Chapter 11
The next morning, Vincent woke up and left his room. Before he had left his dimension though, he had made sure to leave his 8 daily shadow clones to practice his ninjutsu and chakra control for him.
The result of his clones’ training were quite satisfying to say the least. A couple of years ago, his chakra had increased enough to create 8 shadow clones, each with enough chakra to continue their training for an entire day. Soon he would even be able to have 10and maybe even 12! While that may seem like a small number, he was having them train for a whole day, a time period not to be casually used. The speed at which they trained helped him out to exhaust his chakra and then replenish it, causing his chakra reserves to increase at a pretty brisk pace.
In terms of jutsu, he had his clones make shadow clones of themselves and they then have those clones look through Naruto the anime and manga so as to try and gain insights into the different types of jutsu instead of just buying them with C-points. The results were earth shattering. It seems that the reason for his high compatibility with chakra was making itself known once more. Just by looking at explanations given in the source material, the clones managed to replicate the jutsu and even create their own unique ones. Of course, it took a few months to see any results, but it was still an incredible discovery.
For example, one of the clones managed to replicate a rasengan. He then tried adding the lightning element to it and after a lot of failed attempts, he managed to get a result that was a jutsu that carried the same amount of juice as a chidori and yet the same amount of destructive power as a rasengan. Mike wasn't good with names, so he just called it “rasendori”. (B: Best naming sense.) The juts still had some kinks to work out, but it was a start.

Another clone remembered how the chakra paper felt damp during the initial chakra test, and now that the amount of chakra and chakra control had improved, it decided to use one of the remaining nine chakra papers from the 10 pack. He found out after testing it out that Mike was actually compatible with water as well. It seems that Mike just hadn't trained enough to make his natural affinity to water noticeable yet. This got the clones thinking that maybe if they trained in the other elements then they could possibly gain an affinity with them. The clones haven't had a breakthrough with this concept yet, but they are still trying to achieve it as they train.
Also, Mike decided to buy the mind transfer jutsu of the Yamanaka Clan. He thought that, "what if the clones could transfer their minds to his body and train his taijutsu?" The results were a success. As long as Mike went back to being Vincent, his clones had no problem taking control of his body and training with it. As long as the clone’s body didn't disappear, then it didn't matter how much Mike's body was put to the test.
(B: Here's the description of the Jutsu. Only ranked if there are higher levels, not based on their power. Cost is a better indicator of how strong/useful.)
Mind Transfer Jutsu
Origin:Naruto
Description: Yamanaka Clan's jutsu that allows for the ability to take control of another's body. Consciousness transfers to target’s body. User will still die if original body is killed. If mental strength is stronger, thenjoy transfer will be unsuccessful and the user will suffer rebound.
Cost: 3000 C-points
The ninja training was by far the one with the most progress out of the 3 types of enhancements Mike had gained. The only downside though is that Mike couldn't really use it against his enemies in this world since he would be mostly fighting akuma. If he used anything other than his shinigami or anti-akuma weapon to defeat them, their souls would most likely be lost forever...

Back to the main plot...
After Vincent left his room, he went downstairs to where his 3 escorts were happily chatting and eating breakfast. They noticed Vincent walking towards them and greeted him.
John: Took you long enough.
Sophie: Calm down, we barely woke up 20 minutes ago. It's not like we had to be up by a certain time. Did you sleep well Vincent?
Vincent: Yeah, it was a pleasant night.
Russell: Hey Vincent, why don't you order some food. It's on us.
Vincent: (Well, they're the ones that offered...) Sure, thanks.
10 minutes later…
Everyone Other than Vincent: ….
Vincent: Thanks for the food, hm, what's the matter?
Russell: ...I see you have a big stomach. *cough* Anyways, let's start walking towards Lysa. Oh yeah, Vincent?
Vincent: Yes?
Russell: Why is your hair turning white? It was barely noticeable yesterday, but now it's a whole strip of your hair.
Vincent: Wha-!?
Vincent ran back upstairs to the room he stayed in last night and checked his image in a mirror.
His hair was starting to turn albino...
Though Vincent had been shocked by the discovery, he didn't really have any way to find out what was the cause. Though he speculated that he had somehow been implanted with the memories of Nea Walker, he didn't know for sure. He tried asking ES, but she didn't know. He then tried asking CE, but all he got was this pop up.
CE: It would be cheating if I told you...
It seemed that CE was refusing to give him answers. Frustrated, all Vincent could do was put the matter to the back of his mind...
2 hours Later on a Train About to Disembark from Lysa Station….
Russell: So Vincent, you excited to go to headquarters and get started on your path to becoming an exorcist?
Vincent: What exactly do I have to do to become an official exorcist anyways?
Russell: Since you're so young, you'll most likely first be tested by someone at headquarters to evaluate your potential and then be assigned to either a group or a teacher. Most likely though is that when you go into headquarters, your innocence will be examined. Don't worry, it's not like it'll hurt a lot.
Vincent: (At least Kamui from the original world won't be messing with my arm... probably. He should still be too young to be allowed to mess with me even if he is here.)
Sophie: I'm sure you'll be placed as an apprentice to a high level exorcist considering your talent. We'll miss you, so don't forget about us once you're famous. (hug)
Over the last 2 hours, Vincent had made quite the impression of Sophie. He was younger than her by about 7 years when she first joined the Black Order, and yet he still managed to act way more mature than she who had been hailed as a genius. Also, since he was also being made to join the Black Order at such a young age, she could easily relate to his situation, making it so that she grew a whole lot closer to Vincent than her two companions. After all, the majority of exorcists that joined the Black Order did so in their mid-teens at the earliest. Only someone who had resonated with innocence during their childhood could understand the pain and grief that came with doing so...

