Jax lay in his bed thinking of his life. His childhood was free he had an upper-middle class family so lived freely as a child. His intelligence made him able to cruise through life. Searching for a passion he came across many things, martial arts, science and math but the passion always faded.
Becoming a stock trader he lived with money but was alone. His lack of passion led him to become become estranged from his family and he sank into depression. In his opinion life had too many rules and he longed for the worlds he saw in anime’s like one piece. At this moment Jax knew he was about to die. In this final moment he wished with all his heart to leave this world and in his next life’s live in one like one piece where he could become strong then live however he wished. As his prayer ended his vision faded and he felt something pulling him. As this was his end he let go.

Jax awoke to these messages coming through in a mechanical voice. The messages stirred Jax and his groggy consciousness was incable of understanding what wasn’t going on.
“Why aren’t I dead?” His thoughts then turned to the messages he received.
“It appears like a transmigration or reincarnation novel plot” thinking this he attempted to observe his surroundings but felt like he could not open his eyes. It was a strange feeling like floating in water but the solution seemed to be thicker as if it was pushing against him more.
At this moment his eyes felt an influx of light and sound. Blinking a few times he looked around, himself eyes slowly adjusted the woman who was holding him was worried as he was not crying,she struck him on the butt and Jax shouted “what the hell was that for” but all that came out was the crying noise of a baby. The nurse seemed relieved and he was placed in the arms of a beautiful young lady whom he assumed to be his mother. She gave a slight smile as she looked at him and he looked back. In her eyes was a deep love the maternal love only a mother could give.

Jax felt moved by this and he lay in her arms. As he took in what was going on he made a promise to himself that in this life he will cherish his family and be strong enough to protect them. In this life he would live as he wanted this time he would live without regrets.
