I pulled out the stake on the Yatagarasu’s head after I confirmed that the Yatagarasu’s heart had stopped beating, just before I devoured the Yatagarasu I looked at Yuuna and Alice.

“ Yuuna Alice, please turn around and cover your ears and eyes. “ (Kagero)

“ ......I understand. “ (Alice)

“ eh, why ? “ (Yuuna)

“ Yuuna-chan, let’s follow what Kagero-san tell us to, okay ? “ (Alice)

With that Yuuna and Alice turn around and cover their ears and eyes while squatting, the reason why Alice obediently did what I said was probably because she already saw just how gruesome my devouring scene was. Didn’t you already saw it once, just a while back ? I said this in my mind while complaining but since Tsurai, herself, wanted to see it then I would show her. I generated two eater tentacle and enlarged it.

With one bite I devoured the Yatagarasu’s head, lots of blood spurting out but I didn’t stop. Next on the menu was the wings, as I devoured it sounds of blood spurting, bones breaking, tendons ripped apart and skin torn resound all over the castle. After the wings, I devoured Yatagarasu’s all three legs, at this point I already forgot myself, the thick smell and taste of blood numb my mind, all I could think of was to devour the Yatagarasu and took all it have to offer.

With the legs devoured, I split open the Yatagarasu’s stomach and generated more eater tentacles, like a hungry packs of vultures my tentacles devoured the Yatagarasu’s organs. Hearts, lungs, liver, I devoured all of it. As the last touch, I deprived the Yatagarasu’s of all it’s blood. As the last drop of the Yatagarasu’s blood entered my tentacle , I finally returned to my senses.

While still being drenched by blood, I opened my ability menu and saw my new abilities I got from the Yatagarasu. I have to say I got a lot.

Tsurai face was pale and she was trembling. I already expected she would react like this but still it pained me. while still trembling Tsurai hold my hand.

As I was thinking mother walked beside me and said that.

“ mother, do you really think this is safe to be eaten ? me aside, is this really safe for human consumption ? “ (Kagero)

..........I knew I wasn’t a human anymore but it still pretty shocking to hear it straight. But it’s something I could live with, I’m just going to accept it.

“ mother, in comparison, just how much bonuses my tentacles can give if you or Tsurai were to consume it ? “ (Kagero)

“ hmm, lets see, a normal monsters would only give about 1 to 3 bonuses to random stats. A monster like this black crow can give about 5 to 7 bonuses to random stats, now here is where your tentacles is really special, while your tentacles can only give 4 to 7 bonuses, it distributes bonuses to all stats! Even a raise in one stats is already good raising all stats is too much! And we can have this ultimate power up food everyday, with you even a small fry could become the strongest! “ (Risala)

“ but there is definitely a demerit to this, right ? “ (Kagero)

Every advantages comes with disadvantages, the greater the advantages the more terrifying the disadvantages become. This was something I learn after the torture, my tentacles maybe strong but still if my body were to be charred, it would sealed off my tentacles. Truly a simple yet effective way to sealed off my tentacles.

“ well, it’s not a disadvantages but a risk, quite a heavy risk. If you were to consume too much of monster’s meat it would transform your body to a monster, the stronger the monster are the bigger the risk. Well, it’s good that Tsurai and Yuuna have quiet the resistance against monster’s meat but it will be better if we limit on how much monster’s meat, including yours, that we consume. “ (Risala)

“ okay, but at least for today lets cut loose and have a monster’s meat party, since we have this much meat on our hand. “ (Kagero)

I pointed my finger on the Yatagarasu.

“ then I’m gonna searched for drink in this kingdom, it’s been a while since I last have a drink. “ (Risala)

After she said that, mother went down stair on her search for alcohol. With that I started to cooked the Yatagarasu, but even if I said cook I’m just simply going to roast it. first thing I did was plucking all of the feathers and washed it, put stake through it and grilled it with fire magic. After a while, mother came back with a bottle of wine in her hand, just in time as the meat done roasting. At first Tsurai and Alice were hesitating to ate the Yatagarasu’s meat but after seeing Yuuna and mother deliciously eating the meat, both of them ate it and became hooked on the taste at the first bite.

The taste of the Yatagarasu’s meat was excellent, the meat was juicy and the skin was crispy. The usually dry chest meat was full of juice and the tight meat was so tender it practically melt inside the mouth. If I have some flour, eggs and powder spices, I bet I could make an awesome fried chicken with such a meat. Sounds of laughter resound on the roof of the castle, me and family was joyfully eating. But the sound of laughter soon stopped.

