adventure.
[Energetic Heart is ineffect]
Some of the adventurers near Pioneer shudder as they feel their body getting zapped with weak static electricity, Pioneer still could not control its new power completely, but it will be enough for now as Pioneer carefully untangles the mana flows in the adventure's body by using nanites. From Erika's point of view, she just sees the 4 legged being staring at the sick adventurer intensively without saying nor making a sound.
Erika and other adventurers closely observe Pioneer's actions as it tries it best to fix the sick adventure. Meanwhile, Nexus has started the construction of a new colony in the nuclear-glassed chamber and it is sending out groups after groups of drones to explore the cave and erect more new outposts and colonies, Nexus wants to build up as many things it can before the bugs return to the area.
On the surface of the cave, armies from many great Empires and Kingdoms have gathered near the dwarven town in preparation to push the ferocious monsters back to where it came from and claim the place as their own.
