After fixing the dilema of getting clothes by getting them from Dagothur, i sat down on my bed and started thinking of what i should do till i fall asleep. I tend to have bad cases of insomnia when im not in a place i deem safe subconsiously. Its very annoying cause my Ma drilled her paranoia into me at a young age and now i can never sleep easy.

I decided id start by meditating and trying to increase my connection to the Force and start infusing the rest of my body with Ki. Maybe even try to sense mana. Whats the difference between mana, the Force, and Ki anyway? I should contemplate the differences, maybe ill get some wisdom and intelligence gains.

So to start with, ill focus on Ki as that seems the simplest to outright understand out of all the energies that i know of.

So from what i understand, ki is a lot like the Force as it seems that they both have a form of sentience. The difference between them however is their capabilities in the manipulation of matter and the elements. While with mana you can control almost all elements as long as you understand the concept behind said element, such as its composition or how said element is made by nature. Same with the elemental forms of ki, except with ki you really have to depend on the insights that nature and the heavens give you. Seems ill have to depend on Natural Insights for ki instead of supposed gods and the Heavens. I dont really trust those that claim to be gods. Or those that claim to be messengers of Gods.

From what i understand of ki from wuxia and xian'xia novels is that ki is a force that comes from the heavens. The more someone cultivates, the more the heavens would fight against that person, thats why the heavens send people who reach a certain level in cultivation a tribulation. The Heavens seem to have rules as well however, they can only send tribulations upon those who reach a certain cultivation, and the Heavens can only do it a finite amount of times upon one person. Also the more insights a person gets into the nature of Ki itself, the more pure their Ki will be along with increasing the chances of nature itself defying the heavens and helping the cultivator survive tribulations. I also know that somehow ki can affect and strengthen your soul, but fuck if i know the specifics on that. Fuck this is so much info. Im making my brain hurt just remembering it.

You know that burning feeling you get on your skin if you accidentally touch something too hot, like a stove or fire, or a cars engine. Yeah now imagine that coming from everypart of your body, every miniscule molecule, from your very being. Then imagine it being a thousand times more painful. Im suprised i didnt die from shock, but that might be because of my mental endurance and increased body stats from breaking through. Im really hoping that i dont go through that every time.

Now as i get up slowly and try to get used to my newfound strength and agility, i turn on the shower and clean up.

I go back to the bed and start meditating while contemplating the Force.

The Force, just like Ki, is more of a sentient energy given off by everybeing. I suppose the same could be said about mana.

The Force has three side behind it. The Light side, The Dark side, and the Universal side. Each force power can fall underneath any of the three sides.

For example, my Ki-Force healing would count as a lightside power.

Force choke would count as a darkside power.

Finally, the Jedi Mind-trick, Force reinforcement, and Force Push would all count as universal force powers.

According to the Jedi and Sith masters, there is no coincidence or luck, only the Force. If that were true, that means that the Force affects every minute detail of existence causing those strong in the Force to be considered more lucky than those who are weaker in it. That the Force works through us and leaving impressions of our passing and affecting the people and things around us. Like Darth Revan did to the Republic Fleet after the Mandalorian Wars and eventually when he worked with Bastilla, Carth, Juhani, Jolee-bindo, Zalbaarr, and the others to find the StarForge and defeat Malak. Same with how Luke Skywalker channeled the Force to destroy the DeathStar.

For understanding part of the nature of the Force, your sensitivity and control of it has affected your luck stat and adding the Force Channeling skill.

Force Channeling affects how the Force works through you, making you both more powerful in its use, and increasing the effect it has on everything around you, good or bad. This is a passive skill.

You no longer have the luck stat, but you have gained 130 Force points as compensation.

Meditation has increased to Novice 2.

Force Channeing is at Novice 0.

Well thats awsome. Too bad i dont know as much about mana as id like. Maybe tomorrow when i go for training with the others, theyll teach me along with how to use this worlds weapons.