Suddenly a big skeleton snake came bursting out of the floor, me and my family instinctively stood up and looked straight at it but we were still surprised and stupefied by how abruptly the skeleton snake came out. Without giving me a chance to react the skeleton snake shot out it’s tongue, wrapping both Alice and Yuuna, the moment it took hold of Alice and Yuuna it slithered down the hole. After a few second I finally acknowledge what was happening, I use [Wings of Yatagarasu] and a black wings came out of my back.

SSWWOOOOOSHHHH!

I flapped my wings and just in a second I managed to catch up with the skeleton snake, I was surprised by how fast my speed was but I didn’t have the time to be surprised.

“ Give me back my daughter and Alice!!! “ (Kagero)

I slashed the skeleton snake tongue with my scythe and I regenerated two more tentacle to caught Alice and Yuuna.

SHHHAAAAAAAAAA!!

With the pain of it’s tongue being cut the skeleton snake escaped deeper to the hole. I stopped in mid air but with the extra weight of Alice and Yuuna and because of I still couldn’t control the [Wings of Yatagarasu] completely, we ended up fell to the hole.

“ KYAAAAAAA!!! “ (Alice&Yuuna)

As we kept getting closer and closer to the ground, I was racking my brain on how to safely land on the ground. I couldn’t extend my tentacles on the walls with this kind of falling speed and I couldn’t use [Wings of Yatagarasu] since I could accidentally accelerate and clashed with the walls. The moment I could see the floor it was full of skeletons, at that moment a flash of what would happen if we clashed with the ground with the speed we were falling flashed on my mind.

“ like hell I’m gonna die!! “ (Kagero)

I transformed both of my hands to magic shooter tentacles, I focused all my magic to my hand and fired a torrent of wind. The torrent of wind completely blown away all the skeleton beneath us and stopped us, with that we safely land on the ground. But once again I was surprised.

“ oh, so you managed to land safely. “ (???)

*shudder*.............weird, the voice I’m hearing was sweet and calming but the sensation my body felt wasn’t calming in the least, an indescribable and oppressive fear was assaulting my body. The fear was almost like a poison, I felt like I could black out any second now, the fear was strong enough to made down to my knee and made me couldn’t look up at the origin of the sound.

“ .........papa, I can’t breath....... “ (Yuuna)

“ .........haa.....haaa......it hurts...... “ (Alice)

Not good, Yuuna and Alice couldn’t bear the pressure............but what should I do ? is this magic or a skill ? with no information on what caused the fear I couldn’t think of a way to deal with it. Yuuna and Alice face became more and more pale and their breath became rugged. Damn it, what should I do ? if this goes on Yuuna and Alice will..........for now, lets just get the hell away from here.

I mustered all my power and use reinforce. After mana covered my body, I could felt that some of the pressure from the fear was lifted.

The voice sound as if it was a little surprised but I ignored it, now that I know reinforce could lessen the fear’s pressure, I wasted no time and covered Yuuna and Alice with my mana, I also used [Mana Manipulation] to completely covered me, Yuuna and Alice body with mana and to made the mana thicker. Yuuna and Alice breath became better and so did their face complexion.

“ hoho, to think you could not only withstand my fear you could also help other endure it. You are interesting, young man. “ (???)

I stood up and lifted my face to the direction of the voice, a figure was smiling at me while sitting with her legs crossed and her hand was on chin, supporting her head. It was a woman with silver hair and golden pupils, her figure was very enchanting, a big breast and butt but with a slim waist. And her face was really beautiful, to the point it was inhuman. But as I became aware to her surrounding I was baffled, she was sitting on the head of a giant skeleton dragon, 3 skeleton snakes was beside her and enormous amount of living skeletons were around her. All the skeletons have a purple colored gas as eyes and a ball of purple gas at the center of their bodies.

“ the.....fuck ? “ (Kagero)

I blurted that out from utter disbelief, I thought I only detected one strong monster down here but what the hell was this army of undead ? was it because of their number were too great it was counted as one big monster ?

“ it has been so long since there’s someone who could endure my fear, let us play a little......with your life. “ (???)

The silver haired woman said that while giggling, she pointed her hand on me and all the skeletons rushed towards me. “ this is bad. “ I was honestly thought that since I couldn’t even let out half of my power and I have to deal with the army of undead skeleton. I took out my scythe and two obsidian tentacles on my back and cover them with my mana.

OOoOOoOoooOooOOOOH!!!!!!

The moment the undead skeletons drew near, I slashed my scythe at them and a slash of pure mana shot out of my scythe. The slash went directly to the skeletons and killed 10 or so of them, it was pretty good result for a slash that didn’t even contain half of my usual power. I kept shooting out more slashes from my scythe and Tridents from obsidian tentacle, but it could only slow down the unending onslaught of skeletons.

