Even thought hestia and i left the school we were still pulling massive amount of attention on ourselves while going through the small city...well hestia was doing that mostly with a ignorant look on her face while i was using my mask to stop more people from stalking us which were still a lot of people 24 i judged,because of that i told hestia to hide her face,but she refused and said that her face was a gift to the world,but was instead really bothering me because every 5 minutes or so some guy would come up to us and start hitting on hestia which never ended very well as hestia would simply use her kinetic powers to slam or trip the person to make them go away or knock them out,the first time it had happened i thought that the people who saw it would learn from the guys mistake,but i was wrong...they are still stupid.

5 minutes later

-Hi,my name is...guuh !

6 minutes later

-Will you..hukk !

8 minutes later

-Can i have your...haaaa..!

4 minutes later

-Marry m...arhhhh !

I watched as the 9th guy flew to the right side slamming onto a wall leaving a very big crack on it too with the shape of his body,the people who saw this were somewhat confused and frightened at the same time some of them looked at us now a bit more careful showing a slightly paled face as few of them started to create a path for us unconsciously,but unfortunately there were a few people who didn't learn and seeing hestia's delighted expression i could tell that she was enjoying this absolute beat down she was giving these poor guys...fortunately we were already at the destination i seek'ed making me prompt hestia further walking inside the library...but as we entered the library a loud voice could be heard yelling a familiar voice at that.

-I AM NOT GOING !

With those words something like a round piece of metal flew towards me in high speed the piece of metal was also very familiar to me as it was about to hit me head on,hestia saw the metal and quickly tensed about to destroy it into oblivion and with that the whole library...

Wanting to stop this nonsense i quickly stopped time just as the metal ball was 3 meters away from me taking it and getting back to my original position while i looked towards the stairs that lead to sera's room...the door was open.

I started time once again making hestia confused at the same time,because of the metal ball until she realized that i was holding it looking at it very appraisingly.

-GET OUT I DON'T WANT TO HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH YOU ! I AM LIVING ON MY OWN AND THATS IT !

The yelling was strong and powerful almost compelling me even which was strange.

Hestia also noticed the yelling and the power that followed those words she suddenly shuddered quietly calming herself she narrowed her eyes tensing up for a moment as she looked towards me asking me.

-You said that we were going to meet your friend,but this voice..

(BOOM)

As she was about to finish her words a loud impact could be heard as a humanoid figure burst out of the door that was leading towards sera's room it was flying and quickly slammed onto the ground leaving a few cracks onto it with dust and small pieces of wood flying around...i looked into the mess a bit more closer to see who it was a bit confused and cautious naturally...vardath ?

It was true the guy that was lying on the cracked ground vardath with his short black hair and brown eyes his attire was that of a butler,but different design as that of stewards as it had silver ornaments on its hems showing a crest...the facial expression was also very usual completely blank,but showing a small battle hungry grin on his face...he is still the battle maniac as usual recovered though...

Vardath is the servant of the silva house specifically loren's attended,but what is he doing here ?

I took a small glance towards the door to sera's room and noticed that she had already closed it shut vardath who was still on the ground also noticed my and hestia's presence moving his head towards us while raising his body up to his legs..hestia seeing vardath was slightly disturbed as she took in a air of caution and readiness...maybe she can feel that he is a dragon ? Do dragons and phoenixes normal get along ? both fly but are different species like lizards and birds personally speaking both or crazy and unreasonable sometimes...but i am not someone who should say that do i ?

I kept that shameless comment on myself and met eyes with the servant of silva i could see a streak of light shine through his brown eyes showing me that he was also getting tense for some reason...was it because of hestia ?I figured that the longer we stand here the longer it is likely that these two are going to wreak havoc.

-Both of you calm down,hestia this vardath he is a servant from another house a acquaintance so to speak,vardath this is hestia she works for me i would like it if you don't start showing that dangerous look in your eyes

Vardath looked towards me with his one eye judgingly...he nodded his head and returned to his expressionless state acting as if nothing had just happened even thought you could clearly see some rips and openings in his uniform there were also the scales on his body that were turning back to human...while i was staring at him i suddenly wondered...does he also have horns on his head like sera ?

From what i could see he didn't seem to have any horns at all which was odd...maybe different dragons transform differently into their human form or only the females get the horns ?

The sudden question made me curious as i wanted to ask vardath personally,but refused to do so as it kinda sounded a bit racial indecent instead asking him a different question which i was also curious about.

