Chapter 78: [ Dragon Heart ]

Rain felt the unimaginable power within him and even his mana had been filled up completely when he consumed Dragon Flesh.

Sylphy could only helplessly mutter how OP Rain’s ability was in absorbing not only abilities but also magic power.

“What?” Rain asked confused. What are they talking about?

Princess Leticia smiled wryly. He wasn’t really listening, huh, “It’s this, what do you think? Proceed or go back?”

“… …” Rain frowned. What is she asking me this for? A test?

However, what made the others felt down was that on the right side of the altar, a familiar looking sculptor of a huge Dragon was there.

Unlike from the one before, it was not made from stone but… Ice!

Even at their distance, they could still feel the chill emitting from it.

Princess Leticia heavily sighed. It seems like the expedition would really stop at this moment…

That ice sculptor should be a Dragon guardian…

“Let’s leave…”

Princess Leticia helplessly muttered when a Crack! Crack! sound appeared and the Dragon’s ice sculptor slowly cracked over.

Princess Leticia looked at Rain laughing and chatting with the Dragon as if they’re old friends and couldn’t help but feel a complicated feeling. She wasn’t the only one as even Zarda and Alba felt amazed by the sudden event.

They couldn’t understand what they are talking but the atmosphere around them was certainly harmonious.

Still, no one tried to step forward and joined them – even Princess Leticia didn’t dare to.

Rain continued to laugh and chat with the Ice Dragon.

“Reru?”

“Lavita Ukma Sifauna,” The Ice Dragon suddenly stood up, startling the others. It then spewed a bluish white colored ball which was slowly floating towards Rain.

Rain reaches his two hands and caught the Bluish white orb.

“Reru? Numa Kani lubarati?”

“Dada Gula, hukhamat Savati gan,”

Rain nodded and then slowly absorbed the orb towards his body. This action suddenly startled the others and their eyes widened in shock and doubt!

What is going?!

What the heck had just happened!!?

Rain’s body momentarily lit up.

[ Master! You have successfully acquired Dragon Heart! Your partner is Amila the Snow Dragon! ]

“Human, with this, if you betrayed my trust, you will die painfully…” The Snow Dragon Amila showed its fangs – Though Rain felt like she was trying to grin.

“I know,” Rain nodded. “In any case, I don’t have any planning on betraying my friends. I will let you out from this place and you will give me power – that is a fair price, if I may say so myself,”

He flashed a faint smile.

Like the Fire Dragon, Amila and the Shadow Dragon was actually imprisoned in this ruins by a curse.

They will only come alive when intruders appeared and stepped in a certain range and for her, the moment someone entered the hall, she will come out from her prison.

If the people leave or die, she will return to being an ice sculptor.
