I was slightly worried about hestia at the moment not sure where she had gone,but I could always just us the telepathy and ask her really,but I also knew that she probably wouldn't answer I was mainly just worried that she would start creating some kind of scene here...

-Ehm...dawn..

Cecilia who was standing next to me fidgeted for a moment a bit shy.I was slightly confused and turned towards her with a questionable expression on my face...did she want something I wondered.

-you know we are alone...and there is still free space to dance...and...

Her words were in pieces,but I basically understood what she wanted it was sweet of her and also made me warm up from the inside thinking like this I bowed and asked cecilia in a moderate gentle tone.

-Would you like to dance my lady ?

Seeing my graceful and gentle demeanor made cecilia a bit lost for words for a few seconds,but in the end she quickly caught herself and nodded her head smiling happily.

-Yes,of course...

She took my hand and before we left I still had some small thoughts lingering inside of my head...mainly about hestia I knew that she wouldn't cause anything for me so there wasn't really anything to be worried about it was just that...having her not here made me a bit empty from the inside..

-Dawn ?

Cecilia asked puzzled by my sudden stand still...I caught myself and turned to her smiling.

-Its nothing lets dance my lady...

Hearing me say it reassured her slightly,but she wasn't fully convinced still though she nodded her head and also smiled as both of us started to dance with each other...this time I had some amount of experience.

Cecilia and I ended up having a lot of fun dancing,for a moment I lost track of time talking and dancing with cecilia,but still on the back of my head I thought of hestia constantly and could never truly concentrate on what I was saying,cecilia noticed,but didn't ask me about it really,she just tried to have fun with me as much as possible and derail me from my other thoughts.

Leraje was still caught by that venomous woman and hestia had just gone somewhere unknown the aiden family was talking with different people and the silva sisters were enjoying themselves dancing with a few strangers...

The music was changing constantly from slow to fast and fast to slow the movement,sound and different kinds of smells hanging in the air was pretty distracting,but didn't restrain me at all so was my hearing that was catching the sounds of footsteps coming from the main door...it stopped.

At the same time cecilia shook my arm from the side trying to snap me out of my thoughts which worked pretty well as I looked at her with a smile on my face.

-Dawn...come on lets dance again its a slow dance I want to try that please ?

She said showing me a bright smile while trying to convince me into this dance seeing her eager expression I simply nodded my head and let cecilia pull me towards the dancing area the music to this dance was slow and looking around I realized that this dance needed to have pretty close distance from the partner...it seemed to be a little bit different from the last few rounds it also looked very much more simplistic,but kinda embarrassing.

-Are you sure ?

I asked raising my eyebrow while looking at her,she blushed for a second and nodded her head slowly not saying anything,but quickly quickly embracing my neck looking down,I also proceeded and held onto her waist the sudden touch made cecilia shriek,but she didn't complain and just let me hold it like this,I could feel cecilias body curves through my finger tips while stepping around following the rhythm of the music the melody was sweet and soothing cecilia and I didn't even talk anything nor did she raise her head towards me to meet my face,but still it wasn't really awkward for some reason.

-Are you bored ?

Cecilia asked out of the blue,her question was very surprising,but I could understand where she was coming from in which I immediately explained myself.

-No,its,its just that I am not feeling very well I wasn't all too much enthusiastic about the party in the first place so yeah...its not something I do really...

Cecilia nodded to my answer still looking down...her forehead was directly leaning under my throat as we continued to step in a rotation I concentrated and kept on listening to the sound previously until cecilia asked another question.

-Then how about me ?

Hearing her question was confusing it even made me at loss for a few seconds until I tried to clarify.

-What do you mean ?

-I..I mean...do you enjoy being with me ?

For the first time she raised her head towards me the shining light was making all kinds of miracles towards her beauty almost making me swallow too,but not break my concentration...I looked into her wonderful green eyes,in a few years she would probably become a heart wrenching beauty a heiress too with her kind of air she would be considered to be no more less then a true queen or empress...and to honest it was probably because of her that this night wasn't as dull as I thought it would be,with so many unknown people you get left out pretty quickly having cecilia to deal with them is much more easier and in a way she is protecting me like I always protect her as her bodyguard she protects me from the people I don't want to deal with.

She blushed her hands quivered beside my neck as she once again stared down,I didn't mind and continued smiling like always it made me feel at ease and only now I realized how she was a good friend to me...a real friend.

6 years ? Thats laughable she already has what she wanted its only a matter of asking me and thats it,because I believe in her like I do to sera.