Dreams or Another World - Not a Zero (Update 09/19/21)
(Updated 09/19/21) Hello and welcome. If you made it this far and the book title sounds interesting, I'm hoping you'll read a few chapters. Here's a sample from chapter 1 of "Dreams or Another World - Not a Zero."Slowly starting to wake up, I become aware. It's like coming out of a fog.Head hurts.Body hurts. There's a conversation in the room. This isn't my bed. Someone is touching my arm. I crack my eyes to look. She doesn't notice. Is she praying for me? Her hands do feel good…do feel... Slipping back unconscious, my eyes slowly close. I didn't notice the soft green glow under Jenn’s hands.*******************"It does look like he saved them or at least stalled them long enough for us to get there." says the man dressed more like a park ranger than an officer of the law. "I did think he was part of it at first" he continues "but the evidence shows he wasn't there and they were certainly fighting on that back road where we found them""I don't care who he is." says a woman as she enters the room. "He saved and protected my Jenn. I will make sure there's not a mark or a scar on him before he leaves". As she continues the few steps over to the men speaking, even though dressed simply in common clothes, there is no doubt the race of elves is in her heritage. The grace and lines of her form. The elegance and lightness of her step. She glances at her daughter, still watching over the young man in the bed. "Do we know who he is yet?" she asks no one in particular."Not yet dear" a man in a white coat responds. A handsome middle-aged man. Fit, but not that of a fighter or ranger. "I asked Talon to bring another identification stone with him. I was hoping ours was just broke, but it's reading the same.""What do you think is wrong?" Talon asks."I'm thinking we just have to wait until he recovers. I have heard of cases where the stone didn't work. Powerful spells can hide or wipe a person clean. I doubt he's a spy or a criminal. Spells like that are just too high level if, they're used at all. My best guess is, there is just some disconnect with him being unconscious. When he wakes, we can ask him or use the stone again then."I find myself waking up in a hospital bed. The attending Doctor finds it odd that he cannot identify my class. An Officer says I’m a Hero for saving a girl from being kidnapped, but he’s asking too many questions for my liking. I know an accusing tone when I hear it. I don’t remember any of it and I need to find my way home.Author’s notes. Original work. First draft and update of chapters 1-16. Inspired by various fantasy games and books. Written with a focus on character development and interaction. Combat, progression, leveling, classes, but no numbers or stats. I’ll try to keep the language clean, PG-13, no smut. I’m in the US, writing in English. Almost fifty chapters are completed as I pen this introduction. I intend to complete this story or at least bring it to a proper ending. I have a destination in mind. I find as I write, doors and ideas open, while others close and are discarded. The tentative release schedule will be once a week. I'm new to creating. My apologies now while I learn. I have not settled on a book cover or artwork, still looking for something that fits. Registered & Protected #20VjeKDv2U6nynW6

Collision of Myths
You all have probably heard this one. A hero is summoned from another world and is needed to defeat evil. That's all well and good. But this story is not about him. No, this story is about His younger brother who has been reincarnated as one of his descendants. And he's bringing with him all the myths and cultures from the other world with him. His journey will be one crazy turn after another. But it looks like he's just the person to accept the challenge. P.S. This is my first time writing stuff like this so go easy on me with the comments. I may also need some help with spelling and grammar. Image by Gerd Altmann from Pixabay

Skinwalker / War Chief
A System Apocalypse Fan Fiction I started reading Litrpg about two years ago. I fell in love with Tao Wong's System Apocalypse series. He is an excellent writer and I loved his world building, but when the second series arc went elsewhere It kind of lost me a little. I wanted to create a little parallel world that was very familiar to his fans but skewed off in a different, darker direction. If you haven't read Tao's work, you're missing out! Look him up on Amazon and read The System Apocalypse. One of the best in the genre.
