With the final chapter of arc 1 up, I thought I'd give a place to state all your complaints and concerns about Precipice! (Compliments are also allowed. Please shower me in praise >.
It looks like it won't let me post a chapter under 500 characters, so let's have some bloopers I suppose. (Real bloopers this time, not just scrapped drafts hehe)

His muscles spasmed to the point of tearing and blood steadily leaked from his skin, but he ignored the pain. Every ounce of his being, of his conscience, of his will, he poured into the empty space where his core should have been.
Then, as if it had always been there, his core pulled itself back together, a wispy ball of red stained with specks of green and yellow.
It was imperfect, perhaps the most imperfect soul to have ever been made, but it was there. His eyes rolled up in the backs of their sockets, and he collapsed on the floor, every ounce of his energy spent.
Faintly, he could hear Rynn's steps get closer, and killing intent flared around him.
"Hah. You thought I would fall for the old form-your-soul-in-the-middle-of-battle-to-escape trick?" Rynn advanced to Sainthood in an instant, cultivating the true storms in the air with a single breath. "I really have been neglecting my talent."
His aura flared, and Kiro's soul shattered into a thousand bits.
In the distance, Aer slammed her nonexistent forehead into a metaphorical wall. This was not how she thought that would have gone.
