I am currently at a loss at how to describe their shopping date. I currently have 5 options

1. Just summarize most of it and elaborate on a few "special moments"; where I determine what those are might remove chances for character development, but will speed plot along faster.

2. Make the whole damn date detailed as I do with everything else; It will take another 1-3 chapters to complete if this wins as alot might need to be described.

3. Summarize the whole damn thing and let us imagine it; somewhat breaks the way i've been writing the story thus far and prevents further character development from occuring but allows the plot to move faster.

4. Skip the tedius parts and just elaborate on the juicy parts which include character development and plot advancement; Propably the one I will choose in the end if nothing else because that is how my writing style is.

5. None of the above; Provide your own alternative.

I have written about 3-4 pages so far and I've been using 4 so far, but I want to see what the readership thinks. As I am stuck between these 4 choices feel free to vote and I'll check it before I continue writing.

So in the end, option 4 was chosen by the readership. Very few people 4/146 (2.8%) wanted me to sumarize everything while at least 136/143 of those who voted wanted me to at least describe certain aspects of the plot. So to oblidge my readership, but more importantly because I felt it was what the story needed, I wrote out an addional 4-5 pages today. And they haven't even finished shopping for everything Robert needs yet. But there is more character development on both ends (Jessica and Robert).
