Chapter 52: [ We would never let him go ]
Doram and Garas frowned and their hands immediately made their way to the hilt of their sword, prepared to draw it if it’s necessary. Celis and Celia too prepared their selves. It could be said that they had never trust Zarda and the others. In their eyes, a monster race is a monster race.
Only Princess Leticia was still calm and unperturbed. “I have already noticed this since we arrived here but why do you seem anxious about our existence? Is there something you are afraid of?”
Zarda’s eyes narrowed and the atmosphere inside the tent turned colder than normal. Even the monster hide used as wall and roof gradually froze over.
“Afraid… yes, indeed we have.” Zarda smiled coldly. “Princess, I believe you are a smart person… so don’t ever test our patience. You have already done something we couldn’t allow. Talking like this and sending you without killing you, is already giving you face.”
"... ..."
“Don’t make me change my decision, you will regret it.”
A huge shadow fell on Princess Leticia’s face, “Is it about that boy?”
Zarda narrowed her eyes but said nothing in response. She just glares at her and didn’t utter a word.
“Judging from your expression, it seems like it was indeed so.”
Shiing! At this moment, without hesitation, Stagna draw her sword. This action startled the group, though Doram and Garas immediately stood up in response, swords in their hands.
“Speak no more!” Stagna muttered coldly.
But Princess Leticia was unperturbed and continued without caring about the tense atmosphere.
“That boy is from the Aquarian Clan, a great clan of our kingdom.”
“You!!” Stagna was enraged and was about to attack when Zarda stops her. Drova was in the same position.
“I had my suspicions the moment I saw him…” Princess Leticia continued. “I had once heard that the Main family of the Aquarian Clan had once lost a newborn son, making the entire family went crazy about it.”

“That event even caused a sensation as the entire Clan almost flipped the entire kingdom just to find one single child – but it wasn’t found. I had suspected, but I have no proof – not until I met the Silver Wolf king,” Princess Leticia’s gaze went towards the uncaring Alba licking her fur.
Feeling the gaze, Alba stared at her in response and if a wolf could grin like a normal human, she would have done it already. “Was that so? However, does that really matter? My child is my child…”
Alba smiled. Truthfully, saying that she had found it wasn’t really the entire truth.
There was still more to it…
“Yours?” At this moment, Zarda finally showed a surprised look. She had never thought that this wolf has actually a connection to Rain. She had always thought that this monster was with the princess but – to be Rain’s mother was a surprise to her.
“Yeah, that child is my child…” Alba shrugs.
“However, that boy must be returned to the Aquarian Clan. If he really is the one, then that should be the correct matter…”
Celis and Celia nodded their head in agreement as they had known about this. In fact, Celia was the one who had reminded Princess Leticia about this.
As a member of a Clan close to the Aquarian, Celia was quite knowledgeable about inside matters of the Aquarian Clan. Celis, on the other hand, just realized it the moment Celia told her about her conjecture.
Thus, she was also eager to escort Rain back to the Clan.
But that is something that the Lamias feared to happen.
“Nonsense!!” Drova was furious. Enraged, she yelled loudly. “Rain won’t go anywhere! He is a member of our tribe! If you push this matter, then don’t blame us for being impolite!”
Clatter! Clatter!
Several lamias started pouring inside the tent, encircling the princess and her group. Weapons in their hands and anger colored their faces.

