Book 2 C 15 Broken

My mind is racing as I am in my room thinking. Mind control of some kind and he has me in a check mate right now. I can not go against him at this time. And time was not on my side here. A few days at most he said thinking to me, 2 maybe 3 and then the girls would be totally his. Was he bluffing? It did not seem so as he had no reason to.

What was his overall goal, obviously he wanted power and getting the Queens was is best option, plus he got to Rick, Bre'Tirgan and even Doc Mayes. In a few days a word from him and they all will do whatever he says including supporting him to take over.

Not only do I need to find a way out, but how to prevent this from happening in the future again.

I think back at his words to me, the girls were still attached to me so the charm or mind control takes time to brainwash them totally. He knows all my abilities as he probably got it from my three wives. Would be like taking candy from a baby right now.

I put my mind to full thought about how to counter this, I focus and hope somehow the system will assist me here. I feel my mana and willpower dropping fast but do not fight it and let it go.

I awake and find myself in bed. Julie, Cindy and Ki'Diera are fast asleep, Julie and Cindy are cuddling to me like they always do, if I did not know better I would not even notice what was going on as all three girls are nude as am I, they undressed me and put me to bed it seems.

I look at my watch and it is 2:45 am. I get out of bed using stealth and move quietly to the end and equip my uniform. I have no idea where he resides or when this all began. But it all points to four days ago, was he one of the ones we let go from the dungeon? I did not recognize his face tho.

Who is he? Why is he doing this? Stupid that is obvious, he wants the power and the three beautful women at his side. Sigh. Ok Think Scott, how do you overcome this, you can not kill him, no one will listen to you, and the charm or brainwash can not be broken by death. And he can not kill me as that would kill his plans too.

Let's go step by step here. Cindy is the closest to him now, followed by Julie and Ki'Diera then Rick and Bre'Tirgan , then Doc Mayes. Cindy is allowing him to kiss her cheek but no more, Julie is not that far or he would have demostrated that too, just to piss me off. Mind control and brainwash and it is of the magical nature yet the Bracelet did not protect them from it. So is it from smell? It gets inside the body and overcomes you somehow? Anyone who comes in contact with him gets brainwashed and is open to his suggestions and words?

If it was direct magic the Bracelet would have reacted and at least one or even two of the girls would have resisted it, even Rick and Bre'Tirgan would have resisted it. So it has to be smell, as taste is out of the question. Then his body must be giving off some kind of odor or pheromones that overcomes the mind.

Once in the system it is done. Now how to overcome it after the fact. Using an artificial breathing system is no good now that it is on the system.

“Scott? Are you awake?” Cindy asks sleepily looking about.

I look towards her, as I am sitting on the end of the bed my helmet is on and I use my visor to see her face in the darkness. “Yes I am honey, I am here just working on some stuff”, I say to her.

“You need to come to bed Tiger, it is late and you were already asleep when we found you earlier, did you make more rings?” She asks.

“Yeah I was making one when I passed out again sorry.” I say to her.

“You really need to be more careful you know, Ki'Diera found it and really liked it, it was different from the others you have made so far” She says with concern.

“Hey Honey can I ask you a question?” I ask her.

“Sure Tiger what is it?” she says now sitting up and looking in my direction. Her face is beautiful, her eyes show care for me.

“This David guy, why do you hang out with him?” I ask her.

“Uh David? Umm, well I do not know a David...” She says lie'ing.

“I saw you at the river, he had his arm around you and even kissed your cheek Cindy.” I confront her lie.

“Oh that David, well he did kiss my cheek but I told him to stop it, I am a married woman,” She quickly says.

“Yet you sat next to him and let him put his arm around you.” I say to her.

“We are just friends Scott, he is a nice guy, trustworthy, he would not do anything to get in between you and me, you have to believe that.” She says defensively.

“So it would be ok if I go and put may arm around Doc Mathews and kiss her on the cheek huh” I ask

“Of course not silly you two are not that good of friends.” she says smiling.

