Chapter 57: [ Fifth rank Monster ]

Not opening his eyes, he could ‘see’ everything around him through the elements of water. Right now, this method of ‘seeing’ was still blurry, like having shortsightedness with a power level of eight hundred without wearing any spectacles, but this feeling was still wonderful.

The part he had struck with his blade froze, giving another additional damage.

As Rain was engrossed in this newfound feeling, chimes suddenly rang out inside of him.

[ Observe – It gives the user an ability to deduce information from all kinds of items, learning classification of items or additional information such as its creator and what skills or functions it has. Can also work for monsters and humans, depending on the user’s level. ]

An appraisal type skill!? “I can also learn skills like this?”

[ Truthfully, it’s not impossible. As long as one achieves basic requirements for learning the skill or has a good amount of abilities and experience towards a particular skill, one can acquire a specific skill.

Though they are only weak skills used in daily life… greatly inferior to the ones bestowed by the Gods. ]

“I see…” This had really become a game-like even more… Rain mused as somersaulted, dodging a monster’s attacks. He then throws a dagger he pulled out from his waist, creating an electric current and electrocuting the monster pierced by the dagger.

Rain restlessly attacked the monsters with his sword and wired dagger as if scraping their meat from their bones. The monsters began bleeding at their waists and falling over, one after the other, as if a demon had passed by them.

The sharp sword and dagger tore through the bodies of the monsters, sending blood spraying. Spinning 360 degrees to dodge a swipe, he would somersault and gain a distance before rushing again.

Lightning, freezing and burning – Rain exhibit variety of powers that people who saw his ghostly like movements that seemed to be predicting the monsters actions, knowing where they were; whether they are behind him or in front of him, couldn’t help but shock and stilled.

Rain’s movements enough, acting like an assassin in the dark was enough to shock the group. Now, with his magic; that lightning, freezing and burning monsters, although it was not as grand as the other specialize mages but being able to use these three elements at once still startled them.

Is he triple elemental!!?

The pack of monsters became smaller and smaller.

Although the group didn’t know for sure how many monsters there were, there must have at least been 30.

Still, there was no tense, panic or unease. Dealing with such a large monster pack would normally be a bit strenuous. These monsters were extremely fierce, but they weren’t much compared to the Warriors' power and strength, after all, they were just Lv2 – 3 monsters.

However, there would certainly be a bit of difficulty to fight against them. But now, with the Lamias additional strength and Rain’s slaughter, the group was actually easily plowing the monsters out.

Princess Leticia and the other group were the one most startled about Rain’s performance. Indeed, he wasn’t simple at all.

Although his power was lacking in strength but the use of his varied abilities along with his combat techniques was well done! Extremely wonderful!

Is he limiting the power to reduce Mana consumption? These thoughts appeared to the high-level people.

If that is the case, then the lack of power and strength in the elemental magic can be understood.

However, such thing was extremely amazing!!

His unorthodox way of fighting greatly complements the way he uses his magic skills. This is the real Magic Warrior!

He was an all-rounder combatant.

Rain continued to move nimbly amidst the chaotic battlefield while cutting the monsters he had targeted, initially at a fast pace, but gradually his movements and actions become smooth the more he battled.

Every time he moves, swing his sword, dodge, his actions became more and smoother.

The initial feeling he gave at first was that his movements and actions were conscious and deliberate actions to lure the enemy into a trap.

However, Princess Leticia and the other high-level people, including Zarda, Lafetti, Drova, Stagna and most of all Alba who’s eyes had a strange glint of them, have gradually discovered that this youth had improved in battle.

He seemed to comprehend something and improved.

His deliberate actions became more gentle and slow, finally becoming too wonderful for words, giving off a feeling that was like dancing – yeah, it’s as if he was dancing in the battle along with his sword and peculiar wired daggers.

“Amazing… his speed wasn’t on par with us or his strength but, his complex attacks were far dangerous and deadly compared to us…” Doram gasped as he suddenly revealed an odd light in his eyes and nodded in praise.

Princess Leticia didn’t say anything but she too nodded her head in agreement.

His speed and power were still incomparable to them showing that his level was certainly below them, however, if they fought him one on one, although their victory was already certain but, they sure in for a rough fight! There might even be a chance of them being defeated if they become complacent and arrogant.

Rain seems to have eyes in every direction and can even predict the enemy’s movement. And adding to his complex combat skills and techniques, Princess Leticia who was hailed as a combat military genius in the entire kingdom can’t help but praise Rain.

He was similarly a genius in combat!

Wait, when his level reaches them, wouldn't he be a force to reckon with? Princess Leticia's mind buzzed in that realization.

Even with just his triple Elemental magic, he was already someone who would cause an earthquake to every kingdom.

Though she didn’t know that this was actually a misconception, as Rain didn’t possess a triple element. It’s just that his magic was a very strange one.

Watching Rain’s real abilities, Princess Leticia’s heavy feelings became even deeper. The more outstanding he becomes, the stronger the headache, Princess Leticia will have!

As she was contemplating while worrying, at this very moment, an angry howl suddenly rang out.

Princess Leticia, and the others all raised their brows. It’s coming!

The alpha monster!

Those who were in front also quickly leaped back. By this time, their surroundings were already covered in monster corpses, as well as a few limping around, heavily injured.

A grey-furred, three-headed wolf over 6 meters long and 4 meters tall appeared, its three pairs of eyes flashing with an ominous glint. It looked at the human group in front of it and issued a challenging howl.

“A rank five monster, Cerberus wolf…” Princess Leticia muttered while frowning.

Rain used the observe skill he had newly acquired and was astounded. It was a fifth rank monster?!

This is going to be extremely difficult!!

“Roar~!” The monster’s enormous body shook, and it suddenly pounced on Garas, leaving a shadow.

Seeing this, Garas hurriedly rolled on the ground but the people behind him were unfortunate as they were immediately sent flying with its claws.

Woosh! Woosh! Arrows and magic flew in the air and struck the monster. However, it just swung its claws around blocking many projectiles.

Garas almost peed himself as he rolled away from behind the long and thin stalagmite before it broke from the huge monster’s attack. It turned to look at Garas on the ground and opened its mouth wide to bite at him.

Garas hurriedly used his great sword to block the monster’s mouth. But comparing strength, Garas was truly at a disadvantage.

The huge three-headed wolf used its powerful strength to steadily force its fierce canines towards Garas body.

Garas suddenly felt more and more heat coming from the last wolf’s mouth that was not biting his great sword. He could vaguely see a spark. It’s going to breathe fire!!

Garas’ body immediately trembled.

Just as the three-headed wolf was about to kill Garas, an angry yell sounded out, “Beast, get lost!”
