I am about to reveal some major spoilers, as many have questions. Continue reading of you really want to know.

A few questions have risen about the story....is it a tragedy? No

Eddie is dead? No

Is killing off side characters a tragedy? No Hawken's, Sanchez and Schmidt's deaths were real, but does not make a tragedy.....

Eddie is not dead, tho Scott thinks he is. I know some may have thought that I threw Eddie away after building him up like that, AND this is one of the major spoilers. But due to comments, I felt the need to clarify, we will see more of Eddie later in book two where it all gets explained ( no I do not have to think of a way to bring him back, as it was all planned when Ki'Diera said "he is deceiving you Scott". That should have been a hint from the get go that something was off.)

The prophecy, sigh. Let me explain as many of you may have noticed the monster attacks are secondary issues. Right now Scott is focused on some of his skills and abilities, he was given a nudge, a suggestion maybe by the system, that he needs to work on them as they hold the key to everything that is going on. The monster attacks, the NPC's showing up, him becoming a baron and a king later, even his love for his three wives and WHY they love him, are all connected. And his three kids are MOST definitely connected. But as I said before, his kids themselves will not play major role in the events as they unfold, but they are VERY important and are a reason for his and his three wives resolve.

Book one was to get to know all the major characters, see the day to day struggle, the chaotic environment that they live in now, as each day unfolds something new is discovered or learned. I tried to convey that, but in some cases it went different than what I had in my head and the story slowed down to a crawl at times. Most of the action will take place in book two almost non stop (was planned). Worlds apart hints to something in itself, that the battle does not happen only on Earth, but on many planets at the same time........how will they cope with that? It had been hinted, when the Ny'Har'En and the Builders showed up and we learned of their stories.

More NPC's races will be revealed in book two, but keep in mind Earth is a big place, not everything happens in New Mexico, so our band of adventurers will have to go and seek them out, as was the case with the Drow. In doing so, they will meet other survivors, as more did survive, as we have all seen, all across the world many survived, but the population has dwindled severely. Of 7.5 billion you could say less than 10 million live, if you want numbers. Our folks have yet to journey far and do not know this yet, but as the reader, yes more live. How, who, where are to be discovered and how Scott and his Wives can help them is still to come.

I hinted in the dream that the were-beasts were killed easily. It was true and planned from the get go. Yes it was anti climatic, but now we have a new issue, the three wives have been possessed when their children were put in danger. How far does this reach? Will this happen every time they are put in danger? Or was it a nudge again?

The question as to who or what is doing this, I will not say at this time, tho I do know and already have it all written down. Many guess god or gods...no it is not a god or gods. I can assure you of that much.

Scott putting all his stat points into willpower and focus. Think clearly on this folks, And by me telling you this will pretty much take away from the story but I hope you will continue to read anyways. With Reality Manipulation he can create items he can think of. So why not an item that gives him a stat boost of say 1000 strength or even 1000000 strength? Dex even or why not perfect immunity? Anything is possible with Reality Manipulation as the story will show as it unfolds and he learns more. He understand this now, but had to train the skill up to get there. He needs Willpower and Focus insanely high to do it too and while he is safe in the safe zone he can train it. The mind is a VERY powerful tool once it gets used, it can be more powerful than a sword or gun. And there will be others who learn this as well......not good guys either.

I am not trying to make Scott into a total idiot, but he has to learn like we all do and with his hectic environment it is hard to understand it all at once. It takes to learn and understand to grasp the reality of what is and what is not possible. Think if you were to awaken and suddenly everyone had super powers, and you were given the choice to pick anything you wanted....what would you pick? The sky is the limit here. Actually the Universe is the limit to give you some perspectives. As the universe is endless, so are the options. If you really think about it it is hard to fathom. I will put my mind up against any invincible warrior, fighter, mage type any day, you can have your dex/agi and str and unlimited health and mana pools....I just need my mind to kill you.

Example:

Warrior uses speed to slash..I use my mind and have your brain in my hand and close my hand slowly crushing it. You are dead!
