Chapter 25
Last time on Dragon ReRo, the notorious author known as writerd101 left his super supportive followers on a cliff hanger, simply giving them the impression that something terrible had occurred to the main character, Vincent Nine (aka Mike Unknown). Little did they know that in reality, his plot armor is way too thick, most likely due to the fact that he has to have plot armor in the first place in order to get a story of this quality written about him by me. Now, back to the story.
Story
Heroines: Vincent!?
Because Vincent wasn't really paying attention due to CE’s interference, it was quite easy for the level 4’s to appear right next to him and launch a surprise attack. If it wasn't for his super high stats, which will be shown at the end of this chapter, he would have easily died right then and there, ending any chance he'd have of becoming an OP mc.
Road: Aw, why was it so easy to get rid of him? I wanted to enjoy toying with him until he kept on screaming and screaming for days-
Vincent: You are one fucked up girl. (Screw her, she went too far. Sorry, but you're not going to be a heroine in my story. No way I'm getting one that is this bat shit crazy... Ezra doesn't count. Well… maybe someone like Yuno from Mirai Nikki, but then I'd have to restrain her too much and I-) Shit! *boom* Let me finish my inner thoughts!
Klaud: Language!
Vincent: Sorry, but I'm kinda busy right now! *bang* Why are they all going for me!?
Klaud: Whatever, after this, we're having another talk young man. Lau, let's go help out.
Lau: *monkey noises*(Alright.)
Alex: Lenalee, we should go to.
Lenalee: Right.
Tim: Ughhhhh, this is gonna be a pain in the ass, isn't it.
Takeo: Yup.
Erin: Looks like it.
Tim: *exhales* Screw it, let's go and make sure nothing happens to the girls, otherwise our ending might not look pretty. I can see the kid already giving us the evil eye, and I don't know about you, but I don't want to piss off the 13 year old who can survive being ambushed by whatever new type of akuma those are.
And with that, the most epic battle in the history of Black Order occurred. A group of highly trained elite exorcists against 3 of the Noah and an army of high level akuma was about to begin. It would be a fierce battle, most likely full of bloodshed, death on both sides, and a- Oh, there goes Tim.
Tim’s anti-akuma weapon was a golden pen that allowed for whatever he drew to come to life. Of course, what he could bring to life was limited to the amount of faith energy he had and his resonance with his innocence, but he was a well trained veteran, making it so that he could at least summon a few flying weapons to help level the playing field. Of course, even if there was an overwhelming amount of weapons, the strength of each one was only enough so that they could take care of level 3’s. Tim accidentally brought the attention of one of the lvl 4’s to himself when he strayed a little bit too close to it, so it instantly made quick work of him. Sadly he had been a bit too preoccupied watching a certain someone's jiggle physics.

Time: ...Worth it. *cough*
Erin/Takeo: Tim!!!!!!!!!!!
Klaud/Lenalee/Alex: !!! He's dead!?
Vincent: Oh no, he's dead. (...I didn't want him to actually die, I just wanted him to stop ogling Klaud’s tits... Well, he wasn't all that bad, he at least tried to protect everyone... I'm sorry, rest in peace you-) Let me finish mourning! Do you know how hard it is to say goodbye while having to deal with this many lvl 4’s!
?: Oh, you actually recognize them. Tell me, how do you know about them? I was positive that the Black Order had absolutely no idea about them.
Vincent: That's for me to know and for you to not have to worry about for much longer since you're gonna be dead soon. (Ana, how's that merging going? I can't stall for much longer, I need that well timed power boost. Any second now… You know how tiring it is for me to be in this mode!!!)
Halfway through the fight, Vincent had gone into his ex-shini mode, allowing him to actually dodge the first few attacks of the lvl 4’s and even manage to injure some of them. Even if his capacity for both faith and soul energy had gone up, it was still tiring to continuously dodge a bunch of high level akuma.
Ana: (Sorry, I'm almost done synchronizing. Besides, this is literally making the innocence a part of your soul, this is pretty much gonna guarantee you 100% resonance with it without any side effects. Just hang on a little while longer.)
Vincent: (Easier said than done. The only reason no one else died after Tim did is because I've made extra sure that no lvl 4’s are targeting anyone besides me.)
Ana: (Just 1 more minute...)
Road: Oh, this is boring. Hey, do you guys want to go and help them out.
?: I guess I'll go test out the boy's strength.
??: I'll wait a little bit.
Vincent: Oh great, the fat one's coming over. Go away, I don't have time for you!
?: Hey, I'm just big boned!!! Just stay there and get mobbed to death!
Vincent: !!! (Oh my god, he can control my movement!? Now that I think about it, I don't even know who he is. Is he an original Noah!?)
That's right. This particular Noah was indeed an original of this world and had the ability to control a person's movement through the use of chains, binding them in place. (A: That's all I'm saying, I don't want to give any more background about this minor antagonist.) And with Vincent’s movements completely sealed off, he could do anything to stop the attack made by the group of lvl 4s. His only way out would be if he were to somehow gather the power of friendship and forcefully-
Ana: (Vincent, I finished integrating with it.)