-You know sera ?

Vardath raised his eyebrows hearing my question he was about to speak in return,but stopped himself as he closed his eyes and made a small grin...he seemed to be amused which was weird..

-You can go ask herself dawn i will need to go now before the miss starts to bother the teachers again...and by the way i enjoyed the battle we had a rematch sounds really good to me if you agree ?

Vardath said with his monotone expressionless voice walking away while dusting off his clothing...seeing him act like this i wasn't sure how to react so i just nodded to him letting him leave the library...In the end he didn't answer my question.

Hestia and i stood at our positions until vardath left out of ear shot hestia was first to speak as she showed a very bitter face.

-Arrogant and prideful dragons always think their better then everyone else bothersome and never ending hunger for riches...makes you think why all the people in the world actually hate these lizards..

Hestia words were nothing new to me as far as i could see she mostly didn't like half of the people she met or i introduced to,either she is very antisocial or i am just going with the wrong people either way...i wondered what she would say when she meets sera,but back to topic what was that about ?

I thought about it as i made my way towards the stairs up into sera's door hestia followed me closely behind...a bit too close for comfort,but i could see that she wasn't doing that because she wanted to have her fun no she seemed a bit unsure about this for some reason.

I didn't ask her why she was cautious like this and just knocked the door...

-...

Nothing...she didn't come out ? A bit confused i knocked again,but still there was no one opening the door...for the final time i knocked it the third time and then finally the door opened,but with a not so friendly greeting.

-I TOLD YOU DON...dawn ?! oh my god what...ehm sorry where hee ?! who is....

As the door opened sera made a small misconception on who i was and started to get confused cutting through her words,to make it easier for her i started talking instead.

-Well hi sorry for not visiting you for a couple days...i think you lost this again

I smiled a bit amused by her ever so changing expression giving her the metal scrap ball which she recognized and quickly accepted after that we stood like this for about 5 seconds until sera realized that were standing here doing nothing she quickly shook her head and asked us inside.I agreed and so both me and hestia got inside of sera's room sera in question eyed hestia a bit wide eyed for some reason,but quickly avoided eye contact and moved further into the room asking if we would want some tea,coffee or soda.I told her that tea was fine in which hestia responded too.

-I want the cup of coffee then

-ahh...yes...

Hestia stiff and indifferent tone made sera a bit more nervous making me give hestia a narrow eye for a moment showing that i wouldn't tolerate it if she acts like this in front of her.

Hestia caught my gaze and quickly looked away while nodding to me...i could see that she was a little bit hurt by the way i did...i make it up later...i thought feeling slightly bad as sera returned really fast holding a metal platter on which 3 cups of hit liquid stood.

In the end she distributed the cups as we all sat beside the round table.While she was giving me the cup of tea i looked around the room for a moment seeing the same blue prints and tools around the big room and other devices hung or placed onto of shelves and in particular there was a other item that had caught my eye...it was a picture frame with a picture inside which showed sera when she was a child with 2 other individuals female and male they were almost at the same height as sera but had old aged faces and strong muscles with big facial,strange beings called dwarves the master craftsmen i believe.

The picture frame in question looked smooth and clean almost new to be exact making it clear that sera had been taking of it very well since i had fixed it for her.

Finishing my small inspection i looked back towards sera and started a conversation.

-So what did you do over the past few days ?

Sera hearing my question just fidgeted with her cup and said.

-ahh nothing really...i just attended class and worked on my designs...and you ?

-I was actually busy with work the last few days so i couldn't come and visit sorry...on the topic how about i introduce you to hestia here...she works for me.

I nudged hestia from the side to tell her to introduce herself she wasn't very interested to our conversation and just sipping her coffee while looking the other way crossing her legs while holding her chin onto her palm.

Feeling my faint push she turned her head towards sera and said a small "hello" followed by a "nice to meet you" which sera replied with "nice to meet you too" with that ending these two's conversation...

Feeling the pressure of atmosphere getting quiet i quickly tried to pull the control of the conversation and asked something i was curious since the start.

-By the way i saw vardath burst from your door a couple minutes ago slamming onto the floor...the metal ball also flew at me when we entered the building...

Sera immediately blushed red as she heard me leave the sentence like this feeling a bit embarrassed of herself as she asked me.

