《Beast God》Chapter 26- Family Reunion

“Who are-!” Cassie started to ask but before he could, Ben had him by his throat and was lifting him off the ground.
Ben’s hand had turned into a claw and was squeezing Cassie’s throat tighter and tighter.
“My fath-!”
*Snap!*
His neck broke. Throwing the body onto the ground Ben coldy said, “Don't worry, I will kill him as well.”
“Lord!”
“Lord Cassie!”
His servants and body guards all ran onto the field in panic. If the Lord died they would all die!
“Don't worry, you are all going to die as well.” these cold arrogant words sent shivers down their spines.
Both of Ben’s hands became claws, he activated his left eye, sending lightning throughout his body. With lightning shooting out from his body and with sharp claws for hands, he looked like a god thirsty for blood. Before they had a chance to run away, Ben appeared before them, slashing their throats.
Screams and begging were heard across the field as the slaughter continued. Ben’s cold expression never changed as he wantingly slaughtered. He felt no sympathy or mercy for these people. They dared to raise a hand against his family? Then there would be no second chance for them, there fate was sealed.
Blood covered the ground as Ben crushed the last man’s throat. His hands turning back to normal, he walked over to Grayson. Cloey stood in front of him, Ben told her to protect him while he took care of the insects.
…
Grayson looked around in horror. Bodies were laying everywhere, necks ripped open and bleeding. Their eyes still open filled with fear and shock.
A beautiful woman was standing in front of him, her long white hair and devilish figure would make her the center of most men’s fantasies.
“Umm excuse me? Who are you and who is that man?” Grayson nervously asked. He knew that they saved him but he wanted to know why.
The white haired girl gave him a quick look before returning her gaze to the man dressed in black.
“He will want to tell you himself.” she said, her voice sounded like a beautiful melody.
Giving a small nod, Grayson saw the man walking towards him. Standing up, he tried to brush off and adjust his robes to make himself look less pathetic. He ran his fingers through his long blonde hair, trying to tame the mess.
As the man came closer, he got a better look at him. He was around 1.9m tall with a muscular body. His hair was a blonde but had a light gold tinge to it. The man’s arms were covered in life like tattoos, a wolf and a bird from what Grayson could tell. What really surprised Grayson were the man’s eyes. Bright gold iris’ with different coloured rings in each eye. The blood thirsty aura he emitted made Grayson shiver.
‘He looks familiar though.’ Grayson thought.
Steeling his nerves, Grayson greeted him.
“Hi, I’m Grayson. Thank you for saving me, sir. Is there-” Before Grayson could finish, the man embraced him with a tight hug.
“W-what’s going on?” Grayson froze in fear, not knowing what to do.

Letting him go, the man stared at Grayson, “What you can't remember you own damn brother?”
…
Ben smiled at Grayson’s shocked expression.
His brother seemed to be doing good. He seemed taller than before, almost as tall as himself. His hair was still long like before, his father always gave him hell about it. Grayson was wearing a red magician robe that looked like it came straight from a fantasy movie.
“My brother?” Grayson’s eyes went wide. “Bennett? Bennett is that you?” Grayson was in disbelief.
“Of course you dumbass, who else would make the effort to save your sorry ass?” Ben joked punching Grayson in the shoulder.
Grayson held his shoulder, still in shock from what Ben told him.
Tears swelled up in Grayson’s eyes, “Ben!” he cried diving back into Bennett’s arms.
Patting his brothers back, Ben gently smiled. “Okay you baby. Let's go see mom and dad. I have travelled a long way to see them.”
Wiping his eyes, Grayson nodded. He then looked at Cloey and then back to Ben, asking him a question silently.
“I’m sorry, this is Cloey.” Ben said introducing them, “Cloey, this is my brother Grayson.”
Cloey gave a slight nod towards Grayson and he returned it.
Noticing her ears, “You're an elf?” he asked.
“Snow Elf.” Cloey simply stated, not elaborating.
“Okay now let's go see mom and dad already.” Ben urged, the excitement in his voice was obvious.
“But Ben, what about all this?” Grayson motioned to the dead bodies. “Some of these people are from powerful families and will come looking for revenge.” Grayson was worried for his brother because they would definitely come for Ben’s head.
“Let them come. I haven't vented all my anger yet anyway.” a blatant threat towards anyone who could hear.
Though he was still hesitant, “Okay let's go see mom and dad. They will be thrilled to see you. We thought the worst.”
“Yes let's go.” Ben said, almost jumping up and down with excitement.
…
On the way to see his parents, Grayson told him about what they went through the last 6 months. Ben’s family was relatively lucky as they were on their way home when the system was put in place. Monsters attacked their vehicle but dad and Grayson were able to kill them and get their classes. Dad chose a Warrior class called Berserker that let him unleash devastating blows in a small time frame. Grayson choose the mage class as his INT and WIS were unusually high. They found others wanderers like them and stayed together. When phase two came, they headed towards the closest city.
It was on the way to the city that Grayson met his present girlfriend. Her name was Allana and she was a mage as well. They fell in love before they knew it. They made it to the city okay but their problems shorty began after. The self proclaimed ruler of the city son saw Allana by chance and started to pursue her. Unable to win her heart, he tried to take her by force but was almost burnt to death by Grayson. Jack Bosch, the leader of the city, had to step in to save his son. Though he wanted to kill Grayson, he didn't dare make a mover or the other powerful families in the city might use this chance to join forces and attack him.

