Chapter 79: [ Homesickness…? ]
Amila has always known about Dragon Slayers – although currently they were already extinct and had disappeared from the surface of the world but from Amila’s time when she was still active, the Dragon Slayer Clan was extremely famous. Of course, before they had become a taboo existence!
Most Dragon Slayers had a Dragon Partner and even some married their partners – that is, if they had become able to turn into a human.
Only the strongest Dragon has that ability.
Dragon Slayers never treated Dragons as tools – they were family or trusted partner. But too bad, the Black Dragon King despised humans.
Thus, leading to their extinction.
She too would probably be hunted if this was known by the Black Dragon King – but she wasn’t afraid of it.
Dragons never scared of death. Probably for upstarts Dragons but for Amila who had live for who knows how many decades and centuries already, life was nothing to them.
The only thing that she was afraid of was being imprisoned in this place for eternity…
And in addition, Amila had a sudden premonition the moment she saw Rain for the first time.
As the last Dragon Slayer in existence… he wasn’t bound to be a simple man!
Probably in the future, he would write history by himself and defeat the Black Dragon King!
... And Amila wanted to see that!
That point where History will be rewritten!

Rain stood up and slowly walked towards the Princess and the others.
Behind him was the Snow Dragon.
Seeing that it wasn’t hostile, the crowd started to lower their guard.
“Rain, what happened…?” The princess asked in doubt.
“It’s nothing. I talked with the Snow Dragon and find out that we’re actually compatible with each other…” Rain replied with a bright smile.
“Now, we are friends…”
“Huh?” The princess widened their eyes in shock at that seemingly simple answer.
The heck did he just say?!
Is that even logical…!?
“Just what the heck happened!?”
Rain shrugs and scooted towards Zarda and the others, completely ignoring her.
‘V’ Rain flashed a V-sign at Lafetti when he saw her and the group looking at him dumbfounded.

Seeing this, Zarda can’t help but shook her head in helplessness. A wry smile suffused her lip.
What an incredible guy…
A proud looked appeared on her face and along with Alba who seemed to be observing the Snow Dragon from head to toe, anyone can see the pride leaking in her eyes.
“And so, what now,” Princess sighed and since she couldn’t digest what had happened until now, she sent a questioning look at Rain.
Rain shrugs, “Snow Dragon said that you can go and take the artifacts inside here though as for the Excalibur --although she wasn’t sure but it should be at the deepest part of this ruins…”
“Really!!?” Hearing the holy sword’s location, Princess Leticia’s excitement surged up! Although the artifacts in this hall seem to be good but what she came here was, after all, the legendary holy sword Excalibur!
For it to be here, really! Although she had expected this – No, she had hoped but there was still, after all, no proof.
But now that the Holy sword existence was really confirmed, Princess Leticia turned even more excited!
Just one more step!
One more step and she will be able to acquire the holy sword!!
However, what Rain said instant poured cold water on her excitement.
“From what Amila had said, behind this room, a shadow Dragon was waiting.”
“Another Dragon!!?” The group was startled.
Their attention then turned towards Amila who was looking at them indifferently.
“Are you sure?!”
“Un.” Rain nodded in response.
The princess bit her lips in frustration and looked back at her subordinates. Fighting a dragon in this state was certainly a suicide.
But the Holy Sword is just the right behind them!
Should they go back first and gathered another fighting group…?
Still, that method was time-consuming since it was a long road until here!
Princess Leticia then raised her head and looked at the Snow Dragon.
“Rain, can this Dragon help us…?”
If there’s another Dragon by their side, their chances of winning would certainly go up even with just their number.
Rain turned his head and looked at Amila.
“Where you go, I will go. I can’t have you dying now, after all…”

“In the first place, can’t we just talk with that Dragon? Maybe it’s quite reasonable… like you?” Rain suddenly thought.
But Amila shook her head. “Did you forget about the Black Dragon King?”
“Ah!” Rain smiled bitterly.
“Shadow Dragons can be said to be a close relative to Dark Dragons and their King was none other than the Black Dragon King.” Amila said with a mischievous tone.
“… Then do you still think they would care about human circumstances? And in addition, the moment he saw you, you will certainly be targeted and be killed for sure. You’re still too weak and you can’t even control your own Dragon Aura –it’s leaking you know~”
“… …”
“He would surely notice it.”
She has a point…
Still, a Shadow Dragon… huh… Rain couldn’t eat Amila or even taste her flesh – Although it was quite regrettable but after all, she was now his partner.
But Shadow Dragon’s flesh… just what’s its flavor, I wonder…? Rain’s lips turned into a bad grin.
What kind of abilities would he acquire –?
It’s decided! Let’s kill it!!
“Amila will help us…” Rain grins.
This words excited the crowd and the princess once again felt hope!
After a short moment of discussion, the group decided to stay for a moment longer and rest. Although they can go now but they wanted to be in their best condition when they fight!
According to Celis appraisal, the black cloak’s name was [ Night Fury ] – a magical item that increased the wearer’s agility and Dexterity by 40% and enables the user to use the skills; [ Shadow Step ] and [ Dark Bind ].
Double-handed Axe was called [ Raging Flame ] – A magical Axe that increased the User’s strength by 20% and can generate flames that cover the Axe Blade. It gives the user skills: [ Flame Storm ] and [ Flame Burst ].
And lastly the Magical Bow; [ Sarafi’s Elegant Bow ] – A magical Bow once owned by a famous Elf Warrior; Sarafi. It generates arrows that contain the power of nature. It has skills; [ Hawkeye ] and [ Rapid Shot ].
All three were high-level artifacts!
Rain took [ Night Fury ] while Drova took [ Raging Flame ]. The bow went towards the princess group. Stagna didn’t want to change her new bow.
Although there was some dissatisfaction but since Rain was the one who had truly acquired it, even the princess couldn’t say anything.
Besides, with Snow Dragon; Amila, who would dare voice out their complains!?
In the far corner of the hall, a chest was found. Inside were a couple of gems and rare ores.
Of course, this was also divided into two groups. Since it was not gold and silver and instead gems and ores, Zarda and the others obviously wanted it. They can make many things using this!

