Second, usurping a Dragon’s power is certainly painful and consumes not your magical power but of your spirit. That is also the reason, why most Dragon Slayers can only acquire one type of Dragon Power.

And Third, if you absorb more, there’s a high chance that each Dragon-type powers will compete with each other as for who will become on top.

Dragon powers are extremely aggressive as that is their nature… they would never allow another Dragon to be above them.

Thus, if you’re not confident enough to tame them, don’t absorb two or more Dragon-type powers…

Of course, there will always be an exception.

Nothing is absolute in this world… however, there’s no precedent in usurping three or more Dragon-type Powers… so be careful, my beloved successor!

Rain continued reading the tattered ancient book and surprisingly found out that aside from some life events and important glorious achievements, recorded in the book were the fighting styles and techniques of each type of Dragon Slayer, probably those the original owner only know of.

But what Rain caught attention the most was the page describing the items left inside the room.

Rain mused. Dragon Slaying Sword has the power to kill a Dragon and ends its fate. When used by a Dragon Slayer the Dragon Slayer would acquire two abilities;

[ Weight Reduction ] an ability to neglect the weight of the sword and carry it as if it was as light as a feather.

[ Dragon Blast ] an ability to release a shockwave that can blow any kind of enemy.

The next item was [ Dragon’s Claw ] an item that can retract and release three sharp claw-like blades at will and can even shot this claws to be used as a hook.

It indeed looked like Wolverine’s Claws.

It has skills called; [ Dragon’s Breath ] an ability to create a powerful shockwave when punching enemies.

[ Spell Blast ] an ability to nullify any kind of magic the moment it touched the gauntlet.

And lastly [ Self-Evolution ] – an ability that can make the gauntlet’s form changed through the absorption of metals or the wearer’s thoughts. It can also evolve to acquire new abilities from the things or creatures it absorbs.

The sword and this gauntlet, all of them are all Super S rank items!!

Every gamer would certainly cry for happiness!

As Rain was happily reading the book, he suddenly noticed the sounds outside was slowly subsiding.

Rain wracks his brain and suddenly thought about an idea.

He pulled out a monster corpse from one of the Storage.

He noticed it when he was absorbing things into the ring… things flashed within his mind, even including those stored inside it.

Although he doesn’t have any time of checking them one by one but in one of the Storage Ring, he noticed that there were actually several monster corpses stored inside it.

Just what is the purpose of collecting these corpses…?

Rain didn’t know but this would save him at this moment.

He placed at the foremost deep of the cave and tussled his hair into a mess and tore his clothes slightly.

He took out few of his dagger and stabbed it one after another to the monster’s corpse before he turned around and leave.

He put a haggard expression.

Ignoring Sylphy’s rude remark, Rain left the small cave.
