(Author note: This chapter is a continuation from the Rewrite chapters. Rather than a rewrite it was more like a reboot.
Sorry for the confusion it might have caused. To understand this chapter you have to read the rewrite chapters.)
-Ria POV-
The fight has been going on for about an hour now. It doesn’t look good for the group since they were clearly visibly exhausted by this point whereas the daema seems to barely consider the fight up to that point a warm up. They were giving it their all form the get a go without holding anything back so I guess its reasonable they were tired by now. The main problem I have, is how should I interfere without being noticed. It would be a problem if they see me.
While thinking about it the daema that was giving me all these problems in the first place charged knocking the warrior out of the way with one swing of its claws. It seemed to be targeting the mages at the back. The mages reacted by creating a wall of ice surrounded by wind to try to stop the daema. Unfortunately it wasn’t enough, the daema easily shattered their defences and attempted to end their lives.
Without thinking things through enough I quickly shifted my right hand and controlled the air around the daema and dragged it towards me. The effects were much more flashy than I expected. Rather than nothing appearing it seemed more like a tornado had sucked the daema into it and had dragged it towards me. Since it was too late to regret what I did, I prepared myself to defeat the daema as quickly as possible before the humans come over and see me.
I endured the pain and released my wings from my back. As usual it felt as if something ripped its way out of my back. As soon as the daema reached me along with countless leaves and branches from some of the trees that were in way, I shifted my other hand as well and grabbed one of its limbs tightly with my claws. Ignoring its cries of pain as my claws digged into its flesh I launched myself off the tree and flew away from the humans.

-Third person POV(Ria)-
Ria proceeded to throw the daema in her grasp onto the ground with all the strength she could muster in her current form. A miniature crater formed where it landed. Ria proceeded to manipulate the earth around it with her mana to surround it in a cage made out of earth spikes.
The daema growled as it stood back up and proceeded to attempt to break through the earth cage sera formed around it. No matter how many times it broke through Ria simply formed a new one in its place.
“I know you can understand me. So I hope you can stop attacking the humans since I need them alive. Also I’m able to understand your speech so feel free to reply.” Ria said as she descended next to the earth cage.
“They are my prey. I never let my prey go.”
“Unless you want this to escalate into your death I suggest you reconsider.”
“As if a little girl demon like you can scare me into submission.”
Seemingly offended by the reply Ria started transforming even more. Horns started growing out of her forehead. Her feet similar to her hand was covered in scales. Her nails were all currently claws and the scales even covered her neck. Her fox tail transformed into a dragon like tail covered in the same scales. As she went closer to the daema it stared at her surprised in her sudden change.
“Unless you want the incident in my cave to repeat itself I hope you understand that you are not my match.”
“You…. YOU!!!That damn dragon who took my territory.” The flames on its back and paws intensified as it released its killing intent.
“Seems like this conversation is going no where. I can’t waste anymore time. I rather not kill you but if you refuse to listen I have no choice.”
Ria proceeded to jump towards the daema. She manipulated the earth cage into spikes aiming towards the daema. The daema surrounded its entire body with flames. The flames defended the daema as it charged forward attempting to attack Ria. Ria flew upwards to avoid the blow. After which she quickly flew towards it and used its tail the hit the daema into the ground. After which quicker than it could react she had used her claws to pierce through its head.