The crowd advance towards the deepest part of the ruins.
Along the way, they had found many treasures – Magical artifacts and also expensive looking masterpieces of arts.
The creator of this Dungeon – it should be Arturia… right?
However, Rain had thought of this before but he just doesn’t have any proof. Still, was the Hero Arturia – a person from Earth…?
But it doesn’t add up… This place is certainly made to look like a Dungeon from a Game. But, that Hero was from Ancient times, right…?
Earth shouldn’t have developed that far yet – in terms of Game with Dungeons… or had it?
Rain was extremely confused. What he only knows is that Arturia has a high chance of being a resident of Earth who is summoned into this world, just like him.
He had even seen a complete look-alike of the Norwegian Expressionist artist Edvard Munch’s masterpiece; The Scream, plastered along the walls of the corridor.
Even Vincent van Gogh’s Sunflowers were present.
Just why did that person put these paintings in this kind of ruins…?
What is she trying to express…?
Hobby? Style? Was it all for that…?
… Or… had she felt longing… for the home, she couldn’t return to…?
Then, does it mean that the moment you stepped into this world, you would never be able to return back to Earth…?
Rain's eyebrows furrowed.

Fallout: Vault X
An original novel set in the Fallout universe, written to be accessible to all, featuring unique people and places. Vol.II. out now Fallout: Vault X tells the story of John. A vault dweller, who spent every day of his twenty five years underground. Like his father, and his father before him. Proud to live in the last remaining bastion of humanity, all that survived The Great War of the atomic age. Hidden deep below the surface of the earth, toiling under brutal conditions. Year after year, decade upon decade. All to expand into the natural cave system the Vault occupied, building for the future. However, John knew what his forefathers did not, that everything he’d been taught was a lie. After finishing school at the age of ten, John received his standard issue pipboy. An arm mounted personal computer, worn by everyone in the Vault. Used to coordinate the relentless pace of expansion, needed to work as an apprentice. To learn the craft that would be his life’s work. A noble calling to ensure a future for all that remained of the human race. A quirk of fate saw John equipped not with the crude, clunky, pipboy model his father wore. That almost everyone around him wore. His looked smaller, sleeker, finished in a jet black sheen. And capable of doing far more than its drab counterparts. The world above had been ravaged by atomic flames, yet life clung to its bones. The Red Valley fared better than most in the century since the bombs fell. The clean water and rich soil protected by rolling hills. All spared from direct strikes, for the most part. Life survived here. Trees spawned from charred ground, misshapen, green leaves turned red. Along with simple crops, grown wild at first, then cultivated by the survivors. The scavengers of the old world were inventive, hardy people. All determined to rebuild in the ruins of a world they never knew. In the decades that passed settlements emerged. They grew, spreading along the valley floor. Reclaiming the pre-war remnants of the once industrialised heartland. Salvaging the robotic wonders of a bygone age to build their walls and work their fields. To protect them in the dark of the wasteland. But such things are uncommon in this world, and the rarer something is, the greater its value. And the worth of pre-war technology had not gone unnoticed. The last, real, power in this world rested in the mechanised hands of The Brotherhood of Steel. Forged from the mortally wounded old world military. The Brotherhood used its access to the weapons made for a conflict no one won to strike out into the wastes. Men and women were equipped with advanced armour, aerial transportation, high grade weaponry. Accompanied by the training, strength, and will, to put them to use. They established chapters and set up outputs far and wide. All dedicated to a single purpose. To ensure the technology left abandoned by its long dead creators didn’t fall into the wrong hands. Namely, any hands that were not their own. This is the world John escaped into. A place of horrors brought forth from atomic fire. A place where survival meant battling against the darkness. Fighting a war each day to get to the next. And war...war never changes

The Youngest Pevensie (a narnia fanfiction)
Everyone knows the story of the Pevansie Siblings, their adventure to Narnia, Edmund being enchanted by the witch, Mr Tumnus and of course Aslan. Something everyone forgets is their youngest sibling Sophie. She was just a baby when her siblings were evacuated so she had to stay at home with her mother. However when Edmund and Peter got into a fight at the train station she was 4 and was next to her siblings when they were called back to lead Narnia again. This time she's along for the ride.I own the character Sophie Pevansie and no one else. All rights go to C.S Lewis for the storyline. I'm basing it off the movie.