His dad, Joe Arnott, acquired the sub class Blacksmith and started to work in a small shop near where they lived. Cathy, their mom, also got a subclass as a Seamstress and got a job in a large shop. Cathy also acquired the class Healer, thanks to Grayson and Joe leveling her up.
Ben looked at Grayson’s status.
Grayson Lvl 44
Fire Mage
“Grayson you said you are a mage but your status says Fire Mage?” Ben was confused.
“Yeah it's the class I choose at level 25.” Grayson looked at Ben, as though it was obvious.
“Most people choose a new class at level 25 , 50 and 75.” Cloey calmly stated, knowing Ben didn't know this.
“Oh I didn't know that.” Ben wondered why he didn't have that but he knew his class was something a little special.
Grayson looked at Ben with a strange look, ‘He doesn't even know the basics?’
An annoyed look flashed on Ben’s face, “Hey what's with that look? While you have been sitting all cozy in a city I have been fighting for my life in the wild. I didn't have time to learn this stuff.” Ben ruffled Grayson’s hair.
Pushing Ben’s hand away, Grayson noticed his tattoos again.
“Bro did you get those tattoos when we were on vacation?” Grayson asked, examining Ben’s arm.
“Haha no it actually has something to do with my class.” Ben laughed at Grayson’s shocked looked.
Walking through the city, they arrived at the lower end housing and shops. Grayson looked embarrassed at where they lived.
“I wasn't able to go out hunting that much because I was afraid to leave mom and Allana alone.” Grayson explained.
Hunting was the main source of income most families had in the city. They could sell to shops or sell straight to the system.
Ben nodded his head, not caring where his family lived as long as they were safe.
Grayson walked up to a small house and opened the door, letting Cloey and Ben entered. Looking around the house, Ben could see his mother’s influence everywhere.
A young lady rushed out from a room, seeing Grayson she started crying and leaped into his arms. Grayson buried his face into her shoulder and tightly hugged her.
“Thank god. I thought you were going to die.” she sobbed into Grayson’s chest.
‘This must be Allana.’ Ben mused.
She was a beautiful girl with long black hair and clear brown skin. She had light brown eyes that gave her a pure look with light pink lips.
Grayson was a good looking kid and had no trouble in the ladies department in high school so Ben knew she had to be a special girl to capture his heart.
“Grayson!” a new voice came from another room.
Ben breath caught, ‘Mom.’
His mother ran out and hugged Grayson and Allana. Joe also ran out and gave a large smile filled with relief. He walked over and hugged his son as well.
Ben smiled and let them have their moment. His mother looked younger, like she was filled with youth. His father looks the same, just a little large thanks to his class.
He stood by the door with Cloey and smiled at his family. He felt happiness knowing his family was alive and well and he was now reunited with them.
“Okay everyone enough. There’s someone here who wants to meet you.” Grayson finally spoke, breaking up the hug pile.
Joe and Cathy were stunned by Cloey’s appearance. They didn't think that anyone could be that beautiful. Allana was also stunned, she had always been praised for her appearance but now it seemed like a joke in front of Cloey.
Cloey’s face turned red as she tried to hide behind Ben.
“Haha always stealing all the attention.” Ben teased.
Cloey pinched his side in response.
Everyone seemed to focus on Ben now.
“Welcome to our home.” Joe greeted him.
Cathy stared at Ben for awhile before taking an audible gasp. She walked forward and touched his face. “Is that you Benny?” she whispered.
Pressing her hand to his face, “Yes mom. It’s me.” he whispered, tears threatening to spill.
Cathy’s eyes turned red as she hugged her son. Both her boys came back to her today, what more could she ask.
Joe was stunned, ‘Ben? This is Ben?’
He did look like Ben but the hair and eyes were wrong.
“You're Ben?” Joe asked.
“Yes dad. I might look a little different but it is me.” Ben smiled at his cautious father.
Allana was still in Grayson’s arms, “This is your older brother you told me about? He is alive?” she asked stupefied. Grayson told her he was by himself when the system came into play and that his chances of surviving were very low. Though the family kept hope, they knew that it was a long shot he was still alive.
Grayson smiled, “Yes, Bennett finally made it home.”
…
At the center of the city in a huge mansion, all hell was breaking loose.
*Smash!*
A table was destroyed and splinters sent flying.
“WHO DARES KILL MY KID!?” Jack roared, spit flying everywhere.
Jack was a short man that was almost as wide as he was tall. His black hair had greying on the sides. His brown eyes were bloodshot with rage as he continued to destroy the room.
The messenger was shaking in fear, not knowing if Jack would take his life in anger.
After destroying the room, Jack was standing there taking deep ragged breaths.
Looking at the messenger he calmed himself, “Find out who he is and his level.”
The messenger left in a hurry, thankful to leave with his life.
Jack eyes turned bright red before turning back to brown, “Whoever you are, you will pay for killing my son.”

High school life in a world where everyone has superpowers
So, um... how do I explain this simply? Okay, so... There's a girl, she's er... She's in high school, and, um... She has a superpower that mutes things? Also she lives? Yeah, sorry. The concept's too confusing isn't it? Warning: The stuff below is technically correct, but this fiction, with my other, is now on the failed pledge list. Shocking how a lack of updates for more than half a year actually meant something... Sorry for the delay, still not really up to writing for this series as of now (14/03/18 - remember I'm english, so correct) but I'm still trying to get into writing... Cover is thanks to Zenlith (WriTE's Founding Member). This fiction is signed under the 'The Pledge'... Some internet message in a forum about not dropping or giving a rushed ending in their fiction, otherwise meet the wrath of letting RRL mod Vocaloid have 'fun' with the fiction's description. So mainly for the sake of my fiction due to said wrath, I'll see this fiction through. Updates: up in the air... hopefully the day after this is edited, but we all have dreams. Warning for mild profanity, but it shouldn't happen too much for the innocent out there so don't take the warning to heart.
