《Reincarnation》Chapter 28

-Ria POV 3rd person POV-
Mjolnir rushed smashing his hammer repeatedly striking nothing but the ground sending lighting flying everywhere. Svalinn on the other hand was controlling the ten fireball to shield the audience who were currently evacuating due to a announcement. The fireballs she controlled could spread into a wall like shape and block the various stray shots mjolnir was leaving. Ria on the other hand could do nothing but dodge until all the citizens evacuated at least. She had no intention of letting too many people know of her ability.
To support her ability to dodge she was pumping as much of her dragon mana throughout her body, not enough to cause a partial transformation but enough to boost her physical strength. Using her ability like this wasn’t efficient due to the fact it would cause similar strain as using partial form. Its affects much weaker but in the long run it could potentially injure her. Mjolnir continued to fight with recklessly smashing and releasing lighting throughout his wake, Svalinn was supporting him by both preventing him from injuring the people who haven’t finish evacuating and blocking the few attacks Ria could throw out towards Mjolnir.
-Ria POV-
During the entire exchange of blows I was looking for an opportunity to escape since I clearly didn’t stand a chance if I didn’t use partial form, but between mjolnir absurdly brutal attacks and Amber fire walls I couldn’t find that opening I was desperately looking for. I still didn’t want to believe Amber had betray me but situation has forced me to accept the reality before me. As a matter of fact the fire Amber has been creating was extremely weird. No matter how I much I punch or hit it, it felt like a solid, a extremely durable one at that.
The pain of what seemed to be a betrayal was there but I couldn’t even stop to think about it since they didn’t give me the time for anything but to plan on how to dodge the next attack. Eventually I couldn’t see any audience left which gave me the freedom to partial form without being seen by to many people. I didn’t want to use this against Amber but they weren’t exactly giving me the luxury of being picky.

I quickly partial formed both hands and both legs after which I aimed my attack towards mjolnir. The flames appeared between us almost instantly but it didn’t matter as my claws easily pierced through it smashing straight into mjolnir hammer. I could see cracks start forming on the hammer head as he was easily sent flying. Amber revealed a look of shock as both my boots and gloves were torn due to the transformation. The mana I circulated around my body to strengthen my body started to have an undesirable effect of forcing the rest of my body to change. It was slow but I could feel my body forcibly transforming.
I have never mastered partial form to begin with. I could never fully controll it. I had always simply poured mana to transform certain parts so it came to no surprise to me as I was slowly losing control of the transformation occurring to my body. I could forcibly stop circulating my dragon mana but that would make me a sitting duck against both these A rank who wanted to capture me.
Almost to mock my current situation people wearing somewhat similar uniform started to rush in. Their uniform looked less fancy so I could assume they weren’t as strong I suppose. The situation was however I looked at it dire. I couldn’t fly out due to the ceiling and blasting through the ceiling is sure to attract unwanted attention in a huge city.
I continued to fight easily defeating the people who had swarmed in and mjolnir who had stood back up and was punched straight back to the ground. I couldn’t bring myself to attack amber and honestly she was doing me a favor by creating shields before my attack landed. I could freely attack without worrying about killing anyone.
“I guess its time for me to join the party.”
A voice suddenly echoed throughout the area as a huge man jumped down from a seat quite high up. It was nearly impossible to see from below as a matter of fact I didn’t even realize that there was a space of some sort over there. The man who jumped down wore a bracelet which showed he was a adventurer. He wore normal looking clothing but the moment I saw his bracelet, I couldn’t help but curse my luck. His bracelet was made by a material I have never seen before. Its safe to assume it was adamantine. The bracelet was black in colour with a gold pattern drawn throughout.

“Well you military folks better have a good reason to ruin my tournament.”
The very moment he had entered the fray all movement had ceased from the military people who were trying to capture me just moments ago.
“A Adamantine rank adventurer. What are you doing here?” Mjolnir chocked out as he coughed some blood out.
“Why can’t I attend my own tournament. I attend annually I just normally don’t make a appearance.”
I was starting to reach my limit and the transformation I was holding back started to slowly spread. The scales from both my arm and legs started to slowly spread. Every passing second caused more scales to form. Should I try to escape now? It seemed like a good chance as I accelerated the partial form and allowed my wings to form blasting out of my back.
I didn’t give anyone the time to react and launch myself from the ground aiming to blast out of the ceiling. Now that there was a adamantine adventurer around, escaping had become my number one priority. The man however reacted fast enough blocking my path and landed a kick sending me crashing into what was once the audience seat.
The shock of the impact had broken my concentration allowing the partial form to spread faster. His kick had shattered my mask as well revealing my face not that it mattered much at this point. Currently my body had pretty much fully partial formed similar to my fight with the knight mosnter in the dungeon. My height had grown as well and I could feel my body filled with strength and the pain of the recoil of using my demihuman form as a catalyst for my dragon power
“So that’s the reason you ruined my tournament. A dragon girl. Well she looks hot.”
The adventurer started spouting nonsense at the sight of my complete partial form. The military hasn’t made a single move, Amber included ever since that man appeared. As expected joining this tournament was truly a bad decision. Well I was never really that good at that kinda of stuff anyways. Since its probably impossible to leave without defeating the man I charged straight into him.
-Ria POV 3rd person POV-
Ria launched her entire body crashing into the adventurer which he blocked using his weapon which he took out. The weapon was a giant claymore. He started his chant to unleash his weapon true form. Ria didn’t wait a second longer and continued her assault this time coating each and every one of her attacks in flames. Similar to her fight with the knight her attack had caused fire to blast in every single direction. Svalinn immediately reacted and protected everyone on the ground by creating a huge wall of flame separating the fight between ria and the adventurer which was taking place in the air.
-Ria POV-
As I attacked the adventurer I could vaguely see his weapon transforming but I couldn’t tell for sure. My body was just moving in response to his attacks. I felt almost as if, I was in a dream like state. This has never happened before but as the fight went on I had a flashback of a smaller version of me not in dragon form rather partial form killing people in armor and the place was littered with demibeast corpse as well. Was it a memory from my past?

(Re)Install
After his death, Garry, AKA Gaz, is summoned by a nameless goddess to another world and tasked with a very important mission, the main characters sets out to travel around in search of a way to accomplish his objectives and live happily ever after. The catch? The mission is to save the same goddess, who've been sealed away for all eternity in who knows where. Having little to no energy left, she was unable to create a decent blessing, so Gaz is left with a weak body in a savage world that he knows nothing about. Also, did i mention he wasn't reincarnated as a human? Neither as a beast? Well...His actual body might actually not be that bad. As long as he survives the first day, of course.-------------Okay, some of you might know from Insania Online, some don't, so might as well explain it here. This is a Re: (ish) style story, with a Scifi (ish) setting and some fantasy (ish) assets (precision is overrated). This is kind of a side project I will work while I take a break from insania. This is a crazy idea i had thanks to a certain game's trailer, and decided to write it. Even if it starts fairly serious, it will probably have a lot of wacky comedy, so don't say you haven't been warned and don't try to take it too seriously. Really. If you are expecting a dramatic and heavy story, this is very probably not what you want(who knows? I'm just starting it...).
