《Nomad Dungeon》Chapter 19 - D-Ranks in Bulk, is terrifying
Advertisement
I no longer have words for this, after that D-Rank left, a bunch more showed up, This is bad, what if a C-Rank does eventually show up!?
I need to make a sub-core soon to be sure of my survival.
It's Ironic that the more D-ranks come in the more likely a C-rank may as well but it's also because of the D-rank my Income has reached really high levels, to the point I'm already closing in on my once maximum amount 150,000DP.
And my recovery has been stuck at 1% even though a couple of months went by.
I just need to wait this out a little longer, I have already chosen my new Sub-core Monster, and went through as many settings as possible.
I just need more DP, just another 100,000DP.
It sucks since I can only purchase 10% instant Daily Income Recovery when my dungeon core is back to peak condition and even then the costs are 1,000,000DP on its own.
I continue to wait, More D-Ranks keep coming in, It's like an Infestation.
I want to complain, but since they have yet to make it even past my first riddle, they have been going nearly insane just trying to figure it out.
Well, this simple riddle is for stalling and annoying people, giving me precious time.
I continue to wait, and as my DP was closing in on my target value.
She Appeared.
I can never forget her, the one to nearly break me and make me homeless in the first place.
That pretty Elf.
Mr.Tutorial calls her a Specialised Dungeon Hunter, with her skills and Aura, adapted to subjugating dungeon spirits.
In other words, the nightmare has appeared.
hm? Isn't her pressure not as bad as it was in the past?
----
Ah, no wonder these D-ranks pressure never felt as bad as that Elf's Core Cracking pressure.

She begins asking around again, gathering information then proceeding towards my Gate of Wisdom down below.
She doesn't try and break it like most of the other D-ranks and instead starts chanting.
Holding her staff close to herself she continues chanting, it goes on and on.
I was watching in order to be careful of anything she may pull.
Mr.Tutorial Advised me that Dungeon Hunters are not to be underestimated no matter what.
So I had continued this observation without stop, then she stops chanting, rather she looks like she gained enlightenment.
----
Eh?
"A Baby at Dawn, An Adult at Day and An Elder at Dusk, the life cycle of an ordinary individual"
----
THATS CHEATING!!!
The Gate Opens, well that's just one of my riddles, let's see how you fare with the next one.
A dog tells you 'all dogs are liars', is this dog telling the truth?
Now then how will you answer this?
Ah, she begins chanting again, Hey you stop CHEATING!!!
Even as I shout mentally, she just continues chanting.
But then again she just continues chanting without stopping this time.
After a little while, she finally stops chanting and answers.
And the room got flooded, oh?
mm, her answer was 'the Dog is the liar'.
Idiot, the answer is Dog's cannot speak.
After trying a few more times she gives up.
She just walks back and proceeds to the other side, the Gate of Wisdom above this time.
She passes through the first one easily, well, of course, you cheated on this question.
On the other hand, you need to get through this one.
It is superior to Gods and eviler than any devils, The poor possess it, the rich require it, What is it?
She begins chanting again but like last time she stops and answers.
and She got pitfalled.
Her answer was 'heart?'
Its 'nothing', how in the world did you even get the heart?
Looks like even cheating won't save you from this.
Dejected, she begins camping here, trying to figure these out on her own.
Whew, that frightened me quite a bit.
Just a few more days.

Life of a Core
After a disembodied voice had told him he was what amounted to an exceptionally talented rock, it had been hard to not let it go to his non-existent head. Until, random chance had decided to give him a square kick in the minerals. Which had in turn forced him to fend for himself in an unknown land, all while he attempted to make sense of his place in the world. Truthfully though, all he had really wanted to do from the start had been to bury himself a hundred feet below the ground and be left to his own devices. Yet, for one reason or another, nobody ever seemed willing to leave the dungeon-building core alone long enough to actually make one. Each chapter will average around two to three thousand words, the release schedule is still a WIP but you should expect the first six chapters to be released over the next six days. This is planned out as a dungeon building fiction, but don't expect it right off the bat! The story is a depiction of the everyday adventures (alongside an overarching plot) of what I imagine a dungeon core would experience when thrust into a random environment where everything and everyone tried to covet or eat him. I also really enjoy reading the comments and reviews people leave and would love to get some reader involvement with the story itself, likely through polls at the end of each chapter. I hope you enjoy my story! (If you feel like some of the characters seem familiar, you may have read some older work I wrote a while back under a different account. If you happen to be one of my old readers and recognize the similarities, I'm happy to have you back!)

The Tales of the Revolution
Synopsis: As a scholar of science and technology, Joseph Algorith was a man who pursued his dream in unrealistic methods, using his intelligence to surpass all hurdles in this Galactic Era. He was an idealist that combined his thoughts with realism. However, unbeknownst to him in how it had happened, he had gained the opportunity to research a new system, a massive planetoid shrouded in mysteries and magic. However, to fully realize his ambition and creativity, he must save the human race of this magical world, filled with different races and monsters. “The Heavens had forced me, so I shall propose and never will be disposed of.”- Joseph Algorith Spoiler: Basically, he is reborn, with his knowledge as a scientist of the galactic era, into a new world with magic and aura powers. In this world, humans are part of the 7 major races, but two (or three) are planning to enslave them, while the others are watching on the sidelines. His plans are to develop modern weapons to strengthen the human nation because the mages and aura users aren't immortal or have steel flesh even as they get more power to the point they can deal damage of a howitzer using special moves. Though it doesn't mean that there aren't magical armours (and other things)... Extra: I'm not sure if romance will be in this. Depends on whether you, the readers, would like it or how I develop the story further. And there won't be an exact release schedule as I prefer my pace of writing and because I'm busy in life (school and extra activities, FML). If you find any mistakes, please remind me. Also, my writing style and the pace of the story may be slower than other stories you might have read on this website. Though I may make some revisions with the story, considering my editor's thoughts. Also, my story has some concepts from RTW in terms of the idea of creating weapons in a magical world, however, the plot is mine. After reading, tell me, what do you think of the beginning? What do you think your rating would be.?If possible, comment down below anything that could help me improve or to express your thoughts. Lastly, please NO COPY AND PASTE!
