The princess singal us to approach her with a face full of annoyance… she wants to hurts us, theres no doubt she does.

She caress the whip at her hip while looking specifically at me. ‘In due time’ i can hear repeat again and again in a low almost imperceptible voice. Actually she is pretty with those long blond eyelashes, blue eyes and petite figure, only if she wasn't such a psycho.

She chants again what she did with the baby and gives Eos and Baltoz one ring each.

Now its my turn and she looks at me wickedly, i hope those are just delusion and she won't do anything to me.

She repeats the chant, grabs my hand forcefully and while pinching it and smiling she puts the ring on.

The first thing i notice is the huge and awesome boost in attributes. So thats why i could kill those kobolds easily.

“Now show me”Says the queen while i'm still looking at the stats.

“How?”

“Say show, the name of the skill, to all” The princess says as the obvious thing to do.Well sorry i didn't know how!.

I look at the different skills that i have and notice that some, i got to know thanks to the windows and other i i've never seen, and decided on the most apparent one without looking at the description.

I look at the copper ring with a Grey gem embedded and then say “Show, Primordial dialect, to all”

All the commotion that happened when i deciphered the ancient elven dialect repeated but this is much, much greater.

There were people that started debating with each other about if it was real or not, about if it could be used in a way to relearn ancient languages, to decipher long undecipherable text, and even some which were looked sternly by the princess about killing me off. Of course if i were going to be killed the princess would lose a valuable toy, so thats why she shut them up.

But the queen calms her down and says something about going to the temple and the princess settles down.

We hurriedly leave, because the sooner i leave the sight of the maniatic princess the sooner i'll stop having the weird delusion of her in a leather outfit doing imaginable thing to my body.

But remembering something i turn and ask the princess.

She looks at me like the answer she need to give me is one of obviousness and says “Because Gaia has the higher ranking”.

Well that only told me the gods has rankings… but the more information the better.. at least is what i think.

I look at the queen one last time before leaving, and she has the strangest look, clearly unbefitting of royalty, but this time she isn't looking at me but at Baltoz and Eos.

The window scared me but lets me know we are still at night.

Like reading my mind the guards start closing the doors behind us as to not let any more people in.

We reach the outside and the guards that were previously there have already changed shift which makes Bernard let out a breath of relief.

“Do you already know what you are going to do?” Says Bernard while looking at us.

“Any suggestions?

He thinks while scratching his growing beard.

“First a place to stay, thats covered by the queendom, so something to do during the six months?... How about learning some combat profession and a manufacturer one?”

He gives us directions to the inn and his house if we would like to chat a little and head to the queendom sponsored inn.

Its located in the nobles district, can't expect less from royalty.

As we reach the place we notice its above trees like every other building in this district, now the problem is how to go up.

We didn't have to wait long for another family thats staying in the same building.

Its a father a mother and a the little baby, its one of the woman that was in front of me in the line.

We wait for them to enter, but they don't do anything strange they just walk to the tree and they disintegrate.

*How is that not strange!?*

Well.. it wasn't strange before that! I try to defend myself against… myself?

Ugg gotta stop talking to that thing.

I signal Eos and Baltoz to follow me and, i hesitate to touch the tree, but after that think of the precarious environment that they had to stay for eons because of me, and just plunge in to give them a warm bed.

Because i closed my eyes i didn't notice the transition but i'm already inside a huge room with a bar full of people drinking different kinds of beverages, tables with people talking and eating joyfully , a chimney and people warming up besides it, a door leading to a kitchen leaking aromatics fragrances of food, and big wooden stairs leading to other floors.

I spot a free table and we sit, after a while a waitress shows up.

“What can i get you cutie pie?” A silver eyed blond elf waitress ask us.

“I don't have much money”

She laughs and point to my ring and a signboard hanging above the bar that says, grey gems eat for free.

“Oh, then bring me the most delicious thing theres in this place, one for each of us” I say wanting to retribute a little to my companions even if i don't pay for it.

“I'll bring it asap” And she walks away not before i notice a head protruding from my ragged clothes.

Ah i almost forgot.

“Can you bring me a little of wolf meat for my pet!” I yell at her.

She nods and continues towards the kitchen.

After a while the waitress comes backs with a silver tray engraved in gold lining, and at top of it theres four plates, with every step she makes fragrance fills my nostrils.

When she finally gets at our table she delicately places the dishes in front of us, oddly every dish is placed from the right side of the respective comensal.

Three dishes are the same, a big steak thinly covered in aromatic herbs, that i suspect carries flavor as well, and the fourth dish is a big raw chunk of meat that's placed on the floor and quickly devoured by you know who.

I start to cut the tender meat and place it on my mouth.

“Its delicious” I exclaim which provokes a laugh from the rest of the people and a big smile from the waitress.

I notice how my newly aquired satiety bar gets full.

I eat a mouthful of meat after another and really appreciate that i came to this kingdom, but while i'm eating i notice Balt and Eos looking at the magnificent steak in front of each of them.

And then it hit me, they can't taste it, they told me and i forgot how heartless i can be!

Seeing them like this makes me renew my resolve to somehow help them.

I accept immediately and call the waitress to please take away the two three plates and apologies to her about the wasted food and later to my companions about my heartless action.

They just shrug it off saying that something like that is nothing but i can note it was.

After that we asked about the room and a big red skinned bald and muscular man with a black beard on the bar give us a key and told us “302”.

I ask the waitress and she tells me that the first digit means the floor and the rest is the room, meaning that the room is on the third floor second room.

I thank her for the information and we head to our room.

The first floor has ten rooms at the sides of a huge hallway, we keep going up and the second floor is the same, we finally reach the third room and head to a door made of wood finelly carved with trees and leaves and a number carved as well, it says 302, i place the key and turn it.

The room is at least ten square meters…wait a second this does not match!.

I head again to the hallway ,and its the same as the others one ten rooms placed on it.

I calculate and nope, it doesn't match, if i go by our room sizes i can clearly see it takes at least 3 rooms.

It has two beds one is a queen size and the other a regular one, a double glass door leading to a balcony and a black metal table with three chairs matching with it.

I open the one of the door and head to the balcony.

The view in the middle of the night is breathtaking.

Small lights illuminate an otherwise dark filled city. The lights are smalls insect that illuminate whatever is near them, theres thousand of them, on the trees that make up the nobles district, illuminating the scenery in a vivid and beautiful green.

I don't know how much time passes but i'm captivated by the view, and so are my two friends.

We can't stop looking.

But finally the sleepiness beats me i tell goodnight and drop on the single bed instantaneously passing out not before promising myself to watch it tomorrow again.
