Class Quest: The ritual of power

In a hidden sanctum of an abandoned castle you have found details of an ancient ritual of power, attempt to complete the ritual and take the power it offers, by killing 1000 innocent souls (Non-chaotic players or NPCs) while holding the demon’s heart, finding the sword of Felix Steelhart and merging the two with a weapon of your own. The quest will fail if you are killed while charging the demon’s heart.

With slightly teary innocent eyes, she looked down at me.

“You aren’t going to do it are you?”

I looked at her straight in the eyes.

“Of course I am.”

Her mouth dropped, she was completely shocked, she tried to get up and push away from me in disgust, but I held her closer.

“Let go of me you murderer! Stop squeezing my, ooohh you!”

“Let! Me! Go! I don’t know you anymore.”

After a few more moments of tussling, she eventually got tired and realized the she couldn’t get away, falling on my chest, she began to puff her cheeks.

“Oooh, you meanie.”

“Will you listen to me now?”

“Are you going to tell me you won’t do the quest and you’ll apologize for hurting my feelings?”

“Alexis, you know it’s only a game right?”

“That still doesn’t make it any better, you know these NPCs have feeling too.”

Kissed the top of her head.

“You’re so kind, and considerate.”

“Oohh, you won’t be able to use that silver tongue to wiggle your way out of this one, no doing the quest.”

“I don’t have to kill any NPCs, rather I don’t want to, because I can kill players as well.”

Killing NPCs would be way too hard especially with guards, I would have to find some sort of devil’s shack to work from like the letter, and even then I would have to go slowly as not to bring up too much attention, it could take years, in comparison killing a thousand novices seems way easier.

“Oooh, that’s still not good.”

“You know it’ll only be temporary, after that I’ll hang up my pk’ing days, just plain old fun adventuring together.”

I kissed behind her ears and whispered into her ears.

“Alexis, you’re beautiful.”

Having the desired effect, her ears lit up, covering her blushing face in my chest she responded weakly.

And so we fought the skeleton guards for a few in game days, I managed to get to level 30 and Alexis hit level 27, so before logging off for dinner we went to the onsen. I was sitting down in here naked, waiting on Alexis, for a moment I thought she had played a trick on me, but I knew she was too kind for that.

She came out of the wooden changing room wearing just a towel as promised, it was lovely, her long blonde hair contrasted with the black towel tightly wrapped around her, emphasising her beauty.

Silently with a blush on her face, she came and sat down in the water next to me. We sat like this silently, for a few moments, when it seemed she calmed down a bit, she began to rest her head on my shoulder. After a couple of minutes of enjoying each other’s company I put my arm around her waist and slipped my hand down her towel.

“No taking my towel off, and nothing further than touching, okay?”

“Of course not, this onsen is quite nice though.”

“Yeah it’s quite comfor-mmn ting.”

Moving my hand onto her leg, I began to fondle under the towel, while kissing her all over, after a few minutes of her feeling carnal pleasure, the casual talk began.

“So you came here for your class quest right?”

“Yeah, ah, I can’t talk much about the sect, mm, otherwise I’ll get kicked out, but my quest is to kill a strong undead here, ahhh, before it can become a death knight.”

Tears started welling up in her eyes as she realized what I meant.

“Being polyamorous means I fall in love with more than one person, so I won’t end whatever I have with my magic teacher."

She burst into tears at this point, ughh damnit, magic won’t help me this time.

“I love you Alexis, and I want us to be together, but I’m polyamorous so there’ll be more than just you, I can’t tell you how many there will be, but I can only promise there will be no casual flings, I will love you and any others equally and with all my heart, if this isn’t possible we can just be friends who play the game together.”

I went in to kiss her, but she put her hands on my mouth to stop me.

“No, *sniff*, I’m sorry, I need to go.”

I stroked her hair one last time.

“Don’t be sorry Alexis, just know that I love and care about you, no matter what.”

With that she logged out.

These are the 17 starter races, I won't tell you more about them, some may notice a theme behind some of the races, I'm gonna make a poll vote what race you would have taken.

The real competition is I'm making a map, atm Japan is hidden but needs to be by the boats, Somner kindgom is at the very south of the main continent and Estariel is to the north of Somner.

I've got a couple of ideas for places in my head as to where the MC and his party (or partner huhu) go, but I wanna flesh out the map.

What I want you to do is post in the thread the race you would take, a bit about your starter area and a bit about either your first quest (do note that quests are hard to get in this game, like, go bake 10 breadloafs isn't a quest, bake and deliver 1000 breadloafs before the end of the day, you can only carry them in your hands is one) or the quest that defines your character, this doesn't have to be a starter quest, it can be like way into the future, relelvant to the area you started in.

The ones I like the most, will be put on the map and may be put as a side character or mentioned in the story.