Princess Leticia didn’t fear. She was confident on her soldiers and most of all her and the other Holy Knights abilities. On this expedition, including her, there were six Holy Knights and four Templar knights.
With this force, defeating a small tribe of monster was nothing.
It wasn’t boastful at all. In fact, the only trouble they had would only be from Zarda, Drova, Stagna, and Lafete – people who were known as Chosen Ones and an acquired gift from the Gods.
Princess Leticia stood proudly and an air of dominance surround her.
But Zarda was also the same. She stood up.
“Is that an act of declaring war against us… human princess?” from the wooden chair, ice started crawling until the ground, dropping the temperature even more.
Princess Leticia’s body lit up with a golden radiance. The chill immediately dispersed. “Say, why is that boy so important to you?”
“… …”
“Do you even realize that you are picking a fight with a whole kingdom? Even with us here, I doubt many of your tribesmen would survive if we battle…”
Princess Leticia asked curiously. Just how is it possible that an entire Monster Tribe would pick a fight just for a single human?
Even if the tribe has the confidence to win; they would still suffer tremendously because of this. Dozens or probably even more death would certainly happen…
And still, they would do it? Why? Princess Leticia didn’t believe Zarda and the others didn’t realize this nor would she think that they were that dumb and stupid not to.
However, she was surprised by Zarda’s answer that didn’t even needed any time to respond.
“Because Rain is the member of our tribe.” Zarda smiled. “And most of all, he is the most important member not only for me but also for the tribe. Each of us wouldn’t mind laying our lives just to keep him on our side… do you, everyone?”
“Yessss!!” The Lamias simultaneously responded without any hesitation.
“If you dare take him away from us, we will certainly kill all of you… until last one of us still standing. Keep that in mind, human princess!” Zarda snarled.
“His real identity doesn’t matter! For us, he is no one else but Rain… we would never let him go.”
In fact, this wasn’t just the tribe’s decision; it was only Zarda and hers alone.
This was her own selfishness!
Similar with Lafetti, Zarda was obsessed with Rain – Though that wasn’t new. When a Lamia love, they would like someone until it’s already scary.
Their love will always turn to obsession.
That is also the reason why Lamia was always betrayed by humans as most men will feel strangled because of their excessive affection.
And Lamias will always turn mad whenever that happens. Their retaliation worsens the reputation of the Lamias from the humans.
In the history of , there was one Lamia – an Alpha Lamia with an appearance similar to Medusa.
She was a chief of a huge tribe of Salamandra Lamia.
She had once met a human male which she had fallen in love too.
However, that man has a childhood friend he was extremely close with. Thus, in jealousy, she tried killing the woman but the man witnessed it and in anger, he attacked her.
Because of this, the Lamia was shocked and despaired. The man chooses that woman over her.
She was enraged.
She rallied her tribesmen and scourged the entire village due to heartache.
Ever since that time, the infamy of the Lamias increased.
Hate and prejudice worsened.

Small Chests Are Fine Too
It is an undeniable fact that good things come in small packages. More often than not, it is necessary to trim the fat in order to bring what really matters to the forefront. Having extra bulk may seem like a good idea, but in reality it is merely a crutch that will one day become a hindrance, as it is no substitute for personality nor ability. Indeed, often times it is the small things in life that brighten up our daily lives and constantly remind us exactly why we do the things we do. However, it is important to keep an open mind, for while bigger is not always better, there are also times when it is. This holds especially true when it comes to hopes and dreams, which have been known to require a suitably large container from time to time. And while dreaming big could potentially lead to massive dissapointment, one will never truly reach fulfilment if they think too small. A truth that one small woman with meager aspirations is about to find out. DISCLAIMER: This is a spin-off/side story of my main series, Everybody Loves Large Chests, which is also mandatory reading to understand this one. It runs parallel to the main plot, branching off from the chapter titled Upheaval 2, so there will be spoilers for anyone who hasn't reached that point.

His race would change around chapters 20-30. The story's pacing would depend on the arcs, but I'll try to keep it at the fast-mediums. This story WILL have a harem, although the romance won't start early, and it will be slow as building characters is necessary for romance.

A story told from the point of view of an NPC that became sentient. With the help of a friendly player or two, they set about recovering her memories and finding out the cause of her awakening. Set in the MMORPG TERA(The Exiled Realm of Arborea). I got bored on the long commute to and from work(about 1.5 hours each way) and decided to flesh out some of the ideas I've had about my character in game. I write about a chapter a day on weekdays, maybe on weekends too depending on the stuff I have to do irl.
