I underestimated Kagami's hunger. On my way to the mountain, I was forced to use up all the minotaur in my 'shade space' before even arriving. All that's left are its bones. I started using orc meat but knowing Kagami's hunger, they will probably be all gone before I can even set up a proper harassment dungeon.

So I'm going through a bit of a predicament while Oozer builds a cave. I began going through a food guide I was able to find in my items catalog. Although going through it gave me quite a few insights about cooking and how to improve the taste, it still wasn't able to tell me how to properly manage a food-crazy blackhole.

That is until I came across a dieting guide. It explained what kinds of food to avoid when getting fit, but doing the opposite of everything this book tells me can work for Kagami. High-calorie foods like sweets are incredibly filling as well as tasty so I thought to purchase some of these sweets.

Problem. Oddly enough, although I can purchase the finished product it always tastes bland no matter what. It's not bad but it can never good. Even the small sweets end in either me or Kagami spitting them back out so I had no choice but to make them by hand.

It took some time but I was able to make a standard cake, it had a great taste to it making myself quite proud of it. Kagami had become a bit suspicious of sweets due to the bland products from the item's catalog but I was able to convince Kagami one way or another with some conditions attached.

That if this cake didn't satisfy its taste, then I would feed it twice as much as it needs to fill up its stomach. But if the taste did satisfy Kagami then I only need to satisfy its hunger with tasty foods. I was able to win this bet but now Kagami is demanding huge amounts of sweets with a partial transformation back to its true form.

Well, this was enough to pass the time until Oozer is finished with building a new cave. I used the blank core this time and it went off without a hitch, becoming a true dungeon core and without passing out this time. With my sense of omniscience back after taking control, I look forward to being able to start making again.

Just as I was feeling happy about this event, my control over the vampire body got robbed. I panic a bit until I heard her voice. With that same grin.

"Now that thee is back to being a dungeon core, I will be taking complete ownership of this body." ( Alicia )

Pride. But taking full control at such a time bothers me.

"It's because thou had placed some of thee's consciousness within this body at birth. Now that thee has completely moved thou's consciousness into the blank core, I have become this body's true owner." ( Alicia )

Because I moved into the blank core from that body, you were able to gain full control? Ah, Wait!. I don't have a body to display expressions so how!?

"That's correct. Also, start calling start me by the name of this one Alicia. I have taken quite a liking to this name. And unlike Gluttony, or should I call it Kagami now? oh well. Unlike Kagami, I can form a connection with thee and act as a leader for thou's dungeon, and in this process, I can listen in on thou thoughts so telepathy is needless for this one." ( Alicia )

Alright. But I still have a few things I want to complain about directly to you, for one why did you give away the answers to my 'Gates of Wisdom'!

"Isn't it fine? From what I know about thee, those were one of thou's easier 'wisdom gates'." ( Alicia )

Well...it is, but now that is still two less gate I can use, I want something in return!

"What a petty spirit. Fine, as long as thou's request isn't absurd." ( Alicia )

Then, I want advice about dungeon's and about sub-core monsters.

"Oh, if it's just this much then I will comply." ( Alicia )

First off, I want to generate walls that C-ranks can't break.

"Simple. Live a decade then thou will naturally gain the ability." ( Alicia )

Wait, so I will gain it after I live for 10 years? but I want it now though.

"I can unlock it now, but that would mean thou will owe me something." ( Alicia )

Frick. Um, what would you want in return?

"If thee grants me access to create a sub-core monster then I shall call it even." ( Alicia )

Deal. So what monster is it?

I know Alicia is plotting something again, but I really need those powerful C-rank walls. As long as I have those then I will have a strong income. I gather details from Alicia on what sub-core monster she is creating, but I am only confused since its a monster with strong 'inborn potential' like the Founding Vampire, or the slime subspecies Doppel Slime.

The 'inborn potential' is something carried within the bloodline and birthright, outside of the other traits relating to growth. There is virtually no chance for evolution, and will always have some hard limits to it, unlike the traits where it's possible to select 'limitless'. It's like a child becoming an adult, eventually, they would grow bigger.

But when I asked about Alicia is she fine with a hard limit on her potential. She merely commented that Sin's and Virtue's monsters are different and that they don't have limits on them. Essentially saying that she and Kagami don't ever need to worry about roadblocks on their path to power.