-So you heard...the...the

-yes i did

I nodded to her without hiding the fact that i didn't hear her she looked a bit bitter when she heard me say it and sighed in the end knowing that i wouldn't actually pressure her to answer me the question she just looked at me and said with a quiet tone regretting tone.

-I don't think i want to talk about that...just yet...

-Its alright i wont ask further then

I said understanding her situation,she also felt relieved to hear that i wouldn't punch her to the question so instead asked her about something that i needed right now changing the subject and the heavy air around here.

-As an artificer can you a build functional eye ?

The question quickly changed the way of the conversation as it picked sera's interest quiet a bit even hestia found it a bit intriguing guessing where i was going with this.Sera also thought for a few minutes and answered my question simply.

-yes,i actually can do that i could also make it humanoid without making it look like a fake,but i would need the person for the eye to measure and compare first...

Sera said a bit suspicious looking at me about to guess why i actually asked something like this out of the blue not hiding it i laid it straight out and told her that i had a small girl without a eye and i wanted to give her the second eye so i thought that sera as a artificer could build something like this ending my story.About the child i only told her that i had saved her and nothing else sera at that point didn't ask further and just told me about the artificial eye in specific which i actually wanted to know and was interesting to listen to.

In the end our conversation was purely about the eye and some small modifications like eye color and functionality it can have such as night vision,zooming or other useful things the conversation was slightly outdraw because i started to describe sera of what the eye should be like having her write it down onto a piece of paper while giving me small pointers and answer to some question concerning the eye.In the end we probably sat there for about an hour or so until i finished with my description hestia and sera both had very different experssion's when it was done one being relieved while the other was satisfied.

Sera told me that i can bring that girl next sunday since tomorrow sera would need to attend a ball...when mentioned a ball i couldn't help but ask.

-Are you going to the senjin house birthday party ?

Sera was surprised when i asked and said.

-Yeah i am how do you know that actually ?

At that i told her about i was also going there as a escort for cecilia hearing me say this sera was slightly disappointed,but didn't say why.I also asked her how she was able to attend that party as i was slightly confused since i didn't know that sera had such connections...

-ahh that actually you see the person who allowed me to live in this room is actually the headmaster of this school alexis silva...it seems like my foster parents knew the headmaster thats how i came here and thats also why i can attend the party since she send vardath to inform me..

The answer was very plausible and i remembered that she had mentioned how she came here making.

We talked for a bit about the party and when we would arrive taking up a bit more time when we finished.Seeing the clock i also suggested that we should leave now pulling hestia to me towards the door and having sera escort us out with a goodbye which i returned,but before we left i stopped in my tracks and remembered something summoning the plasma sword i showed it to sera who was very surprised seeing it obviously knowing what it was even thought i fixed it up into something almost unrecognizable.

-Here it take it,it was a lot of help to me,but i think you need it more than me..

Sera was speechless as she looked at the plasma sword hearing my offer i could see that she was slightly in the favor of taking it,but there was also something that didn't let her take it finally ending up with her closing my palm while shaking her head surprisingly.

-No,i already gave this to you giving it back to me just because it is fixed right now doesn't justify it since i gave it you for a complete different reason so keep it,but actually you come to me sometimes and maybe i can upgrade the handle for you add some things for you...wait i don't even know what it does...never mind no point in explaining show it to me when we meet again...goodbye !

I nodded and told her my goodbyes as she closed the door with a smile on her face...seeing the door shut i looked at the black handle on my hand momentarily...i wasn't sure what she meant by the reason she gave me this item ?It made me think for a few seconds until i stored the handle back into the clavicula making my way down and out of the library satisfied with the way the things were going,but also with a few questions too.While we were leaving hestia also opened her mouth saying some really suggestive things.

-Young master,this little girl is really hiding herself well i never thought that i would meet someone such as her lineage in this little place you even call her a friend which is pretty foolish in my opinion after all she is...

I didn't let her finish the sentence and just raised my palm to stop her from talking...i didn't want to hear more.

-Having her as a friend is not wrong it is true that she is hiding things but i am doing the same thing and just like i said before everyone has their secrets no one needs to know them until the person themselves aren't ready to talk about them...

-So that means you already told her everything about yourself didn't you ?

I froze hearing her say that...seeing my small gesture hestia's eyes just sparked even more as she got her confirmation through my blunder...the air around her also changed a bit disappointed and slightly angry even for some reason...