Or just the usual mc power boost. Whatever works.
Vincent: (About time!) Now, let's see what changed. !!! Oh, me likey~
Vincent’s zanpakuto no longer looked the way it did before. It was now way longer and constantly moving vines etched into the blade seemed to be moving about as if they were alive. On the hilt of the blade was the golden seed that was most likely where all the faith energy was kept separate from the soul energy. When the blade appeared with a golden glow, every pair of eyes on the battlefield instantly looked towards it as if they were drawn to its magnificent glory. The exorcists looked at it with eyes full of hope, the akuma looked at it as if it was the bane of their existence, and the Noah exchanged glances that made people feel that they were asking each other “what the heck is that?”
Vincent: (Ana, be honest, you were waiting for that exact moment, weren't you?)
Ana: (Maybe, but I got you those reactions, right?)
Vincent: (I am so gonna beat your ass down and then drag you to the bedroom after this...)
Ana: (You'll have to deal with all of this first before that though… So, hurry up and finish it.)
Vincent: (Yes ma'am!) *dbz power yell*
?: W-what is he doing? His power, I can't control him anymore! How is this possible!!!?
Lenalee: Wow, Vince-niichan is glowing!
Klaud: What did the kid do this time?
Alex: He better teach me how to do that afterwards... Actually, it kinda looks dumb...
Road: No! You're supposed to die an insignificant bug, you can't just grow stronger like this you damn cockroach!!!
Vincent: Too bad, cause I'm doing it. Now, Steel fangs devour all!!! (I should really practice just chanting in my head...)
After finishing the chant, Vincent’s Zanpakuto stabbed itself into the ground and simultaneously steel spikes popped out, skewering nearly 80% of the akuma, including all of the lvl 4 ones. Of course, Vincent made sure to send some of them to his spatial farm when he was sure no one was looking. There was no way he was gonna give away free upgrades.
System: Due to the discovery of higher lvl species: akuma, every akuma in your storage has been upgraded by at least 1 lvl up to the maximum lvl 4.
Vincent: (...Worth it!) *cough* That took more out of me than I thought. Oh, I even managed to stab the fat one. Lucky~ his body is covered by a bunch of blades, so no one can see his corpse. I'll be taking that~
System: Do to the discovery of foreign entity: Noah, you can now absorb its ability. Gained: Noah Ning’s imprisoner ability.
Road: Ning… You!!! I'll kill you!!!
Vincent: So he did have a name… (Oi, why is she giving me a bad feel- Oh, sh*t.)
Road: Killkilkillkillkillkillkillkillkillkillkill…
Klaud: ...I've got a bad feeling about this.
Road: Ahhhhhhh!!!!!!
Vincent immediately put 2 and 2 together once he saw Roads state of mind and remembered what CE had told him... Road had awakened.
??: ...I should get out of here. It's way too dangerous. Sorry Road, but you can't tell friend or foe in this state. I'll be sure to avenge you though… goodbye dear cousin. Vincent… I'll be sure to get back at you for what you did to my family today.
With those parting words, the skinny boy left the area as fast as his legs could carry him. No one pursued or noticed him for that matter considering that they were all too busy struggling to stand under the ominous and formidable pressure Road was giving off. Her veins seemed to be entirely black as they pulsated in an extremely grotesque manner. After about 20 seconds of this, her veins exploded as blood gushed out, seemingly changing the form of her body into that of a nightmare. The end result was that Road no longer resembled anything that could be classified as a girl. Not even a monster would fit the bill. Wait, there is one word that does. Demon. A blob of pure dark liquid nearly the size of a house, with its very presence disturbing the very dimension it was in, causing tiny cracks to appear in it here and there. It's red eyes were enough to scare a normal person to death, and they contained a boundless rage within. At this time, Vincent had only one though go through his mind.
Vincent: (I might really be f*cked this time...)