“Cindy you just met the guy four days ago, how can you call him a trustworthy friend, let alone sit next to him with his arm around you and trying to kiss you and you just blush about it?” I ask now my anger starting to get the better of me. Calm down Scott, she is under a spell, you need to calm down.

“It is not like that at all Scott, really it is not, we are just friends!” she yells now and wakes up Julie and Ki'Diera.

“What is going on?” Ki'Diera demands

“Ugh! so loud what is it?” Julie complains

“Scott is jealous of David!” Cindy says to them.

“Really why? David is such a nice guy.” Julie says now in confusion,

“Really now Scott, why would you be jealous of him? Are we not, here in your bed with you?” Ki'Diera asks.”I told you David is a nice guy and trustworthy.”

It is no use, talking will only make things worse right now

“You are right, I got jealous for no reason, but I need you three to make me one promise. You can not break it no matter what ok?” I say to all three.

“Sure Tiger anything you ask” Cindy says

“Of course sweetheart anything” Julie says at the same time

“It is only natural my warrior.” Ki'Diera says too.

“Under no circumstances can you turn off the mind link today. Even if asked to, by anyone.” I say sternly.

“Uhh...” Cindy starts

“hmmm” Julie begins to think

“erm..” Ki'Diera looks uncertain.

“Promise me that right here and right now, that is the only thing I ask of you three” I say to them.

All three sit silent. I turn my mind link on now.

Then Cindy begins to speak, "I...I..I am sorry Scott, but I can not promise that.”

Julie also speaks,” I...I am sorry.”

Ki'Diera remains quiet but her face says it all.

“Where is the ring I made I need to make more for Rick”. I ask

Ki'Diera points, “on the table” she says in a barely audible voice ashamed.

I get up and see the ring on the table, it is a plain ring and seems to have a center piece built in but looks incomplete. I pick it up and examine it.

I take it and walk out the room as I exit all three cry out “Scott??!!!” I close the door behind me.

I head to the Throne room and see the two guards at the doors. ”Summon Alexander quickly, I need him now.” I say to one of them and enter

“Yes your majesty” he says and runs off.

“Once Alexander arrives, close this door and no one, not even my wives are to enter got it?” I say to the other guard.

“As you command your majesty.” He says

I turn off the mind link again as the girls will not use it right now, but to be safe I need privacy. So I must assume he got to Montgomery and Halloway too, as he went after everyone close to me in quick order. Now to test Alexander and see if he too, is affected. Alexander goes by the principal that my orders are absolute so I will have to test this.

Shortly after, a running Alexander comes bursting into the throne room “Your Majesty you summoned me?” he says and drops to one knee before me, bowing his head.

“Alexander do you know a David?” I ask him.

"Yes your Majesty a nice fellow and trustworthy” He says to me head still bowed.

“Alexander rise” I say to him

He rises and smiles to me.

“Alexander as your King, are my orders to be followed under any circumstances?” I ask him

He gives me a confused look, then answers” your word is absolute your Majesty, any order given must be followed no matter what.” He says.

“If I ask you to fall on your sword, would you do it” I ask him, I am being as serious as can be right now.

“Your Majesty?” He asks confused and sees my face then straightens up, no more smile can be seen, his face becomes rigid “ If his Majesty so orders I am compelled to do so, so is the law and the rule of my people, the King's word is absolute.” he says staring off into the space before him as he answers.

“Then Alexander I have an absolute order for you” I say to him, “ you said yourself if I command it you can not disobey it under any circumstances”

“That is correct your Majesty, what is your will?” He asks, his voice is getting tense.

“I hereby declare David Stanfied an enemy of the Kingdom, as such you are to view him as such too” I say slowly to him.” I declare him untrustworthy, I declare him no friend of the Kingdom and above all I declare him as my and your mortal enemy.”

“Your Majesty? “Alexander begins, doubt creeps onto his face” I...I... I am trying to...”

