《Nomad Dungeon》Chapter 17 - The Dungeon is getting hectic
Advertisement
In an effort to make my dungeon as cost-efficient as possible to preserve my DP for Daily Income.
I had to go with every cost-effective method available.
As a result, My dungeon is so far no more than 7 floors huge
3 floors up and down respectively, with the entrance counting as its own floor.
However, I may have overdone it, as even Oozer the Earth slime has trouble making it to my core.
As a result, I went and created small passageways to my core for each of my 3 monsters, now all three of them reside with my core, with their own ways of getting in and out,
The total cost of my new crafted dungeon had a cost of over 15,000 DP, yes I got too heated and used up most of my remaining DP.
I had intended for my DP to remain over 10,000 for my income, but now it has dwindled.
And my daily income is currently 0.01%, Mr.Tutorial said it would take a long while for it to recover back to the 10% I had before.
He just never stated how long would it take, so I'm waiting for it to recover.
Just from waiting I became bored and started looking for something to do, so I ended up in the Monster's Catalog researching.
Researching what I should have as my new Sub-core monster.
Time passed, I decided to even name the Eye-bat, Gazer, for the Weaver Spider I still haven't decided on a name.
So I just passed time as usual, with my Income recovering, and studying sub-core monsters.
Someone came.
It was just a lone adventurer.
Looks around 25 years old.
From what I can tell, F-Rank?
----
Even though it is just a rank this dude and that Pretty elf, is incomparable.

That elf is capable of pressure to the point of cracking my core.
Is there such a big gap between E and D?
----
----
Aura?
----
----
----
So just a unique ability people gain to get powerful alright.
Now then, where will you go dude?
He begins looking around the cave, and understandably cautious.
He continues heading in deeper until he sees the way leading up and down.
Now, which way will you go?
After pondering for a bit he decides to go down.
hehehe, this is going to be fun.
As he proceeds he is advancing slower and slower as time moves on.
Must be quite experienced in these kinds of situations, but unfortunately, you are not on those dungeons playing field, you are in my harassment field.
After he gets to the next floor, he is becoming really nervous, seriously I can see him shaking a bit, Why?
Is it because of its another choice of left or right?
He is hiding behind every corner he can find to proceed, is not having anything this scary?
Well, he is already in my field, the endless corridors.
No matter how many corners he goes through, he will loop back to the back, I designed it to trick everyone passing through it, but if too many enter then this magic trick becomes a parlor trick.
Ah if he keeps this up he will take 3 days just to loop back to the start.
I decided to just rest. Ah, Mr.tutorial wake me up when that guy gets out of the infinite Corridors.
...
Ok, I woke up and that guy still hasn't gotten out of my endless corridors.
In fact, he is tired, his eye has become bloodshot.
"Frik, Frik, FRIK!!!"
And he is losing his sanity.
On a side note, someone else wandered in.

This person went up instead, now he is stuck in another of my endless corridors.
Both of them are uniquely designed to trick everyone who enters into looping back to the start.
But unfortunately for those two, the above Corridor is a sauna which gradually gets hotter when someone steps in while the below Corridor is a fridge which gradually gets colder.
Huhuhu, I want to see you both run back out, never to come again.
And soon enough the guy below lost it and ran back, yep he got back to the entrance and is running away at top speeds.
Well, he did give me DP equivalent to killing an G-Rank by staying in for a day.
Now I go back to studying Sub-core monsters.
Several days past, F and E rank keep coming in but always leave after staying for 1 to 3 days.
They never get past my Endless corridors, rather its always driving them nuts.
As they all start cursing one way or another.
I sometimes see a familiar face, from previous visitors.
I'm not complaining since I'm getting an Income of DP, but this is worrying as a D-Rank may come over and wreck me.
But according to Mr.Tutorial, it's only because that Elf's Aura is effective against Dungeon Spirits, so in the event, a D-Rank does come, I'll be able to push it back at least.
As long as they are not Specialised like that Elf.

Due to a series of misfortune, the squad is teleported to an alternate land, called Osaethar, that is absolutely no different from reality except for the existence of magic and superhuman strength. Disclaimer (?): This light novel is heavily inspired by Overlord by Kugane Maruyama. Expect a lot of elements that come from it. But I wouldn't consider this fanfiction. Enjoy!