It was a surreal scene a little girl piercing a huge wolf ten times her size with her arm. As the daema fell lifeless onto the ground Ria quickly flew as far as she could away from the corpse when she heard footsteps approaching her. From a tree quite a distance away she transformed her body back into her demihuman form. Ria yelped in pain a little as she transformed back. With her dragon eyes she easily viewed the corpse of the daema now being surrounded by the 4 humans who seemed surprised to see it.
-Party POV-
The daema was suddenly surrounded by a huge tornado of air coming form the forest. As the wind died down the daema had disappeared from its previous position. Both mages was blown away by the blast of wind. The warrior and rogue quickly ran towards them to check if they were ok. The female mage was helped up by the rogue and the male by the warrior.
“What the heck just happened.” The warrior said as he looked at the female mage.
“Don’t look at me I didn’t do it. I can’t cast a wind spell of that magnitude yet. From the looks of it a A rank wind mage casted it.”
“Nevertheless we were saved by whoever who casted it.” The male mage said as he let out a sigh of relieve
“Don’t you think we should go help. That daema was probably a peak A rank daema.” The rogue said seemingly concerned for their mysterious savior.
“If we go now we won’t be much of a help. We barely have any mana left. We might become a burden if we go.” The male mage said with a solemn look on his face.
Suddenly they heard a loud sound coming from the direction the spell had came from.
“I don’t care I refuse to let that person die I’m going to help.” The warrior yelled out as he ran towards the forest.
“That idiot” The female mage said as she ran after him.
The male mage and rogue ran after the two. Despite their best effort they were rather slow due to their exhaustion. After around 15 minutes they finally reached a clearing in which what they saw caused astonished all four of them. The daema was lying on the ground dead with a huge hole straight through its forehead.
“Seems like we underestimated our mysterious savior.” The male mage said as he examined the corpse.
“More importantly where the heck did they go. Judging from the earth around here I’m guessing it was both a wind mage and earth mage.” The rogue said as he examined the surrounding.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if they had a warrior. I can’t think of a single technique that could inflict such a injury on its forehead though.” The male warrior said as he seemed deep in thought.
“Well more importantly we are all alive. For a second there I thought we were all going to die.” The female mage said
“Perhaps the group that helped did it on whim. We are lucky that they aren’t our enemy.” The male mage said in relief.
The group eventually decided to rest for a while before continuing since they were all exhausted.
-Ria POV-
As I watched the group started resting I was relieved since they didn’t try to find me. Honestly I overdid it, in my anger I transformed most of my body using partial form. I was fine physically but the pain from transforming is quite draining mentally so I wanted to take a short break as well. If possible I rather not interfere but the situation forced my interference. Well at least they didn’t see me.
I can’t wait to reach a town. My curiosity towards human place of residence has peaked since I’m so close to my goal. When it was a hopeless dream of mine to visit a town I could somehow contain my curiosity, but with my goal so close I anticipated it coming true all the more.
(Author Note) : As usual i hope for some opinions if anything is not to you're liking.

Rise of an Undead in a Fantasy World
Have you ever wondered what would happen if an undead being that doesn't know what it is like to be alive got free will? What would that undead creature do? How would they think? How would they view the world around them? Would they see life as futile and conquer the world, making it a lifeless danger zone to all living beings? Well, none of that matters, because that's not happening. Our main character is your average gamer from the modern world, yada yada yada... gets transported to a fantasy world through obscure means, blah blah blah... you know how this works. What separates him from the masses, however, are his views on ethics, and world politics. ... Oh, and the fact that he doesn't need to breathe. Message From Author! Accept?: Yes No This is only my second novel, so keep that in mind. I will try to keep the quality of the story to an acceptable level. This means something that I, myself would read. The quantity, however, may put some people off. Adding onto the whole "villainous lead" thing, I will make sure to have the character develop into that perfect little villain over time, instead of starting him out as a bloodthirsty murder-hobo. Of course, there will still be a lot of murdering and he may be a hobo for some of it, but it will mostly not be out of malice in the very early chapters. Last but not least, I have decided there will not be a defined release schedule for this, as I have lost interest in forcing myself to upload x amount of times a week. I will upload whenever I get a good idea, and take my time. That is, if I even feel like writing in the first place. Instead of taking breaks from this novel to do my own thing, I will take breaks from my daily life to post on here. Also, I'm lazy. Thanks for reading, and if you're alright with everything above, feel free to give it a read, and without further ado, have a good one! - Your Author P.S.: I will have little to no romance in the story, as I can't bring myself to writing it, so you don't have to worry about harems.