“Alexander your King has spoken, do you go against his word?” I ask him in a loud and ominous voice.

“No...no your......majesty...I just I...”he is having trouble, fighting an internal conflict. Emotion go across his face quickly from doubt to anger to confusion and back.

He falls to his knees grabbing his head, “Pleas....please forgive me....” He cries out.

I ..AM ... YOUR..KING!!! “I yell at him.” MY word is absolute you said it yourself, now fight it dammit fight it and acknowledge me as your King!!!

Alexander is struggling fighting with every ounce of his being. He falls to his side and screams out” aAAAARRGGHHH!!” then he begins to sob.

I kneel down next to him,” it is ok Alexander fight it, I am here to help you remember, remember your oath to the king, remember your oath to your people, remember Alexander you can do it.” I say softly to him.

Alexander begins to whimper and cries for a long time, saying incoherent things, his mind in turmoil now. Then slowly he stiffens and stops crying. He slowly looks to me” you...your majesty?......what have....I done?” his face shows resolve and his eyes have an anger in them.

“Nothing yet Alexander, but it is good to see you back” I say to him standing up and lowering my hand to him.

He grabs my hand and stands up, uses his hand to wipe his face” I am clear of mind once more your Majesty, your word is absolute, David Stanfield is an enemy of the Kingdom and a mortal enemy of you and me.” He has an anger now in his voice. His resolve is final.

“Good know that, that is over we need to plan, he has everyone in his pocket.” I say to Alexander.

“What is the plan Scott?” Alexander asks

My head whips towards him ”Scott? I thought you insisted on Majesty”

“I did, but in this case, as a friend to a friend, I find this more appropriate, as you have offered so many times before.” he says extending out his hand to me.

I take his hand gladly and shake it,” for now I need you away from him or you will just fall under is charm again”, i then hand him a gas mask from my inventory.

“Keep that door barricaded let no one in no matter who it is even my wives. Defend it with your life.” I command.

He bows and says”you will be done my King!” and heads for the door. I then look at the incomplete ring in my hand and wonder what I was making or rather what the system was assisting me with. I go and sit on the Throne and focus on the ring and feel my mana and willpower once again being drained. I feel the ring in my hand and what it is I want from it. I pour my entire being into it, letting my focus and willpower be guided by the system and watch the ring, as it slowly takes on a new form.

An hour passes and it is still glowing in my hand and my mind is fading, my mana dropped to zero long ago and I am draining from the three girls now, so they know something must be up by now.

A banging comes from the door.

“Scott open up, what is going on!!” Cindy cries out

“Scott you are draining us of mana, what is happening, are you in danger?” Julie says with concern

“As Queen I demand you give us entry move aside” Ki'Diera demands

“By order of the King none shall pass!” One of the guards says loudly

Good he did not get the guard, just those in power. Maybe a limit

I continue my focus and the ring is almost done. It is a wedding ring and has a large stone in the place holder which is glowing. The ring is finished and in my hand. I look to my Willpower and I am at 4 points left. I need to rest and regain willpower so I can copy it. I sit back and rest and let my eyes close.

I awake to pounding on the door, “Scott open this damn door now.” Rick demands from outside. I quickly look and half of my willpower is returned now. I slept for bit and now the others have gathered as predicted. Once I drained their mana they will try to stop me as per Davids orders. He knows if i find a way he would have to stop me at all costs.

“Guards step aside can you not see the Queens are in distress?” says a familiar voice. It is David's

“We are....un....we are......as you wish only the Queens may pass” The guards outside say.

“You are up Alexander” I say to him and he nods putting the gas mask on, now holding the cross bar down on the door effectively locking it.

The door is pushed but the lock holds. I begin to focus on the ring and try to copy it. I feel my mana and willpower once again draining. I sense If I do this it will take a full hour to copy and drain me to unconsciousness, and I cannot afford to be in that state right now. I still have one ring it will have to be enough for the plan.

