Text types (this isn't story related, it is how characters convey information)

Normal conversation - "My name is Li Xianyi"

Character is thinking - My name is Li Xianyi

Voice Transmissions - "My Name is Li Xianyi" - I will italicize the entire part of the text and mention that it is a voice transmission at times

Stressing words - "My name is Xianyi" - I sometimes italicize a word, or in chapter 6, a large part of the speech, this is to show that the character is stressing that word heavily, or in chapter 6's example, Xianyi is singing the italicized verse.
