Prologue: A Hero’s Story

Once upon a time, there was a man who, accidentaly or not, was summoned in another world in order to become a [Hero]

The man, unable to go back to his previous world, didn’t have a choice in the matter so he complied with the wishes of the kingdoms.

It was also said that upon defeating the [Demon King], a way to go back is possible. Though the man believed it to be a lie, it was still the best chance he had to return home.

So he become a [Hero].

He slew the demons in his path, leading a party of elite people into the demon’s castle.

And so, the [Demon King] fell.

The man and his party were awarded immensely.

They received everything a man could ever dream of.

Money, fame, women, power…but the man wasn’t satisfied with it.

Because he knew…the moment the [Demon King] died, he knew that there was no such thing as going back to his previous world.

He may have everything. But at the same time, he had nothing.

After the death of the [Demon King], his purpose in this world has come to an end.

Years passed by, the legend of the [Hero] slowly being forgotten.

Without the pressence of the [Demon King], peace didn’t happen. Only more chaos.

Humanity no longer stood united. The other races, forced to submit, some exterminated, some become slaves, some has chosen to hide from the world.

The [Hero], seeing this happen, only sighed as he, himself, already knew this to happen.

He did nothing and simply lived his life peacefully in a corner of the world, away from anyone.

There, he simply waited for his age to grow and die old.

Happy ending? No, there was no such thing.

There was simply death.

And a new beginning.