But it also means that this new sub-core monster will stop growing at one point. If it doesn't have either a sin or virtue then it will stop getting stronger at some point. Well, I'll get a new one in the future. I just need to comply with Alicia.

"Wait until this spirit enter's a new monster. Don't worry, it forms should be capable of cooking thou's meals. On another note, I shall have thee make those refined meals for me as well. ( Alicia )

Yeah, yeah. I got it.

"Which reminds me, Spirit, thou doesn't have a name yet. Want the great me to name thee?" ( Alicia )

It's true I don't have a name to call myself, but I don't need anyone to help me to think of one.

"What a shame...huhu" ( Alicia )

I don't know what Alicia is plotting now, but I better watch my back.

Going through all the details of Alicia's is listing for this sub-core monster. It's a 'Spirit Werewolf Cub'. The cost of this thing is ridiculous, in fact, I wouldn't have been able to afford its base form. Well makes sense since it's adult phase is on the same level as an A-rank. But that is if it lives long enough.

Reducing it's lifespan actually decreased the cost of it by a HUGE amount. I was told that she is limiting the lifespan to 10 years, born as an E-rank but after a very long time, it will naturally reach A-rank naturally. But just a measly 10 years won't get it very far.

I was also told by Alicia since this being is a spirit type beast it would naturally cloak dungeon properties, I also wondered if it's alright if Kagami goes out wandering only for Alicia to tell me this.

"Gluttony possesses an internal dimension for a stomach, and part of its aura is related to distortion, rather than seeing info, everything they see would be corrupted." ( Alicia )

Making Kagami safe as well, but it kinda makes me think that all those stealth skills I gave them are useless. Thanks to the spirit-type cloaking, it would make others only think that it's just another spirit but it's not perfect. Well just need to watch out for those with special searchers.

After that, Alicia went through all the extras she is adding on. But the more I see that grin of hers, the more I feel like it's a trap. I can't back out since Alicia already promised to add C-rank walls after this creation.

All that's left is to create this monster, the DP cost is at 206,546DP. It took some time like with the last one, but not as long. Kagami was complaining but it couldn't do anything other than wait until this new body is born.

After it's born, I check it's status immediately

Oddly enough, Alicia put on the same set I gave both her and Kagami. But the innate skills are where this monster shine.

'Human-Beast-Spirit Transformation' is self-explanatory.

'Beast-Lord' allows me to influence beasts below me and grant me resistance against other 'Beast-Lord' holders.

'Elemental-Spirit' was the one Alicia chosen among the kinds of spirit, it just grants me power over Elements. To what extent depends on my will and this one's growth.

'Primal Fury' is just a beastly berserk state, and it only activates when I'm driven into a corner.

After checking, I start learning how to control this monster. After birth, it is in its wolf form. An ash-colored wolf with heterochromia, a blue eye on the right, and a yellow eye on the left. I keep trying and trying until I am able to transform into human form.

Just a regular boy with the hair and eyes the same color as it's wolf form, no wolf ears or wolf tails or any wolf-like trait visible. But this should be fine for now, Alicia even said that it only has manageable instincts and is relatively easy to handle as a sub-core. As I head towards the kitchen trailer, Alicia does it.

She places her hand on my head and starts rubbing as if she is patting me. I wouldn't have minded IF IT WERE NOT FOR THE FACT ALL THE STRENGTH IN MY LEGS JUST GAVE AWAY!!!

"Wha!? What the hell!?" ( werewolf cub )

I can't get up, my body isn't responding to my commands. Although I can speak my body is just trembling. What now!?

"Hah, as I thought, this is going to be fun." ( Alicia )

That grin of hers looks seriously scary at the moment. Rather I knew there was a trap but I wasn't expecting this!

"Huhuhu, thou's internal panic is completely displayed on your face and in your thoughts. It's fun to watch and listen." ( Alicia )

"how? what is happening?" ( werewolf cub )

"Stop asking so many questions at once, I'll answer them in due time but for now. I'll name thee 'Fen' Fen Geonhardt, don't tell me thou dislikes the name since all I did was use the surname thou have given us and replaced a small portion of it to give it a masculine vibe. Also, spirit thou's name should just be Geon seems fitting. " ( Alicia )

Although I agree with her, the way she just imposes everything like this just irritates me. Moreover, this body is just nodding to everything she says.

"And for the next few hour's, thou will officially be my dog. huhu. " ( Alicia )

Note to my future self, always take Alicia's words with a huge pile of salt.