This conversation abruptly ended like this,we continued to dance slowly not looking into each other nor moving too swiftly it wasn't awkward as I said,it was pleasant and peaceful.

And then suddenly...my nose...it caught a whiff,the music also ended at this very moment cecilia parted from me and looked up towards me with a bright smile until she realized that I had a very serious and grim expression on my face...she knew or more likely she anticipated why I was making such a face...

This smell...it was familiar...aconite ? So wolfs bane meaning poison..

-Madam stay close to me not under any circumstances you are about to leave my side you understand ?

Dread immediately spread onto cecilias face as she understood what my words meant...something was going to happen...cecilia didn't say anything and just got a lot more closer towards me hugging onto my arm I started to walk towards the smell of aconite in this crowded area...the smell was strong and something that I would never forget it was after all a very potent poison something that I brewed more then once when I was a drug maker.

Left and right we continued to walk some footsteps I could hear behind the door started to move a bit further those were 6 pairs I identified maybe the guards ?,but why are they moving at the same time is someone coming ?

I looked at the door it wasn't budging the slightest bit the 4 guards were also standing as if nothing was the problem..

The more time went on the more I felt as if something was going to go horribly wrong,but I didn't stop and continued to follow the smell of poison finally meeting with the source which was a cocktail...and the owner of the cocktail was senator henrickson the person cecilia talked to at the beginning...he was currently surrounding by 4 people who he was talking to very pleasant on his right hand he held the poisonous cocktail without a clue that it would take his life only after a few seconds dying from asphyxia it is a drug that can't be traced back most of the time...

I narrowed my eyes and started to move a bit faster pushing away the crowd on my way I started to get pull much more attention to myself,but the senator still didn't notice and just as he was about to drink the cocktail I jumped forward and slapped it out of his hand.

(Gasp)

The people were now fully fixated at me and my seemingly outrages move the senator himself was surprised,but didn't look the slightest bit alarmed nor panicked he instead narrowed his eyes and stared at me with his eyes that had suddenly turned deadly...this old man was truly fit to be a senator for the magical community.

-What does this mean ?

He asked calmly fixing his shirt while questioning me his son who was standing behind him was furious with no end the people around us were also very alarmed and were taking a few steps aside some guards were also going forward trying to keep the situation under control...the senjin family they were especially curious of what had happened aiden,quinn and joanna were staring at me with a very sharp look on their eyes each of them having different meanings,but not one of them having an harm just yet.

Cecilia tightened her grip on my arm her heart pounded I could feel it.

I kept my face blank and whispered the old man.

-The drink you were holding was poisoned you were about to drink so I had no choice...

Cecilia grip instantly tightened even more she started looking around a vigilante,not many heard what I had said I wanted to keep it quiet so no one would start panicking and cause chaos...

The other 4 individuals naturally heard what I said,but kept quiet knowing very well why I had said this so low senator henrickson in counter just had wide eyes,but immediately caught himself and stared towards the remains of the broken cocktail his eyes changed into a purple magic circle for a few seconds until he again had a solemn look on his face.

-Is there a problem senator henrickson ?

Out of the blue Aiden appeared out of nowhere he was much faster then the guards were and I could feel a small amount of magic coming from him explaining his speed.

-No,nothing really the lad just tripped thats its nothing serious...I forgave him..

-Oh,I see then its okay

Both aiden and the old man seem to be talking to each other through eye contact while the rest of the guests were just hearing the words...

-Young master...

Another surprise,but this one was a bit sudden and it was hestia...she came back,but the moment she did I immediately noticed that a part of her hand was bloody...the blood was strange it wasn't demon nor human or any kind of blood I knew of that smelled like this...I looked up at hestia and saw her small solemn look meeting my own...we both had some troubling encounters..

Aiden also noticed hestia blink appearance and fixated on the small amount of blood on her hand...aiden immediately pulled out a device that looked like a phone,but it was already too late.

(BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM)

Chaos...immediate explosions started to happen around us I ducked down and shielded cecilia with my body hestia also ignited and created a flame barrier around us burning the incoming debris into ash the people around us were in a state of pure panic guards started to take position some opening fire while others casting their spells and aiden who was basically in the middle of this was calm and collected charging towards his family to keep them safe.

I looked up the explosions came from 4 different sides one from the entrance and the other 3 from the other sides it created a massive hole and in those holes things started to come out flying monsters in specific and those things weren't demons this time....