Yin-Yang
Mages in North America seem to have it all – typically from well-off families, and able to manipulate their environment in ways most of the world would never believe. They don’t even have to bother with the mundane details of life like housework, thanks to their sensitives, who also make a useful source for extra magical energy. After all, sensitives have no use for it themselves, and if mages weren’t meant to make use of it, then the sensitives would obviously have some way to prevent that. That a mage can transform a sensitive physically, with no restrictions beyond overall mass and basic biological viability, whereas magic tends not to work directly on any other living thing, is only further proof. And look at the way they live on their own, barely a step above animals. It’s better for them to belong to a mage. Sensitives in North America live on the edge of society and survival – typically so paranoid they avoid hospitals and anything else that could lead to being tracked, many of them with little or no education and no legal identity or existence. Mages exist, and mages want sensitives for some reason, but no one ever comes back to explain what that reason is. Waiting every day for the hunters to notice them doesn’t lead to much motivation or hope for the future. And once they’re captured, they’re the property of someone with a terrifying amount of power over them. Anything is better than capture. Mages are born to be the masters, and sensitives are born victims. Or are they? Jax’s life is turned upside-down when he’s caught by the hunters and sold to a mage. Andreas is still mourning for his previous sensitive, though, unconsciously creating a difficult standard for Jax to live up to, all the more so while still struggling to come to terms with this new reality as Andreas’ sensitive. A runaway sensitive isn’t what Van expects at the mental health centre. Is this a hunter trap, set for him and the rest of the Donovan family by the hunters? The hunters would, after all, love to see them cross the line openly and finally do something they can be charged with. Either way, Miranda’s genuinely in trouble, and he can’t just abandon her to it. Snatching a sensitive out from under the hunters and hiding her is odd behaviour for a mage – but then, Catherine is an odd mage, living in disgrace in the old servants’ quarters of her grandmother’s house, responsible for cooking and housework. Lila owes Catherine her freedom; is there a way to help Catherine achieve her own, and at what price? Tension is building between traditionally-minded mages and those advocating change, and something has to break. *** Yin-Yang includes a small amount of profanity and no graphic sex or on-screen physical violence. However, sex and gender roles and relationships within the mage/sensitive subculture are non-traditional in mainstream North American terms. The key criterion in a primary relationship is not relative sex or gender, but the pairing of mage and sensitive; given the transformation of sensitives by their mages, physical sex is non-absolute for a sensitive, and gender identity can vary as in anyone else. *** *** The way mages treat sensitives is extremely varied and, in some cases is outright abusive. The struggle against that is pretty much the point of the book. It is NOT grimdark or misery-porn! However, if you will be triggered by this, please, don't read Yin-Yang! *** Complete stand-alone novel, 153K words! Also available on Scribble Hub and as a free ebook.

Gods of Arkanoth
The hunter has been betrayed, left alone in the streets of a lugubrious district. Only one goal appears in his eyes: to avenge himself. In his quest to avenge himself, he'll encounter an enigmatic scientist who seems to hide his true nature, a savior pretending to be a God, and the terrible truth of those words, bringing him against something he'd never thought he'd have to affront. This is the odyssey of the hunter, in a quest to put a long overdue end to a war between two worlds. // What to expect:The beginning will surely be intriguing, most of what's happeing won't be directly explained, although there will be some hints about their true roles, but do not worry about some subjects never leaving that misty fog that is unanswered questions! The novel is divided in two parts, the first focusing on uncovering the well-hidden secrets the city of Arkanoth hides, be it concerning its making or its inhabitants. As for the second part, it will be an expedition into the unknown, we could, in a way, say the true start of the journey our three heroes will undertake! I won't say anything more about the second part or else I might tell you an important detail without realizing... As for magic, because yes, there is magic! Although you might not see the shadow of a spell in the first chapters, it will appear in later chapters and will be one of the main subjects of volume 2. There are three heroes, yes, but they will not appear directly. While the first two protagonists appear in quite the beginning, the third will take his time, taking some stroll in the Districts of Arkanoth while we focus on the story of the hunter. But that does not lessen his importance in the story a bit, trust me. What about these three heroes, you say? Well, they all have their own issues, from their character to their torments, and as the story progresses they will have to come clean with their past (character development is to be expected) and will find their reason for fighting, braving all odds. I draw my inspiration from mythology, more precisely Aztec mythology. I want to stay true to a certain extent about it and all the relations between the gods and their role, however I will still change some things to my liking, so do not expect for all of the mythology to be respected to the letter. Finally! I have to say English is a foreign langage for me, so I might not choose the best words or straight-up miswrite something, if it bothers your experience, just tell me in the comments and I'll look into it! It is also my first time writing a book, so some parts might seem sloppy, but I hope I will be able to improve throughout this journey so as to give the most enjoyable reading experience to you. // Who might enjoy this story: Firstly, if you like deep lore and stories in which past plays a big role, you will like how everything unravels to show the hidden truths of the world. However if you do not appreciate not instantly understanding what's happening or who - or even what - this person might be, then you might not appreciate the story. There will be disturbing and gore descriptions, so if you're sensitive, don't like reading about someone being beheaded and such, you should probably pass this one. There is strong langage, although I won't abuse it, I won't be lying saying no insults will appear. Finally, the heroes will not always win, they will sometime lose battles, be it important ones or unimportant, and they will, most of the time, not come out unscathed from those. // Time Schedule : once every two sundays at 7:pm Ps : feel free to tell me if something is bad, or feel wrong with the book, it really helps me. I've written till' chapter 4 (in my mother tongue, so I'll still have to translate), however I'll make some minor and major changes, thus it will take some time to post them. Schedule will probably not change after releasing chapter 4, so don't worry, it won't take even longer to post a chapter than it already is. Enjoy the ride :)