The pounding on the door is growing stronger like they are trying to break in. “Enough Alexander tell them the Queens may enter."

" We are letting in the Queens only” yells Alexander thru the gas mask and lifts the bar up to unlock the doors.

As soon as the bar is lifted the two doors come crashing open with Rick and Bre'Tirgan pushing them in, Cindy, Julie and Ki'Diera come running in after and a calm and cool David comes walking in slowly viewing the sights with pleasure.

“Not a bad set up you got here Scott” says David “ you actually had me worried there for a minute, but seeing as I still have control, you failed it seems.” He laughs

“Scott what are you doing you are endangering your life here.” Cindy pleads.

"Please Scott come with us, David said what you are doing is dangerous and can kill you, that means we will also die,” Julie says concerned.

“Scott my Warrior you are in distress let us take care of you” Says Ki'Diera.

“That is right ladies, he is endangering not only himself but you too, think about your children, if he dies, so do they, we simply can not allow that, can we?” David says to the girls

“It is ok, I give up, I am stopping, I failed. You win David.” I say with a resigned voice and drop to me knees. I then look to Cindy. "Honey I am scared, I feel all alone here” I plead holding out my arms to her.

Cindy comes runnnig to me and grabs me into hug,” my sweet sweet Tiger I am here for you, I am here always.”

"Oh, how touching, the big brave Scott now reduced to humble pie" David laughs.

I push her back lightly and take both of her hands into mine “I love you with all my heart honey”, as I slip the ring onto her left ring finger "This is symbol of my love to you."

Cindy gasps in surprise at it, “It is beau..........” then suddenly her eyes go blank. She freezes on the spot.

“What is it? What is going on? Cindy my little flower what is going on? I demand you answer me!” David says as concern rises in his voice.

Then slowly as if waking from a dream, Cindy looks me in the eyes and tears begin to flow quickly, then suddenly rage flares. I jump back as the heat coming from Cindy is intense, her fire aura is now active and her hair flails about wildly.

“You bastard! You motherfucking lowlife bastard!” Cindy says her voice low and growling her anger and rage seeping

thru.

“Cindy my little flower, stop this nonsense, he has you under spell can't you see, he is using you against me!” David says fear now in his voice.

Cindy walks steadily towards him, everyone is in shock and backs away due to the intense heat, no one utters a word.

“You dare touch me, you dare put those lips to my cheek, you dare try to part Scott and me!!” Cindy cries and stretches her hand forward letting out a dual stream of fire engulfing David.

David's agonizing screams last only seconds as he dies in the flames by Cindy. Nothing remains of him. Cindy then turns to me and runs into my arms and begins to cry, she keep repeating sorry over and over as I hold her tightly to me happy that my wife is back.

“Alexander place all we discussed under house arrest till further notice.” I say to him “Tell them I will be by to see each of them individually”.

“Bre'Tirgan, Rick, Julie, Ki'Diera please go with Alexander and I will come see you soon, I will explain everything. Please trust me on this, I promise it will all make sense soon.” I say softly to them

They each look confused but eventually nod and comply. Alexander, taking off the gas mask, leads them away gently and respectfully directs them.

I push Cindy lightly away and look into her eyes.” Are you back my love?” I say to her.

“I am so sorry Scott, it was like I was in a dream, I saw myself doing things, I was revolted by it, and angry, but I could do nothing, i tried to scream and call out to you, but I could not, I was in agony at my helplessness”, she says between sobs.

“He used a form of mind control on you, you breathed it in and it affected your mind like a toxin or a drug.” I say to her.” that ring should prevent any further problems in the future.”

She looks down at the ring again and smiles while crying, then laughs, "it is beautiful Scott” she says and looks up at me tears still flowing.

Then she says “ It also broke the curse and the spell”.

Author's Note: As I said no NTR, a kiss on the cheek is NOT NTR sigh NTR is when they have actual intercourse, really now. But in any case the curse is now broken and so is the love spell, what happens now?