“ Yuuna Alice, please hang on a little bit longer, I’ll get us out of here soon. “ (Kagero)

“ ........un....... “ (Yuuna)

“ .........yes..... “ (Alice)

Alice and Yuuna answer me with almost inaudible voice, I really couldn’t waste anymore time here, good for me that I fell near the basement door. I mustered all my mana and shot out a huge mana slash, with the skeletons stopped by the slash I use [Wings of Yatagarasu] and flew toward the door.

“ where do you think you’re going ? we still playing here. “ (???)

The woman suddenly shot out a black ball and the ball was fast enough to caught up with me, with no time to change my hand to arcane eater tentacle I put up my scythe to guard against the black ball. The moment the ball touches my scythe it exploded and the burst of dark magic in it blew me away and made me lost hold on Yuuna and Alice.

BBOOOOOM!!!

“ now, lets resume the game. “ (???)

As I clashed with the wall, the woman said that with an eerie smile. the damage I received from the black ball and clashing to the wall was not small, my whole body screaming in pain and blood was coming out from my mouth. After getting out from the wall, I immediately fell to the ground, the damage and the pressure was too much for my body which had no more strength left in it. I was about to faint but when I looked at the woman’s eerie playful smile as if she was playing with an amusing toy I bite my lips to stay awake, I refuse to die here with every fiber of my beings.

“ shit! “ (Kagero)

As I looked around I saw the skeletons army was closing on Yuuna and Alice. Even with the skeletons army came closer to Yuuna and Alice, they didn’t move an inch, when I look closely Yuuna and Alice were already fainted because of the pressure. Sensing danger closing on Yuuna and Alice, I urged my body to moved but it was useless, my body refuses to listen to me.

“ move! Move, damn it! I need to protect them! “ (Kagero)

I kept trying but still it was no use, the skeletons army already reached Yuuna and Alice as they raised their swords to butchered Yuuna and Alice. “ Will I lose Yuuna and Alice here, to this crazy bitch ? HELL NO!! “ the moment I thought that I could feel my anger reached it’s peak and from this moment on my memory was hazy. All I could remember was a sound of chain creaking from the inside of my head.

Third Person POV

The skeletons army swung down their swords at Yuuna and Alice but before their swords touched them........

CCCRAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSH!!!

Kagero suddenly stood in front of them, with a swing of his scythe all the skeletons army swords were destroyed to pieces. With another swing of his scythe all the skeletons 5 meter in front were all mowed down and turned to dust without leaving any bones. After that Kagero stood there as if he wasn’t even feeling the previous oppressive pressure, his eyes were blank and the white colored mana around him changed colored to blackish red.

What caused the change in him was the malevolent thing in him, the moment his rage reached its peak something awoke in him and causing his change. Not only it caused his looks and mana to change, it also caused his power to raised to an abnormal point. It was strong enough to make the woman smile to vanish and became serious.

With a blank expression, Kagero unleashed a frightening amount of blackish red mana and formed a vortex around him, while some skeletons around him was swallowed by the vortex and reduced to dust, the mana didn’t do anything to Yuuna and Alice. after a while, the vortex getting smaller and smaller as the mana being absorbed by the scythe. by the time the vortex had been completely absorbed, the scythe was enveloped by a terrifying amount of concentrated blackish red mana. he swung down his scythe and with a loud sound a huge blackish red slash shot out from the scythe. After Kagero shot out the slash, he fainted and fell to the ground and the blackish red mana disappear with his consciousness.

ZZZOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUN!!!!!

As the slash sweep through the skeletons army, none of the skeletons was left standing, all was turned to dust. Even after wiping out the skeletons army the slash didn’t stop, it was going towards the woman, looking at the incoming slash even the woman was feeling fear and danger from it. The woman hurriedly conjured a transparent black shield protecting her, her snakes and dragon. the moment the slash and the shield clashed, sparks and lightning came out. It looked even between the slash and the shield but the slash was winning, the slash was penetrating the shield bit by bit looking at that the woman was panicked and enraged.

“ don’t get cocky!! “ (???)

The woman then diverted the slash upward with her shield, the slash broke through the walls and pierced to the sky like a dragon rising to the heavens. The woman was catching her breath on top of her dragon, to diverted the slash to the sky the woman was exhausting a lot of her power, it was proof just how strong that slash was. understanding just how dangerous Kagero were, the woman ordered her snakes to kill Kagero.

Two skeleton snakes rushed to Kagero and just when they were about to sank their fangs to Kagero, a figure leaped in front of the snakes and blew them away with a slash. The woman was surprised when she saw her snakes being blew away. The figure landed in front of the fainted Kagero and a loud voice like a thunder rang out.

“ what do you think you’re doing to my husband and daughter, you BITCH?! “ (Tsurai)

Standing in front of Kagero with her sword aiming at the woman was Tsurai.
